NIKITA SUThis is a new 5-star hotel that recently opened. In my opinion, it's the best hotel in Minsk when it comes to service, cleanliness, staff attitude, and attention to detail. As for the spa, I can't imagine anywhere better than this – again, purely my personal opinion. The photos are accurate. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are large. The hotel has an excellent restaurant that operates à la carte from 10 AM, though breakfast buffet is available from early morning. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Minsk. Waldorf, thank you for your hospitality.

I stayed at this hotel (formerly a monastery and later a guardhouse) and had mixed feelings. Overall, I liked it, but it wasn't without its drawbacks. I think it's better here in summer than in fall and winter.
The first thing I really miss is a trash can in the room. The only small one is in the bathroom, and it's clearly not enough. There's nowhere to throw trash in the room itself.
The second drawback is the cold. The air conditioner is controlled remotely, and it's impossible to set the room temperature yourself. While in regular hotels you can turn up the heat or cool down, here you have to go to reception every time and ask for the temperature to be changed. They promise to do so, but in the end, the room remains chilly. It feels like they're saving on their customers.
The third drawback is the blanket. It fits the mattress perfectly and doesn't hang down the sides at all. It's fine for one person, but if you're sleeping with two people, the blanket is definitely not enough—someone will be left without shelter.
And the fourth point is the echo. Yes, the walls here are indeed thick, as befits an old monastery, but the sound inside reverberates so strongly that every word reverberates. It makes you feel like you're in an empty room—you don't even want to speak.
The fifth drawback is breakfast. While the hours are convenient—from 7 to 11 a.m.—it's very meager. I arrived around 10 a.m., and there were no desserts at all; fruit—a couple of meager orange slices, and that was it. Overall, the fruit and sweet options were poor. The main course included an omelet, an egg with a yolk, a sausage (which tasted distinctly chemical), and fried potatoes—and that's about it.
Overall, I liked the hotel itself: atmospheric, unusual, and steeped in history. But the price is clearly overpriced. For the amenities offered here, the price should be at least a third lower. Right now it's just not worth the money they're asking for it.

We liked the Europa Hotel, a comfortable clean room and a great location. We didn't like that on the morning of our flight it took almost an hour to prepare breakfast for us and then we hurried to the airport.

The hotel is located a little outside the city center, near the opera house, in a small side street. From there, you can get everywhere very quickly, either on foot or by tram. I booked a small double room with a shared bathroom. As is always the case with shared rooms, everything depends on the other travelers staying at the hotel. At least I was lucky, and everything was fine. There's also a small café where you can get something to eat. The staff speaks English, which is great if you have any questions. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay. I can highly recommend it for a trip to Belarus.

Mila81Good hotel, clean, and housekeeping was excellent. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, so I can't comment on that. The location is pretty good; there's a river nearby for walks, and it's about a 20-25 minute walk to the city center. Behind the hotel, there's a street with cafes and bars. It's also about a 5-minute walk to the Komunarka brand store (factory outlet). We asked for a quieter room and got one facing the inner courtyard, which was very quiet, great for sleeping. The soundproofing isn't the best though; you can definitely hear doors slamming in neighboring rooms and so on. The service was fast and efficient. We asked for the air conditioning to be adjusted and the water cooler on our floor to be refilled, and both were taken care of immediately.

It was a Tidy & Clean hotel. Well Decorated. The only problem was, it gave a feeling that the hotel was still working under the process of closing. The ****** was closed, Restaurant closed, no breakfast, no room service, I mean the hotel’s activities were minimized. A strange thing was, they charge extra money if you take an additional towel. A very small price, but makes feel why they do that. So, the hotel, personnel are very nice, but somethings give a strange feeling.

Anonymous UserExcellent budget hotel, city center.
Four tram stops from the railway and bus stations. Walking distance from the stop. Wonderful, very friendly staff
Clean room, snow-white linen.
The prices in the cafe are very reasonable and I liked the food.
You can walk to Pobedy Square and Gorky Park.
If I have to, I will stay here again.

To be honest, I haven't actually stayed there myself. I booked it online for a company employee's business trip. Overseas hotels, unlike those in my home country, tend to have smaller beds, but the price is quite reasonable. Overall, it seems like a pretty good fit.
