LibaofuhaichayigemengI spontaneously decided to stay a night to check out the UBCO campus. The location is super convenient, really easy to find by car, and very close to the university – definitely my top choice for visiting the campus. The room facilities were pretty standard, which is what you expect from a chain hotel; they always have a certain standard and guarantee.

We were greeted by the staff when we arrived. Check-in only took a few minutes. The room was superb. Big and spacious room. We had a king and queen rooms and both has their own toilet and bath. A spacious living room with fire place and a balcony overlooking the mountains and lake. The kitchen has everything you needed. I couldn’t ask for more. The hotel is fantastic.

vekinvenesThe two-bedroom apartment actually has three bedrooms, which is fantastic! The balcony view is amazing, reminiscent of Qiandao Lake. Parking is reasonable. Access control is very secure. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances, a washer, and a dryer. It's perfect for family trips.
The swimming pool is actually quite small, but the view is amazing. The weather was still a bit cool at this time of year, so the hot tub was very comfortable after the sun went out!
The only downside was the hotel's housekeeping service. They wouldn't come in to clean if they saw personal belongings on the bed and the door was closed, but they did leave a small note explaining and apologizing. This was understandable.

QiaokelibabamamaGreat location, right in the city center/next to the highway, close to supermarkets and restaurants. It's a 7-minute drive to the lakeside beach and 20 minutes to City Park.
Excellent value for money, includes free parking, WiFi, and a 24-hour front desk.
The rooms are new, renovated in 2024–2025, with a simple and modern design. The bedding is comfortable, and a mini-fridge and coffee maker are provided.
Friendly service, with a warm front desk staff and quick check-in/check-out. It's also pet-friendly.
Practical breakfast: No free breakfast, but they provide vouchers for the adjacent Ricky’s restaurant (can be exchanged for pancakes/bacon/eggs). You can upgrade your breakfast for an extra charge; I tried the BC Benny, and it was quite good.
Facilities include a seasonal outdoor pool, a small gym, and a self-service laundry room.
A nice little touch: They put a rubber ducky in the bathroom, which adds a fun brand personality.
The downside is the motel-style layout: external corridor access means less privacy. There's only one elevator, so for lower floors, taking the stairs is recommended.
Noise issue: Rooms facing the street experience noticeable noise from highway traffic. It's advisable to request a room away from Harvey Ave when checking in.
There's no elevator access to the 2nd and 3rd floors, which can be challenging if you have a lot of luggage.

Blur.86The hotel was spotlessly clean and well-equipped, with a very convenient location. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was a breeze. Its peaceful environment makes it ideal for both leisure and business travelers. Overall, a fantastic experience; I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Devopriya TirthoI stayed at Recreation Inn during my recent trip to Kelowna, and overall, it was a decent experience for the price. The standout for me was the Saturday breakfast – simple but on point. It was served buffet-style with a good mix of egg muffins, fruit, bread, and juice. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, making for a nice start to the day.
The room itself was clean and had all the basic amenities I needed, but I have to admit, the condition of the room felt quite dated. The furniture and decor could really use an upgrade, and there was an unpleasant musty odor in the room that lingered throughout my stay, which definitely affected my comfort.
The staff were polite and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth. The location is convenient, close to some restaurants and not far from the lake, which was a bonus.
If you’re looking for a basic place to crash for a night or two and don’t mind a bit of an older vibe, it could work. But if you’re sensitive to smell or looking for something modern and more refreshed, this might not be the best fit.

The hotel was great, we enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious, bed comfortable, nice pillows and towels. The toiletries were a bit too small, so we asked for more and were provided right away. I absolutely loved the territory and the warm outdoors swimming pools and hot tubs, those are amazing!
The only thing is the restaurants on the property, even though the menu is quite good, the dishes didn’t taste great, we had two breakfasts and two dinners, and ordered different things every time, but still. Could be us, but just a note, you may want to eat elsewhere.

The Dilworth Inn is an older hotel and our room appeared dated. The fixtures and fittings were old fashioned and the carpet was well worn. Having said that, it was clean and comfortable. Everything worked and there was a modern TV. There is a pool but it was unavailable during our stay.
The hotel is a long way from downtown Kelowna and the lake front. It isn't really walkable and car parking can be expensive downtime. We paid $25.60 for 3 hours near the Japanese garden...ouch!
There was plenty of choice for breakfast but all cutlery and crockery, mugs and glasses were disposable, which seemed very wasteful. Maybe that's how they are able to offer attractive room rates.
All in all, not a bad choice for people on a budget.

Hotel is a good value
The new tubs are so slippery I’m surprised that there have not been several accidents no mats on the tubs but was surprised to see a sign on front offering a mat if requested -that’s a safety issue to me

Overall, my stay was nice and it was a good experience, the Barbecue stove was very good and the location is very convenient too, but the air vent was very dirty and has a heavy smoke smell, the outdoor pool was pretty dirty too..
