The most delightful surprise of my autumn trip to Northeast China was stopping at Haiping Farmhouse in Lüjiang Village. If you're also passing through Lüjiang Village, you absolutely must stay overnight at Haiping – it's a true gem! Getting from Lüjiang Village to Haiping involves a short drive along a small road, so fewer people visit, but the experience is far superior to that of Lüjiang Village itself. Upon arrival, the owner took us on a boat trip on the river, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful scenery and get a very close-up view of North Korea on the opposite bank. We even greeted some North Korean elementary school students who had just finished school. Back home, we had dinner of river fish that the owner had caught himself. That night, we even set fish traps in the river, and the next morning we ate freshly caught noodle fish. The two elderly people traveling with us were overjoyed. I highly recommend this amazing farmhouse – the scenery is breathtaking, and the owner is incredibly kind!

Standing on the balcony, you can put the sea of rapeseed flowers, Yalu River view and the village on the other side into your eyes, like living in a painting. The boss and clerk are very enthusiastic, responsive, and can help arrange play. Living comfortably and comfortably, I want to lie down in Lvjiang Village and see the beautiful scenery of the border. It is correct to choose this place. I have already recommended it to friends who want to come again!

Of course, outdoor camping inevitably has some emergencies, such as small bugs, bad nets, or broken electric curtains 😂 Normal heart ～ Since you choose camping, you can feel another life! The only uncomfortable thing is from breakfast. The breakfast is delivered by the eldest sister. It is very good. Each breakfast is heavy and full. But the two of us can't eat too much. We asked for a bowl of porridge, two steamed buns and some pickles. The eldest sister said that there are salted duck eggs. I said yes, the eldest sister asked a few and I said if I could come two. When the eldest sister was going to get it for me, a fat little brother next to her pulled his face and said no, he could give one. At that time, I was particularly defeated. Our accommodation, the electric curtains are broken, the net is broken, and there are small bugs. We all endured it because a salted duck egg depends on the face of people. Please standardize your breakfast, okay! If you can have one and a half salted duck eggs, please print them out and stick them in a clear position instead of asking us on the spot. Finally, say you can give one. If the boss wants to do service for a long time, he has to keep up. It is fun to spend money. It is not to see other people's faces!

The room is on the 2nd floor, with three beds upstairs and 2 downstairs. It feels a bit cold in autumn. The bathroom facilities are not very easy to use and the door is not locked. The restaurant is good, the service attitude is good, and the taste is good.

The location is also ideal for those wanting to visit the Great Wall as it’s just a short walk — took me 5mins to get there.
