My trip to Mangshi this time was quite a journey with a lot of twists and turns. My flight even took off and then returned to Kunming, but thankfully, I eventually landed successfully. I'm also grateful to the hotel for picking me up from the airport twice. I spent a long time choosing a hotel in Mangshi, and I finally settled on Liyin. I tend to prioritize the guest experience, and from my room, I could see the iconic Great Golden Pagoda. The hotel's butler was also very attentive, greeting me every time I came and went and recommending many restaurants and attractions that locals frequent. I highly recommend renting an electric scooter right outside the hotel; Mangshi isn't very big, so it's super convenient to get around. I hope I'll have the chance to visit Mangshi again, and I'll definitely choose this hotel.

The guesthouse is located inside the village, making it inconvenient to drive in and out. There are no parking spaces at the entrance, so cars have to be parked on the roadside in the village. Sometimes, when there are many cars parked in the village, you have to park quite far away to find a space. The cars are unattended, posing a safety hazard! The guesthouse doesn't have an elevator, so older people may have difficulty climbing up and down the stairs. Also, the drainpipe in the shower room is clogged, making it difficult to drain water, so you end up soaking your feet while showering. However, the owner and staff are quite warm and attentive. The only downside is that the tea canister they give you when you leave only has a little bit of tea left; it's unnecessary to give it to them, as it's a thankless task!

The reception was professional, and the staff was very helpful throughout our stay. For example when assisting us with the washing machine, as foreign tourists are unable to read the Chinese characters on the machine’s control panel. We also had an issue with the television and they solved it immediately. They also kindly helped us organize a taxi to Ruili. The room was very spacious and equipped with everything you need. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and soft. We especially appreciated that the window could be opened. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the water temperature remained stable at all times. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, including soups, vegetables, eggs, salad, congee, pastries, fruit, steamed dumplings, and various drinks. A big thank you to the entire team – we felt completely at ease and would highly recommend this hotel.

A very satisfying stay. The living room had a large lazy couch, and there were plenty of bottles of Nongfu Spring water available upon entering. The environment was pleasant, the front desk service was excellent, check-in was quick, the room was fully equipped, the bed was comfortable, the room had smart controls, and they even offered a free late check-out. It was excellent! 2. A very good B&B. The room came with mineral water and a gift bag containing laundry detergent, dental floss, cotton swabs, and disinfectant wipes. The room was spacious, bright, and well-lit, with complete amenities. The front desk service was excellent, and it was convenient for getting around, right next to a tourist attraction. Highly recommended. 3. Excellent front desk service. Clean and well-maintained, with meticulous attention to detail. The bed and mattress were very comfortable, the water pressure was strong, the water flow was fast, and the water temperature was comfortable. The shower was pleasant, the internet was fast, and there was a large TV. It was very reassuring, and the location was great. 4. The location is great, with convenient transportation. The room facilities were excellent. The room was very clean and tidy, the mattress was very soft and comfortable, the hot water came quickly, and everything was quite complete. They even provided free umbrellas and raincoats. The service was excellent and attentive, and the service attitude was great. I look forward to staying here again. 5. The service attitude was great. The style of the homestay is nice, the facilities are complete, there's a large swimming pool at the entrance, the lobby is spacious, the front desk service was excellent and attentive, check-in was fast, the room was clean and tidy, the internet was strong, the bed was large, the bathroom was clean, the shower was comfortable, the housekeepers were friendly and proactive, and parking was convenient. It was great.

The location is super convenient; it's about 10 RMB for a taxi anywhere. The front desk staff are warm and welcoming, always ready to help promptly. You can grab lemon slices and chrysanthemum-buckwheat tea bags from the lobby to make tea in your room, which is eco-friendly as you only take what you need. They also provide foot soak powder and a foot tub in the evenings, perfect for relaxing tired feet in your room – my elderly family members absolutely loved it. After landing and arriving late at night, we even enjoyed a few cocktails to kick off our exciting and enriching trip to Mangshi!

Room facilities: The beds are super soft. For those with back problems, I've checked – there are no firm mattresses available. The sliding bathroom door doesn't lock and doesn't even close properly, leaving a palm-width gap, which is quite bothersome. Wi-Fi: Terribly slow and constantly disconnects, even when just browsing social media. Service: Excellent. They added me on WeChat beforehand, making communication very easy, and even arranged airport pickup. Location and transport: Plenty of restaurants nearby, but it's not right on the main street, so it's relatively quiet. Restaurant: Quite mediocre; not much to eat, not even toast. However, there's a beautifully decorated viewing platform that's great for photos.

The first time I stayed in a youth hostel, the experience was full. The house is clean and has no smell and complete facilities. Roommates are very polite and interesting, usually everyone in the public area drinking tea, talking, not boring at all. The boss is also very enthusiastic and knows the local area very well. He took us to visit the local market and went to the village to catch up with many activities. In the evening, everyone went to dance the square dance together, and came back to ride a small eDonkey. The wind was cool and comfortable at night. Every day in Mangshi is very happy.

The breakfast is super delicious, the service is good, the room facilities are well-equipped, warm and comfortable, the balcony of the room is super large, there is a small bridge and flowing water, listening to the sound of running water to fall asleep, releasing all mental pressure, too comfortable! The hotel is surrounded by food and can't finish it at all. The boss also likes to drink tea and hand-made coffee. You can drink it in the hotel for a day. It is suitable for long-term living. I will stay here next time. The hotel also has tickets for the Silver Tower. My girlfriend and I went to check in.

The resort is spacious, with attentive service. We booked the Hot Spring Superior Twin room. The perks included were very thoughtful: the stocked mini bar, access to the hot pool, breakfast, and airport transfer. We communicated mostly via WeChat. Front desk was attentive, helping us arrange a daytrip driver to Ruili, and sorting out places to eat. Although the place is away from the city centre, it is equipped with a restaurant and massage parlor nearby. The closeness to the airport and the noise may be a concern for some.
