Stumbled upon this guesthouse online and decided to check it out before the May Day holiday rush. I was initially worried it might be a 'seller's show' (looks better in pictures than in real life), but it turned out to be 100% accurate to what was posted! Overall, a great experience. **Environment:** The guesthouse is set up like an estate, offering good privacy, so you're not disturbed by non-hotel guests or road noise. **Facilities:** The infinity pool in the room seems to circulate filtered seawater, which was very clean. It's perfect for taking photos at night when the lights are on, but it does shut off at 12 AM. There's also an outdoor pool on the first floor facing the sea. The minibar and fridge drinks in the room are complimentary, and all the amenities are of good quality. **Service:** The hotel staff were incredibly attentive. Right after booking, I immediately received a call from the owner. After adding them on WeChat, they confirmed my arrival time and whether I wanted the pool pre-filled, etc. Throughout my stay, I felt that all the staff had a great attitude. This is also a pet-friendly establishment. If you bring a pet, they provide a pet amenities kit with pee pads, diapers, disposable bowls, chew toys like Boryeongdan, and more. I brought my own dog bed, and they mentioned they also offer small beds. However, there's an additional cleaning fee for pets, which I didn't see on the booking page and only found out about upon arrival.

This stay was absolutely fantastic! The breakfast spread was amazing, with aromatic breads and authentic kway teow soup noodles that hit the spot. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and cozy. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and thoughtful; they even called ahead to check on our needs before we arrived. They also thoughtfully prepared kid's toiletries since we were traveling with a child, and we got to enjoy a lovely afternoon tea. The overall service was meticulous and attentive, and the value for money was excellent. Highly recommend!

The location is close to several restaurants and shops however, the building itself is looks very old and shabby from the outside. Once you enter the room though it is very aesthetically pleasing while the all white aesthetic is hard to keep clean. The couch looked a little old and dirty when you look closely but in pictures everything looks nice. There is a great cafe and steam bun place down the street for breakfast. It is a 10 minute walk to the harbor where you can walk and relax at night or stroll in the sun during the day. It is a 10 minute drive to Zuimei Beach which was very convenient. From the bridge it is about 25 minute drive, located right in the middle of the island. In general for the price we paid I felt it was totally worth it, the staff was nice, and they helped us park for free about a 5 minute walk down the street. They had toothbrushes in the room but also had an area to get other amenities like mouth wash, hair ties, bug spray, etc. They also had water that you can help yourself to. The best part? At the end of the night they delivered a bag with milk and heated eye masks before bed. This was unexpected and very cute. The room was very tidy and the environment was great, especially our sea view room. However, some maintenance is needed. The water pressure in the room was extremely low! The hot water would turn cold after a few seconds, then stop completely for a few seconds before returning to normal, and this kept repeating 😢. It would be freezing in winter. There's a small soaking tub in the room, but even after an hour of filling, the water only reached our ankles. Plus, the room let in a lot of light.

The staff were courteous, attentive, and eager to ensure a comfortable experience. The rooms were spacious, clean, and furnished with modern amenities that added to the overall comfort. The setting is perfect for relaxation, offering scenic views and a peaceful atmosphere. Overall, a luxurious stay at a fantastic location. The owners, a husband and wife, were very welcoming, and their restaurant served delicious food at a great price. The abalone was especially good, and the complimentary breakfast included a generous amount of shrimp in the noodle soup. The value for money was much higher than other guesthouses. However, the AI ​​assistant device for the room didn't reset the alarm beforehand, and it played music in the middle of the night, which was a bit scary. I hope this can be improved, and that the device can be adjusted after each guest checks out to prevent pranksters from taking advantage of the situation and to enhance the guest experience.

First of all, Boss Xiaolin is very enthusiastic and takes the initiative to introduce nearby bus routes, food, and tourist attractions. In addition to the standard quilt on the bed, I also asked to add a single quilt, and the boss readily agreed. The room is large and well equipped, and the bedding is great. You can see the sea when you stand in front of the window, and you can reach the beach in ten minutes' walk. The bus stop for entering the island is just downstairs, and the stop is called ”Tianyu Villa”. At the beginning of the lively Promenade. After entering the island, the bus passed by here first before heading to the town. Two stops away from the bustling visitor center. It is recommended for tourists visiting Nan'ao Island to stay here, you will not be disappointed.

We specifically chose the off-season to visit Nanao, so it was less crowded and more peaceful. The hotel room was clean, comfortable, and very relaxing. The butler mentioned that since it was the off-season, they upgraded our room type for free, which was a wonderful surprise! Eating out in Houzai is also cheaper during the off-season. If you want to avoid the crowds and enjoy a few quiet days by the sea, I highly recommend coming at this time, and staying here will make it even more comfortable.

The location is also a major highlight – conveniently situated near key attractions located at seaside , dining options, yet peaceful enough for a restful night’s sleep. It made exploring the area effortless, and I could easily return to the hotel for a quick rest before heading out again. The amenities are well-equipped, thoughtfully designed to cater to both leisure and big group of families. From the helpful lounge areas to the private big room, and in-room conveniences, everything was in place to make my stay both enjoyable and productive. Overall, my experience here was nothing short of excellent. It’s rare to find a place that delivers consistently on all fronts – service, location, and amenities – but this hotel truly does.
