"Overall it’s one of the better hotels in central Shanglin overlooking a man-made lake with a walk / run track around the perimeter. Close to night market and restaurants. Only reason I don’t give an excellent rating is that our first assigned room was dirty (sticky floor) and had some damage. We got moved across the hall and the second room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. Not sure why we were such a poor room when the hotel had plenty of rooms available. Breakfast buffet was satisfactory - good bowl of noodle soup and fried eggs available."

"The mountain roads are a bit winding and S-shaped. The inn is at a relatively high place, and it seemed that it took about 20 minutes to get there. The room facilities are very good, the swimming pool is cool with mountain spring water, and the wind on the mountain is quite strong, which is a good escape from the heat. Breakfast is relatively simple, egg porridge, side dishes, steamed buns and noodles. Dinner can be ordered a la carte and tastes good."

"The environment is clean and hygienic, the design concept is good, the layout is compact and reasonable, the swimming pool is not big enough, the mountain spring water is really ice, the dishes are delicious, although slightly expensive, but the weight is oversized, oversized! Average is still acceptable! Breakfast is not included, but the rice noodles cooked by the aunt are delicious and the price is close to the people, just order! Overall feeling very satisfied 👍"

"It is much larger than the triple room at the Hua～ Hotel in Shanglin last time, and the price is still expensive. The rooms here are mostly large and the bathrooms are large. At this price, the hygiene is really good, the quilt is quite clean, I have not lived here for so long on business trips, this time there are many people, there is no other choice in the Shanglin triple room, so I booked here, mainly because the parking space is also convenient for parking, you can try a single room next time, The only thing that is bad is that there is no elevator."

MMosemanThe hotel is located very far up a very small road. To gain access you must get past the guard who will confirm that you have a hotel reservation before he lets you drive up to the hotel area. There is very little parking at the hotel so plan to walk 500m with your luggage to get to the hotel. The hotel beds are stiff Chinese mattress beds. Most rooms had 2 double beds accommodating 4 people. The toilet is what you would expect for the price you pay. There is no food service in the hotel. There are several places to play in the water. We had a good time but probably we would not go back for a second visit.

SStef:)We loved every minute of our stay at My Forest Hotel. Welly and her husband met us when we arrived and helped us with our bags. The weather was rainy and misty all weekend but we were still able to have a beautiful walk to the river/waterfall. The food was delicious, we had Korean BBQ the Saturday night and it was lovely. If you are looking for a tranquil and quite place to get away for the weekend this is the perfect place.

GGuest UserThe boss was very nice and sent us to the mountains and countryside many times. Advantages: The location is high and very close to the mountains. At night, you can go to the rooftop terrace to watch the stars and blow in the wind. The parking lot is next to the visitor center of the mountain stream. The location is very suitable for putting things while swimming. What I want to eat in particular is that the B&B’s 10 yuan bowl of minced meat soup noodles in the morning is super delicious (it suits my taste). Disadvantages: We booked late, and there is no room type with a 270-degree window view. The internal facilities in the room are just average. .

The scenery on the mountain is unique, the negative oxygen ions are high, the room is comfortable, the sleep quality is good, the top floor can also look up at the stars, overlooking the super beautiful entire Shanglin County.
