GGuest UserThis is a very typical rural B&B, with a restaurant on the first floor and guest rooms on the second and third floors. The B&B is located in a village at the entrance of the scenic spot. Parking is allowed and pets are allowed. It is about 500 meters away from the former residence of the elders and the Bronze Statue Square. The owner's service is warm and the room is clean. The facilities are simple and outdated. The bathroom did not provide bath towels and there was no shower. The bedding may be too basic and make a twitching sound when you turn over. In Shaoshan in March, the temperature at night was very low, so I needed to turn on the air conditioner, but the sound from the outdoor air conditioner was loud, like a tractor. When I turned off the air conditioner, the same sound came from the outdoor air conditioners in other rooms, and the quilt was a little thin. Great choice for light sleepers. It’s okay to just pass by on a self-driving tour and stay overnight.

The room is tatami-style, clean and clean, sleeping at night is absolutely quiet, about ten minutes walk from the former residence of the bronze statue square.

Eating is also eaten in the restaurant on the first floor of the hotel, including breakfast and dinner, because there are not many places to eat nearby. Breakfast is to eat jar meat noodles/noodles, 10 yuan per person, plus 2 eggs. For dinner, the dishes are freshly fried, the seasonal vegetables are grown by the boss himself, very fresh, the characteristics are Mao's braised pork 58, boutique Mao's braised pork 108, the difference between the two is that the boutique sells better, the five layers of meat used will be better quality, both have been tasted, Personally feel that it is more cost-effective and delicious. The store can also buy the village's own fried tea, a bag of 500g80 yuan, drinking is OK, and friends have taken a few bags.
Tickets can also be bought by the boss, and locals have discounts. The most recall is that Lushanchong ** bought 218, and the boss 138 bought it for us. Lufeng ** is 89, and the boss is also the ticket for us at this price.
If you play, you go to the bronze statue square, the former residence, the life hall, the special museum, and the peak, and you also go to see the most memorable Lushan Chong stage drama. The bronze statue square will be controlled by the large holiday. The former residence, life and special topics need to be reserved for entering, but if you don't make an appointment, you will also let you in by queuing to swipe your ID card. This staff does not care. The peaks up and down the mountain are all by cable car, the open-air kind, which is more exciting and cautious about fearing heights. The most recalled Lushan Chong song and dance drama is the most valuable this time. The car is picked up and sent. The time is about 60-70 minutes. It is very infectious. Feeling at home, the boss took the initiative to provide free water, electricity, kitchen, cookers, and side dishes. The room was clean and tidy, and the environment was comfortable and quiet. GGuest UserThe couple running this renovated traditional home in Mao's home village are very attentive to guests' needs, even on the busiest day of the year, December 26th, Chairman Mao's birthday. My partner was coming down with a cold and got some ginger soup to drink. Additionally, when we screwed up our schedule and almost couldn't make our train out of Shaoshan, with no train available to reschedule, the couple arranged for the husband to drive us to the station for little more than gas money. It's up a slight hill from the other inns and allows one to get a bit of peace and quiet, again, even on the busiest day of the year, when Shaoshan is very worth a visit for anyone interested in Mao Zedong's legacy, given the number of Chinese people who show up to sing, dance, wave various flags and give speeches. Don't make our mistake and schedule the Chairman Mao memorial hall for a full visit instead of rushing though it. The exhibit is full of pictures and dioramas and has English captions for most things.
I also wish we'd had time to explore the pagoda on the hill behind the guesthouse.

GGuest UserThe owners of this place are the nicest people ever! Even though we did not ask, they gave us a ride to and from the train station as well as to Chairman Mao's former residence. The location is great, it would not have been a long walk but the ride made our visit even smoother. The hosts gave us Chairman Mao pins for free and made us delicious breakfast for a really cheap price. They truly are such nice people! They don't speak much English but I'm sure you would manage just fine with a translator app. The room was a great fit for us, two couples travelling together, and it had everything we needed. We only stayed for one night since there is not a whole lot to see in this town but we would have loved to stay for longer just because the hosts were so nice. I would definitely recommend this place! 谢谢你们对我们的悉心照顾!

The facilities in the room are very new, air conditioning, hot water, network are easy to use, comfortable and convenient to live. The hotel environment is quiet and tidy, the lighting is good, and the stay is very comfortable. The service attitude is particularly good, the front desk is warm and thoughtful, and the problems are solved in time. The sanitation is very clean, the bedding and bathroom are refreshing, and you can live with peace of mind. Downstairs is the pedestrian street, and travel is very convenient!
