Shaoshan Hotels with Parking

THE place to stay in Shaoshan. I felt like I was at home, tucked into a quiet wooded corner of town. They helped me organize my short stay, drove me around, and cooked up an excellent breakfast. They were great company and my only complaint is that I couldn’t stay longer. (The room was perfect; the pictures speak for themselves.)

The inn is very close to the Bronze Statue Square, which can be reached in a few minutes. If you have enough time, you can go to the Bronze Statue Square once in the morning and once in the evening. The experience is different. There are many people during the day, and it is solemn and ceremonial. There are relatively fewer people at night. Under the light, the leader's radiant image is more reflected. You can order food at the inn. The proprietress cooks very homely and delicious dishes. She also thoughtfully arranges a pick-up station. There is also a small pavilion and a swing at the door, which is very warm and a good choice.

Self-driving tour booked to live up to the light homestay, the boss and his wife are really kind and simple, warm and generous. This is a very typical rural B&B, with a restaurant on the first floor and guest rooms on the second and third floors. The B&B is located in a village at the entrance of the scenic spot. Parking is allowed and pets are allowed. It is about 500 meters away from the former residence of the elders and the Bronze Statue Square. The owner's service is warm and the room is clean. The facilities are simple and outdated. The bathroom did not provide bath towels and there was no shower. The bedding may be too basic and make a twitching sound when you turn over. In Shaoshan in March, the temperature at night was very low, so I needed to turn on the air conditioner, but the sound from the outdoor air conditioner was loud, like a tractor. When I turned off the air conditioner, the same sound came from the outdoor air conditioners in other rooms, and the quilt was a little thin. Great choice for light sleepers. It’s okay to just pass by on a self-driving tour and stay overnight.

Warm service! The sanitation is very good, the items are new and clean, the decoration is bright, the boss is hospitable, and the room price is cost-effective. It is worth staying. The only dissatisfaction is: the air conditioner doesn't seem to be cold enough in the middle of the night. I hope it can be improved.

A very good experience for our stay in Shaushan. The service is fantastic with free pickup and send off service.provided by the Inn's owner. The room is spacious, well kept and clean. The home cooked food was delicious at a reasonable price. I strongly recommend this homestay inn if you are planning for a Shaushan trip.

When I came, I didn't feel how the hotel was. I only found out when I entered the room. The hotel is clean, tidy, elegant, comfortable, warm and luxurious. The price of 2/3 hundred is really a conscience price. The space is also very large, very satisfactory. The lady at the front desk was also very welcoming, which was really nice. Very cost-effective. The owners of this place are the nicest people ever! Even though we did not ask, they gave us a ride to and from the train station as well as to Chairman Mao's former residence. The location is great, it would not have been a long walk but the ride made our visit even smoother. The hosts gave us Chairman Mao pins for free and made us delicious breakfast for a really cheap price. They truly are such nice people! They don't speak much English but I'm sure you would manage just fine with a translator app. The room was a great fit for us, two couples travelling together, and it had everything we needed. We only stayed for one night since there is not a whole lot to see in this town but we would have loved to stay for longer just because the hosts were so nice.
