Guest UserThis stay was fantastic and I highly recommend it to everyone! Our host, Minsu, was very welcoming and personally picked us up at the Ginkgo intersection. He also gave us plenty of recommendations for nearby attractions. The room was decorated in a simple and sophisticated style, very clean, and comfortable. Their large, high-definition TV was perfect for watching a movie in bed after a bath. The location is also great; Ginkgo King is just a five-minute walk away. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I'd definitely stay here again.

RosaMaryThe ancient town of Heshun is absolutely gorgeous, and we stayed at Leyin Inn, which has received zero negative reviews.
Leyin Inn has a superb location, right next to the Wanlouzi Residents' Museum, and right next to Hua Jie's Private Kitchen (opposite Hua Jie's is a small, unassuming shop run by elderly folks serving incredibly delicious home-style dishes). The innkeeper sent someone to pick us up and take us into the ancient town for free. After we bought tickets with our ID cards (valid for seven days, which was a great deal since I bought my boat tickets at the same time), they drove us all the way to the hotel parking lot. Keep in mind that Heshun Ancient Town has many ups and downs, and the ground is paved with bricks, making it difficult to push luggage around. The innkeeper kindly helped us with our luggage.
We booked a private hot spring room, which was great value for money. The original hot spring water from Rehai was brought over, and we told the innkeeper they would come and fill it with water.
Our child and the other children staying at the inn had a great time. We only booked one night, and they even gave us a free ride to the bus station. The service was truly excellent. We'll definitely stay at Leyin Inn again next time we visit Heshun Ancient Town.

We took our parents and children to Tengchong during the rainy season, and after careful consideration, we chose Yueyu Inn. We stayed for three days and were reluctant to leave; it's truly a hidden gem of an inn. My grandmother, a bit of a clean freak, raved about Yueyu's cleanliness. The courtyard, hallways, rooms, and kitchen were all spotless, a truly comforting sight. The bedding was Atour, very comfortable. Heshun Ancient Town is quite large, and the inn's location is perfectly in the center, convenient for both the east and west sides. In the afternoon, Li Ji's rice noodle stall opened, so we ate there and headed back! Next door is my fourth uncle's courtyard, practically the inn's backyard, filled with his decades-old volcanic plant treasures—a real eye-opener! The beautiful and charming landlady personally handled everything, helping us solve every problem. The auntie made breakfast for us every day, making us feel like family. She even saved the best food for us to try… So many wonderful things made us want to come back!

YawapaigongziguangWe've entered an idyllic haven where aesthetics and warmth coexist! This guesthouse completely captivated our entire family ❤️
From the moment we stepped through the door, our eyes were conquered by the fusion of Chinese and Western design aesthetics! The meticulously tended succulents, the chandeliers under the old wooden beams, the vintage leather sofas and oil paintings… every corner is like a carefully curated art gallery, every snapshot a masterpiece of atmosphere 📸
Even more delightful were the guesthouse's five cats 🐾. Their gentle nature instantly made them my son's best playmates. The little guy chased his ”furry butlers” all over the yard every day, his innocent laughter and the cats' purring becoming the most beautiful background music of our trip.
The common areas are veritable ”all-in-one living rooms”: wake up your taste buds with hand-drip coffee at the bar in the morning ☕, curl up on the sofa with the cats and read a book in the afternoon, and sing karaoke with friends in the karaoke room 🎤 or play cards at the card table 🃏 in the evening… Most surprisingly, there's a tranquil Buddhist shrine hidden deep within 🕯️! In the brief moment of quiet contemplation while burning incense, the hustle and bustle abruptly ceases. This collision of Eastern Zen and Western entertainment is a truly soul-stirring fusion!
This is far more than just a guesthouse—it's an aesthetically pleasing space where you can feel the warmth of human connection, a happy planet for children and cats, and an idyllic haven where everyone can find a sense of belonging. Highly recommended for design lovers, cat enthusiasts, families with children, and those seeking unique experiences!

The most satisfying two nights in Yunnan, I am more used to staying in hotels, but Fengli B&B is indeed the right choice!
Location: The taxi positioning is accurate. Behind the official hotel, there is a very quiet homestay area, and takeaways can be delivered.
Environment: clean, warm, emotional, willing to work hard in the details, sincerity is the boss's hospitality, every time I meet, I will greet you warmly ~
Facilities: The twin room has a large space, the bedding is super comfortable, the pillows kill most hotels in seconds, the central air-conditioning + wall-mounted air-conditioning, and the toiletries are dreamed back to college time in one second. Weight scales, sewing boxes, nail clippers, floss, masks, earplugs, etc. are available! There are two washing machines and one dryer in the common area, which can be used by self-service.
Service: Drinking water, soda, snacks, fruit are all provided free of charge. Breakfast is served in the small restaurant with sour seeds and sugar. There are freshly cooked bait silk and rice noodles. The coffee is delicious! Please ask the boss to arrange a car drop-off in advance, and received a warm souvenir on the day of departure.~
Because the itinerary is tight, we basically leave early and return late, and we have not been able to experience the slow life of the homestay, but it does not affect my determination to strongly recommend Fengli!

Nuangui Homestay
I sent emails to Nuangui via trip.com on 24 Nov and 30 Nov to arrange for complimentary pick up. I got no reply to my 2 emails.
I telephoned Nuangui via trip.com on 1 Dec before flying out to TengChong, a lady answered the phone, she insisted she didn't receive my 2 emails, but promised to arrange pick up.
When we arrived in TengChong we were picked up and dropped off at the entrance of HeShun and given a gps map sharing location and told to find our own way to the minsu after eating because their staff/boss refused to meet and greet us at the HeShun entrance. At the time it was around 9.30pm.
Despite the gps map sharing, we spent a long time walking around dark, narrow, quiet streets of HeShun looking for something to eat and then later the minsu location. In the end we couldn't find the minsu. There was no one around to ask for durections and it was quite dark and very cold. By around 11.15pm we finally gave up looking and called the minsu to come and find us and take us to the minsu. They only answered after a few minutes of calling. It was lucky we insisted on calling, we would never have found the minsu by ourselves.
The minsu itself was great, comfortable and clean. The location is convenient (when u know where it is and how to get there).
The minsu staff took our luggage all the way, from the airport to the minsu, which was very helpful, I wouldn't have made it to the minsu if I had to carry my own luggage because a lot of the HsShun streets are uneven, uphill and many steps.
The only hic up was the bath, originally we thought it wasn't working because there was no hot water coming out from the hot water tap. After 3 nights of stay, we later found out that the taps were installed incorrectly, C water tap meant hot water and the other way round.
Also, even though staying in minsu in HeShun, you still have to pay entrance tickets, that wasn't pointed out on the minsu details.

li_liwwezeOverall, this stay was absolutely fantastic! It was definitely a highlight of my Tengchong trip and I highly recommend it!
Having visited Tengchong three times, this is the best value hotel I've ever stayed at. From the hotel's decor and facilities to the service, everything is top-notch, and the price is very reasonable! It's especially suitable for family trips. The suite we stayed in was cozy and comfortable; it truly felt like ”coming home,” so pleasant and warm.
1. Facilities: The room had a private soaking tub and underfloor heating. Staying there in autumn and winter, especially when the ginkgo leaves turn golden, was incredibly comfortable. A hot soak instantly warmed me up and relieved all my fatigue.
2. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was impeccable. Being a new hotel, the attention to detail was excellent, absolutely impeccable.
3. Service: Every butler was exceptionally warm and attentive, providing professional and thoughtful service. The owner even personally monitored the service in the group chat, which was fantastic! A special shout-out to our butler, Xiao Tang! During our three-day chartered car trip, he was not only incredibly helpful and attentive, answering all our questions, but also proactively took photos for us and recommended daily attractions. He even scouted out locations beforehand, guiding us to avoid crowds and allowing us to see absolutely stunning and photogenic ginkgo trees. He was incredibly reliable! Furthermore, my brother and I are always forgetful, and he patiently helped us contact and find things for us. We are extremely grateful.
4. Living Environment: The neighborhood is quiet, the environment is green, and the air is fresh. We slept exceptionally well and soundly at night.
We'll definitely come back next time!

tiAmottThe room was quite spacious, but the bathroom facilities were a bit outdated. It's located on the edge of the ancient town, a bit far from the main area, so it's not recommended for elderly people with mobility issues. It's fine for young people, and you can even take a walk around Wild Duck Lake. The hot springs were okay, but perhaps because we went during the off-season, there were only two pools available, so the experience wasn't great when it was crowded. I highly recommend the nearby ”Mama's Taste” restaurant – it's incredibly delicious!

ONEONE623Environment: The hotel views are stunning.
Service: Bill, the duty manager, was very attentive, always checking if we needed anything, and the shuttle service was prompt. Definitely a thumbs up!
Facilities: The private hot spring in the room was cleaned very thoroughly by the housekeeping staff, and they explained everything clearly. We made sure to use it every day during our stay.
Hygiene: The room was also clean. Mostly, it's because the hotel is new, and I personally prefer newer hotels.
After a 10-minute walk from the hotel, we reached Longxia Stream, which also had beautiful scenery. The Teahouse Wudu also had a great vibe.
