Hotel was a nice and clean place where they equipped with telescope, soaps etc. and all kinds of helpful kits. However when the hotel called local taxi for me the driver charged me doubled price vs. As it should be. Cannot say it’s hotel’s fault but the service experience is not great from that beginning. Loved owner’s attention to details at home but service can be better

Stevie from HollandWhat an old hotel but clean and clean with super friendly and helpful staff
All large rooms and a good shower with hot water and hard radius
Breakfast also very delicious with fresh fruit coffee tea or hot chocolate milk and fruit drinks
The hotel is just outside the centre but you're not walking there so it's very close back but a little bit pity because you're gonna have to walk up against the mountain 😅

The hostel is very nice. There are spaces for parking, a nice kitchen area and a very nice and friendly staff. Laundry service is also available as well as several tours!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Montverde. Hotel Poco a Poco was a wonderful hotel, quaint, personal and beautiful. The location was great and we enjoyed the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. We did not use the spa service but did enjoy the walk through the gardens.

Aunque está en Sta Elena, si vienes sin coche, estarás bastante lejos de la zona donde está la mayor parte de restaurantes y tiendas. El personal es muy atento. En general, es un buen hotel para alojarse.

Otherwise amazing hotel plagued by rude staff and tour buses. First, this a hotel is used by Americans in bus tours - expect hundreds of them any given time. Second, the staff is incredibly rude. We had an issue with our keys and the reception employee, Ana Belen, refused to help us or even try to understand the issue. TV turned up by itself in the middle of the night. The toilet flush situation is terrible, there is simply no pressure. The good thing, hotel is nearby the Cloud Reserve, breakfast is good and pool looks good.
