I love Kiel Steigenberger Hotel! All fits perfectly, parking, breakfast (by far the best in Kiel), Room and Service. Been here many times. You can reach out by walk everything. Take the bigger rooms, like them more. Was there with Kids, and the spare sofa bed was also really high quality, not some cheap stuff.

The hotel is superbly located in the old town and the “experience quarter”. The hotel is beautifully designed.

Perfect location just few minutes walk from train station,reception is also 24hrs open,amazing views friendly staff highly recommended.

The facilities are good for a few nights. But if you want to pass the time watching TV in the evening, the single room would at least benefit from a more comfortable chair than the one in the dining room. Or you have to lounge on the bed. Whether the heating will still be warm enough to provide a sufficient room temperature when the outside temperature is much cooler (it was around 5 - 6°C)... Who knows? Of course I don't need 23° to sleep at night.

Maritim, a name known worldwide! this one very nice to the water, but the hotel for sure needs renovation of the rooms. Breakfast is very nice and also a nice pool inside. worst part was u get a room, with a kitchen, but all is missing in the kitchen.

You can go faster through the shopping mall on the other side of Kiel Hbf and go to the other side of the mall. It is convenient because the mall can pass relatively early in the morning. I lost my mind if there was an elevator. The building is relatively old, but it is comfortable because it is well cleaned, but unfortunately there is a mysterious step in the room. There is a veranda, but it is only separated by a low fence from the next door, so don't forget to close the door when you go out. There is an ashtray on the table so you can smoke.
