Corridor definitely had a weird smell, like damp or previously from smokers, maybe the room also. Breakfast was ok, nothing special, would have loved to have seen some extra options, like pancakes and waffles. One friend ended up waiting about 8 minutes for a fried egg. Bar was ok, first time ended up waiting nearly 10 minutes for someone to actually start servicing customers, no staff working behind there at the time. Overall ok, location ok, walkable into town.

I was a little bit disappointed staying at the Apollo hotel when I booked, i booked it for two adults and one child and when I got there there was only a double bed, they told me they would put in a single bed for me whilst I was out and when I got back to the hotel at 8:30pm there still wasn’t a bed they eventually at 10pm gave me a camp bed with springs missing for my four-year-old to sleep on I wasn’t happy, so in the end I ended up sleeping on the floor so my daughter could have the bed with her dad, it’s a real shame to see a hotel that I stayed in when I got married has gone downhill, there was a lot of dirty trays in the corridors on the way to the room, but on entrance of the hotel was beautiful,
