There are lot of hotels in Eastbourne, many cheaper than the Revilious. I chose the Revilious because of the favourable reviews and I wasn't disappointed. It really is a fabulous place to stay. We were made to feel very welcome. Our room was stylish, comfortable and well equipped. There was lots of choice for breakfast with an emphasis on quality. I'll certainly stay at the Revilious next time I visit Eastbourne.

Very clean rooms and comfortable bed. Breakfast was great, all cooked nice and fresh and plenty of it. I’d definitely stay again without a doubt.

The holiday is very clean, the space is large, the separate bathroom with a bathtub, and the infrastructure is perfect. The parking space is very sufficient. It is also very convenient to drive to the seven sisters Baiya. It takes ten minutes to drive and walk to the city for about ten minutes. There is a very delicious breakfast and a good stay experience.

The hotel is in a great location, about 12 minutes walk from the train station. The guy at the front desk was very enthusiastic and patient. It was already evening when we arrived. He still introduced us bit by bit. And the hotel is pet-friendly, and I saw a lot of cute dogs! !

Overall, it was a really good experience. The staff were really nice, and the location was great. The only downside was that there was no air conditioning, and opening the window gets the bugs in. The walls weren’t soundproof either, so I was woken by the neighbours chatting and laughing at 4 am.

Guest UserThis was a last minute booking as we were stranded with cancelled trains. Service was friendly and very good. Room was clean though there was a missing piece of carpet in room 19 by the radiator and the chair in the room needed throwing out. A very strong smell of **** outside of room 19, I presume someone was smoking in one of the nearby rooms which wasn’t pleasant. Shower curtain was moldy in room 110 but the beds were decent and quite comfortable. Lots of bedding and towels provided and tea/coffee well stocked. Bunk bed frame in family room 110 was very squeaky and kept us up. And wall outside of the bathroom had a massive crack up it and ceiling stained with unsightly brown marks. Overall not bad considering we were stranded and options were minimal.

Anonymous UserIt was located next to the pier and close the food places. Location wise 10/10. The room was spacious but the shower was not the cleanest. Hospitality and service was very nice

Guest UserGrand hotel on the sea front. We had a sea-view room with balcony which was very large and newly decorated, but the absence of any pictures or wall art made the room feel a bit stark. By comparison the bathroom was quite small and felt very cramped. Comfortable bed and seating, so all was absolutely fine for our one night stay. Enjoyed our breakfast in the formal dining room overlooking the sea front.

CinimodE-EFor the price I did not expect any more than a Travelodge quality, and I was not disappointed - it was a Travelodge quality, if anything the reception area is a bit below and the broken windows give the place a decidedly shabby appearance - there is not great kerb appeal.
Inside is definitely worn, and could do with a good refresh... however, we then got to the room and were very pleasantly surprised.
It appeared to be a newly refurbished room and the room itself and the bathroom were very pleasant - the broken window with card over it and the balcony with an old full carton of milk, was also not great. The room was hot, as there is no air con, the supplied stand fan did an adequate, if very loud, job of keeping the room cool enough to sleep in.
Overall, it was serviceable.
