Many guests praised its friendly staff and efficient check-in process. The hotel is close to Swallow or Brewers Fayre restaurants, which is convenient for guests to eat and offers a variety of breakfast options. Hotel nice but the beefeater for food was average. Breakfast not good and staff inattentive.

I stayed for 4 days, and the hotel staff were very helpful. I encountered two staff members who both had excellent attitudes. There was always someone available 24 hours a day. Breakfast was included, and even though it was the same 'all day breakfast' every day, food in the UK is quite expensive, so having breakfast provided was a great bonus. The only downside was the lack of a washing machine, so I couldn't do laundry. The location is about a 10-minute walk to the city center, which is quite convenient.

Situated very close to Ipswich train station. A very warm welcome by the owner. My room was at the front and there is a bit of train noise, but this didn't bother me. The room was spotless and very neatly presented. The shared bathroom seemed clean too.
