If I could add a few more stars, I would, the owners and the staff that are more than staff, they are family for us. Kind, helpful, always a smile in their beautiful faces. The food was amazing, we didn’t want to get any food outside of the hotel because of the good tastes. The rooms are perfect and clean, small cozy place to relax and close from the beautiful beach. Thanks to all of you at the Amazing Lombok Resort for making our stay so beautiful.

Nice villa in the jungle. Some part of the villa (specially master bathroom / open air shower is too open with a broken bamboo gate, it surely needs to be fixed and the lighting can be improved so it could be 5☆ and nicer; This Villa is so amazing & heart melting, Although the road is still very narrow & hard to go through specially at night, but living 3 nights at the villa is perfectly nice & comfortable. Only thing missing is TV 🤭

View: 4.5/5 Villa size: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Maintenance: 2/5 This villa is as big as it looks on their website with amazing view. However, it is quite rundown and needs a refresh, especially the toilet.  The toilet bowl has stains and the overall bathing area are mouldy. I understand we’re in the middle of nature but I would expect better maintenance. Plus the water pressure was low. Maybe it was the rainy season (it rains every evening/overnight), the area is filled with millipedes everywhere, the worst part is that they are in the villa as the doors/sliding doors have gaps. We’re fine if the insects stay outdoors but the millipedes enter our villa every single time and they appear at every creak of the villa. It was tiring trying to keep them out of the villa.  The redeeming factor for the villa is really the view, the Indonesian cuisine at Aura and their prompt service. The view is as amazing as you see on their website, if not more. And they have exceptional food at their restaurant and the service was superb. And yes, there are monkeys in the morning and evenings. The staffs will inform you upon check-in, to lock the doors and avoid eye contact.

ZamZam is a fantastic value! The hotel is simple and straightforward, but super comfortable. Selong Belanak beach is a bit further than I expected taking about 10 minutes to walk there from the hotel, but I rented a scooter easily enough to get around to some of the big surf breaks. I really enjoyed surfing at Serana and Mawi, which are both short and beautiful drives from the hotel. Tello the hotel manager is a super friendly, funny, and helpful man! His wife cooks delicious food as well! I liked it so much at ZamZam that I extended my original two nights and ended up staying eight nights in total!

If you want to go to Lombok, it is highly recommended to stay at this hotel. Access to the airport is very close, friendly service, clean rooms and delicious breakfast
