By chance, I visited when the annual pottery exhibition was being held. The venue was about a 3-minute walk from the hotel, so I dropped in and had a great time. The food was also delicious! I had always wanted to try seafood when I went to Amakusa, so I was impressed by the sumptuous sashimi. The building is old, but the rooms were well-cleaned and I was able to relax with peace of mind. The hotel staff were all very nice.

All the rooms were detached and maisonette-style, so we were able to enjoy the feeling of a very reasonable villa. Unfortunately, it was cloudy so we couldn't see the starry sky, but the open-air bath was amazing.

Both the exterior and interior of the building had a Japanese retro atmosphere, and I had a very enjoyable time. The staff were calm and polite. I was very satisfied with having the place to myself.

The hotel room was very spacious and clean. Our room faced the east and just next to the sea, so we could watch the sunset with sea view; it was very beautiful! There are men & women salt baths available for guests on the ground floor. There are ample car parking lots. Had breakfast just next to the sea! The spread was quite good with salad, rice, few local dishes, fish, soup, natto, etc. Dinner set meals with fish/sashimi were really fresh and delicious. We had a peaceful and happy stay. Staff were friendly, attentive and warm too. I was surprised to receive a souvenir when I check out!
