It is located in a mountain valley, so it is recommended if you rent a car to get there. If not, it is better to just go to Yufuin. Dinner was really plentiful as I heard, and breakfast was also satisfactory. Be sure to bring cash as cards are not accepted. It takes about 40 minutes by car to get to a convenience store where you can withdraw cash.

The onsen bunbigawa meal was ok.
It is quiet and you can feel the atmosphere of a Japanese ryokan.

The location is a bit remote and you need to take a tram. You can reach it by bus or taxi; the natural hot spring is worth experiencing. The hotel owner is very kind and the meal is delicious. In addition to the natural hot spring pool, there are 2 family styles to choose from. 👍

The environment is comfortable, quiet, and peaceful.
However, the facilities are rather basic, with limited choices.
Dinner needs to be booked 3 days in advance. There are no supermarkets nearby, so you have to drive to town to buy takeout.
The open-air bath is excellent; you can see the stars at night.

For foreigners, there is English service and it is very friendly and friendly. The location of the hotel is very close to the Jiuzhong Mountaineering Pass, which is ideal for people who like hiking.
