It was close to the station and there were plenty of places to eat nearby. I looked for a hotel near Takasaki Station, but perhaps due to the inbound tourism, all I could find were single rooms over 10,000 yen on weekends, so I decided on Suzuya Hotel. I saw in other reviews that there was no washlet, but I thought it would have been nice if there was. There were plenty of manga, so it was great for a solo stay.

The hotel is in a good location, the parking lot is free, the room is spacious and comfortable, the place is clean, the hotel staff are polite and friendly, I will stay again if I have the chance. It is worth recommending

recently stayed at the Route Inn Takasaki Hotel, and it was a delightful experience. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making check-in a breeze. My room was spacious, impeccably clean, and offered a stunning view of the river. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities provided, including a well-stocked minibar and luxurious toiletries, added a nice touch. The hotel's restaurant served delicious meals, and the breakfast buffet was varied and satisfying.

PPengenUsing Google Navigation to navigate to the hotel's location leads you to a one-way street going the other way. Otherwise, the location is excellent, and the parking lot is ample. The facilities are excellent for a three-star hotel, with all the basic amenities expected, and even a microwave in the hallway, which is a very thoughtful touch. The entire process is largely unmanned, including check-in. The service staff at the restaurant were very friendly.
