This is a proper hotel, not a motel. The breakfast is excellent, the facilities are great (there's a gym), and the rooms are good. There's even a clothes freshener. There's a slight new-building smell, but it's much better than a motel smell. It's the best in Hyeonpung.

Great location! Just a short walk from Dongdaegu Station and many well-known eateries. I felt truly welcomed during my stay — a special thanks to Ann, front desk for her kindness. She even wrote a thoughtful welcome card wishing me wonderful memories in Daegu.
Although there were a few small inconveniences, the friendly smiles and excellent service from Ann and the rest of the staff made my stay outstanding. I happily give this hotel 5 stars and hope to return in the future again!

120yuanThis hotel is in a lively area of Daegu, right next to the Yangnyeongsi market. There's a Haidilao and a 7-Eleven downstairs, and Dongseong-ro is nearby. However, you'll need to take the subway to get to Dongdaegu. Overall, I was very satisfied. Even though the hotel was busy every day, breakfast was never an issue; there were always plenty of seats. They had sukiyaki beef and radish beef soup, which was quite a good spread. The room was spacious enough to open three suitcases without a problem. My only minor complaint is that the air conditioning was very strong and made me feel a bit dizzy. Remember that hotels in Korea typically don't provide toothbrushes and toothpaste, so bring your own.

The house is easy to find thanks to the neon sign, it is peaceful and located 15 min away by walking from the shopping and restaurants area. It's an old traditional house very well maintained with a beautiful Korean garden in the midst of a scooter repair shop neighborhood, which makes it quiet at night. The rooms have AC and have beautiful wooden panels. The bedding is comfortable with a double futon. The pillows are a bit too hard though on the neck. The bathroom is clean. They provide shampoo and soap amenities. Coffee and tea you can help yourself with in the shared kitchen. The owners work quite hard to make it welcoming and were helpful in providing touristic information about the city. We had a wonderful stay and recommend it to any families looking for a soothing and peaceful stay in a traditional yet modern setting.

The bedding was top-notch, and the room was incredibly clean. For such a reasonable price, it even included a simple breakfast. Plus, the hotel had a lovely scent!

Swimming in the winter infinity pool was the best, exceeding my expectations.
The room was clean, and the bedding was comfortable and nice. I would love to stay here again on my next trip.
The cafe next to the lobby is friendly, but... the coffee taste is a bit underwhelming.
There are good food options down the hill, and it's close by.
The hill was tiring though, haha. The view of Suseong Lake is great, too. 💕

Anonymous UserThe receptionist didn't speak English but was very polite and tried to communicate.
A simple breakfast was provided, and bottled water was unlimited.
The soundproofing was slightly poor.
It was very clean; the room I booked had a bathtub, bathrobes, and a Korean-style clothes organizer (styler?).

I loved the hotel, although I got a little confused with the self-check-in. The room was very clean, with air conditioning, a refrigerator, a private bathroom, Wi-Fi, and coffee in the morning. It's very well located, and the feeling of security is unparalleled. I only saw staff on the last day, but everything was spotless, and the service at the end was fantastic. I highly recommend it.

The hotel is more like motel. The location is only 3min walk from train station exit2 and go down stairs turn left walk straight. If you want go to city centre need to walk cross train station about 10-15min. Room is very big for the price you pay is reasonable.
