Jelutong Hotels with Parking

This was my mother's first time traveling abroad, and we chose Malaysia. I hastily booked our first night's hotel just the day before we left. It's an apartment-style hotel with all the modern comforts, and as my mom put it, it felt just like home. The water dispenser offers hot, warm, and cold water, which was perfect for my mom who's used to drinking hot water. The view from the window was also lovely, highly recommended. Now for the main part – I really need to thank the host, a super warm-hearted Chinese lady. It had been a long time since I'd traveled internationally, and I hadn't been able to exchange Ringgit in China. When I arrived at the airport, I realized I couldn't withdraw any cash, and I completely panicked, trying not to show it in front of my mom. I messaged the host, and she immediately replied saying she'd bring some money the next morning. She exchanged the currency for me at the real-time rate. When she heard we wanted to go to Penang Hill, she even drove us to the foot of the mountain. After we checked out, I realized I'd left my neck pillow behind, and she drove it all the way to our new accommodation. All the food places she recommended in Penang were fantastic and very affordable, and I managed to try most of them. The host said she didn't help me much, but for someone traveling with an elderly person in a foreign country, it was an immense help. That's why I have such a great impression of Penang. The next time I visit Penang, I'll definitely stay at her place again, and I highly recommend it to everyone coming to Penang!

Here’s a summary feedback about my stay: Unsatisfied : 1) There is some hiccup on the check in process. Arrived late for check in and found out the access card was not in the mail box for collection (as per instruction guide). But the owner of the property took an effort to arrange a trip within 30mins to handover a pair of substitute access cards. Although some delay but have to give some credit to the owner on making the effort to solve this problem. 2) Sunday check out is a nightmare 😱 This building is very high density. It took me and my family 30 mins to finally get a lift from my unit floor go down to the car park. Would recommend you plan your time wisely. Satisfied : 1) The view for this unit is absolutely beautiful. All the 2 bedrooms and living room has a huge glass window and it’s facing sea view with the Penang bridge! 😍 2) Cleanliness is by far one of the best in the list among all the air bnb stayed before. 😍 3) Location is great for those who have car. It may take about 10-15mins drive to the Georgetown area. 4) Convenient stall is available at the lobby of the building. 👍🏻 5) Very responsible and responsive 👍🏻 Overall it’s really a nice place to stay for family with 8 pax. Would recommend to friend and families to stay this particular unit! 👍🏻

Very much satisfied for the price. House looks News clean and it was so comfy to stay . We even fry sausages chicken for dinner. Nice view as well. Smart tv makes it more entertaining. Only thing is we understand we have a certain time to chcek out. So if the times up the hotel should call or text and chcek with customers . Here we got house keeping rghti infrnt the door knocking and trying to open with keys . We might be in a rush just aftr shower or something . Late check out simple just charge for that . Sebding in ur ppl right infrnt the door step knocking and trying to get in is actually kinda scary and I don’t feel safe at all. Kinda dissapointed only in this matter. Otherwise it was great stay . Superb apartment, I wholeheartedly recommend it! Every detail has been thought of. Everything completely matches the description! The hosts are always available. The pool is clean and warm!

The house was clean and tidy. The location was very convenient and it is near to most of the place that i wanted to go. The carpark was just in front of the lift so it was super convenient if bring along elderly, because no need to walk to far to the lift. I wound definitely recommended this to my friends and familys. I definitely be back here again.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with anything I needed. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I could ask for. The location was perfect—close to everything yet quiet enough for a peaceful rest. Truly a five-star experience, and I would definitely stay here again!

Very recommended for outstation and couple for a casual stay

Check in process is challenging, although instruction is given clearly, need to go up to the unit and collect the key and access card then only can access to car park for parking. Room is spacious, design is good, but it is already quite old, pillow case and bedsheet was unchanged. Downstairs room aircond not working with orange light blinking, as a result I have to shift the fan over. TV no tv channel.No towel and toothbrush provided, and worst there's no proper stand to store the toiletries at the shower area, shampoo and body shampoo were putting on the floor. Location is very good with many restaurants and cafes at ground floor. Overall I feel it not worth of the price for staying, should have put more effort to well keep the unit maintenance.

The hotel management is good they do the room cleaning service on time and overall the room are spacious and air condition with free wifi and hot and cold water is also there

The accommodation matched the description. It might be a bit old, but the price and room were as depicted. It's right by the sea, very beautiful, and close to restaurants, making it a great community hub. The check-in and key collection process seemed a bit confusing at first, but it wasn't difficult.
