I had a very pleasant stay at Star Hotel Inn Alisa. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, making the check-in process smooth and easy. The room was very clean, well-ventilated, cool, and comfortable, with a warm and homely feeling.
The location is very convenient, with many food options nearby. There is a 99 Mini Market right next door, which is very helpful if you forget to bring any personal toiletries or daily necessities.
In the evening, the outdoor area is cool and breezy, making it a nice place to sit and relax. At night, the room was quiet and not affected by traffic noise, so I slept very well.
Overall, it was a great experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Muar, especially for short stays or visiting family.

AAnonymous UserThe environment is peaceful and relaxing, located near the sea with fresh air, great for a picnic or just to unwind. The staff were kind and helpful, especially when we had issues with our rooms. The rooms we first received were quite small, and the water stopped running a for a while, but after I reported it, the management quickly changed us to different rooms, which I appreciated.
One thing to note is that thereâs no on-site restaurant or nearby place to buy food, youâll need to order online or drive around 10 minutes to get meals. Overall, itâs a nice place for a quiet getaway with friendly service, but the rooms and basic amenities could be improved.

Highly recommended for anyone who just needs a place to rest and relax without the bustle of sightseeing. And very convenient street food at glutton street and the Bentayan food court nearby.
Lastly, May I suggest savoury instead of sweet snacks in the dining room on the ground floor.

Ttehteh101This hotel offers a fantastic experience overall. The basic amenities are all there, and the service is great, making it a perfect spot for extended stays. Its convenient location means you can easily walk to Muar town center for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

JJL Food n TravelSpacious room with a clean bathroom. Shampoo, body wash and toothbrush are provided. This is a river view room and the location is convenient! Around 5 minutes walking distance to Food street Jalan Haji Abu and street art. There is many banks and convenience stall nearby too.
No fridge in the room but that fine for me. Staff are friendly and basement parking available but limited spaces, roadside parking is fine.
Will come back again, thank you!

WWinson06Hotel is on the 2nd floor. Reception is on the 2nd floor. Staff at the front desk was nice and polite. The person replying to WhatsApp should not be in customer service. Room of the hotel is really small. We donât even have space to pull out a chair. I would suggest to remove the chair altogether.
There were parking lots around the hotel but youâd have to pay for parking using an app. The front desk will teach you what to do.
Location of the hotel was good. Quite a lot of shops including Chagee, Starbucks, Mr DIY and many food establishments in walking distance.

AAnonymous UserUsed to be one of my favourite budget hotels in Muar, the accommodation is comfy and quiet with affordable price.However cleanliness wasn't really good nowdays. The best is FREE roadside parking spaces available. Recommended for budget traveller!
