Franz Josef Hotels with Parking

We were greeted with warm hospitality by the owner Angela when we arrived to check into Franz Josef Oasis. The executive king suite room was clean, cosy and spacious. We enjoyed sitting on the sofas with warm blankets place for our comfort near the fireplace. The location of this place is also good as it 5 minutes drive to the town where we had a delicious dinner at Blue Ice Restaurant and Bar which was recommended to us by Angela. The service is excellent and I will definitely recommend this place to those who are travelling to Franz Josef !

Great motel stay with lots of space for our family of 4. It was an orange alert bad weather warning day and our helicopter trip was cancelled, so we stayed in the room and played games as a family, and did laundry!

Came in the middle of rainy winter and cold cold temperature. The place is very comfortable. Equipped kitchen as well.

Overall it was a particularly good choice near the fox glacier, and all the rooms were fully booked on the day. The cabin is equipped with the kitchen utensils needed, but there is no dishwasher. The only fly in the ointment is that there is a bathroom, which is used in line, but overall it is the best choice.

Quick and efficient check-in. Great location for both Franz Josef glacier, and glow work tunnels. Host very informative. Very close to a good restaurant (Alice May). Cottage was clean, tidy, and warm.

Next door to the hotel is the Alice May restaurant, a little further down the road there are different restaurants and supermarkets, and shops that book a lift to see the ice . Private cars can be parked at the door of the room for easy loading and unloading of luggage. Cooking utensils are complete. The mattress is softer and it may be harder to fall asleep if you are not used to it.

A beautiful area just outside of Franz Josef. It's nearby the road, so you may get some traffic noise. Other than that, it was a quiet and restful night there. We could see the milky way at night! We had a studio, so no kitchen but a microwave was available. There's a laundry as well. Wifi was good. The manager was very friendly and allowed us to fill out campervan with water.

A bit far from the central of town . But if you have vehicles. Forget this . Reception is a bit hidden. We been there cold seasons, planning to go Josph glacier. But due to bad weather conditions we left early than we planned . No comment for the service s. Bcos they don’t have services .

Overall good, the location is not easy to find!

The law-abiding backpacker hotel, we stayed for two days, the two-person room did not have a separate bathroom, but was assigned to a house, just no other guests, we will have that one. The saloon can also ~ the kitchen also provides basic pots and pans, etc. ~ Advantages, there is a complimentary breakfast, and there is a hot soup in the evening, although they are all the same thing! And parking is convenient! Disadvantages, I don't know if we are on the side or not, I can't even get wifi, I just ran to the saloon, and there was a bit of noise when it rained, because the roof of the corridor is iron, but the room is not, barely Not too noisy.
