Hamilton Hotels with Parking

The accommodation was modern, immaculately clean, and provided a high level of comfort. The cleaning staff excelled, delivering service that surpassed expectations. Overall, the experience was positive. However, it would have been beneficial to be informed in advance that the check-in office is located offsite, requiring approximately a 4 minute drive from the main premises. This information would have streamlined the arrival process.

Reception was very friendly. Staff was helpful and friendly. However there is no breakfast included here sadly. There do have a gym thou in this place. Gym was equipped sufficient to work out basics stuff. Room wise its clean and huge, kept good and maintenance well. Parking was also convenient to get to room and its near. Generally hotel is a little age and might be nice to get an upgrade.

This was our second stay at Hygate. It's in a great location close to the city. The units are quite spacious, beds are really comfortable and everything else we needed was provided.

The rooms were excellent, comfy bed, had everything we needed receptionist was friendly and helpful, excellent value for money, will be back to stay next time we are passing through.

The rooms near the road are a bit noisy at night! Service: Very good👍👍The front desk lady is very friendly! Environment: OK! The rooms near the road are very noisy! Sanitation: Very good👍👍 Facilities: Complete! Breakfast🍳 is a cold meal of bread, fruit, yogurt and juice. I don’t like hot food!

Facilities are all good and decent. Management staff were helpful with checkin process which is complex.  Motel itself doesnt have its own reception but checkin is at different motel which is 2-3 minutes away. The only disappointment we had in our stay was the cleaners turned up well before 10 am, knocked on door and straight away entered into room while we were in there to question when are we leaving. Very disappointed with this approach of cleaning staff and they should not walk into room at all without consent. Management needs to set some expectations with cleaners. Apart from that all good.

stayed here because its essentially the only backpackers in hamilton.. The place really lacks privacy - there's no separation curtains on the beds in the room so feels very open, no separated bathroom- all in the same room, but at least the toilets have gendered signs on the doors.. would prefer more separation since the men's and women's are all next to eachother. Owner and/or cleaners would come into the rooms without knocking. My bed had the AC directly above it and it was kept on all night, quite drafty. Had a decent kitchen and community area, and good location though.

Enjoyed my one night stay on a Thursday night in October. Room - Superior Queen #110. $92 nzd. Pros -Cheap -Comfy mattress -Great location -Clean -Spacious room and bathroom -Heat pump which was on when i arrived which kept the room at a comfy temp. -Kind front desk woman on arrival. -Old world architecture. Cons -Noisy heat pump (albeit grateful there was one) -No sound insulation so can hear footsteps easily. -Bed was 2 x singles pushed together and had to sleep either side of the gap. Tip - book a superior room type. It's my experience these are better quality. When you book the lead in room category (deluxe) they're cheaper for a reason. I would return but not on a Friday or Saturday as the sound of the street noise and night clubs would be heard easily. Thanks for a nice stay.

When l arrived at the Motel l found out that when l was doing the booking l should have taken note that there is no reception on site. When l rang the purported site the call was not a friendly one.I took an uber to collect the keys .And soon as l opened the door to my room which was room 9 l was discombobulated. It appeared no house keeping had been done prior to my moving in.The bins were all full of rubbish. The bedding had not been changed .Two McDonald’s empty drinks by the sink area. Two cups and a spoon in the sink see photos.I was then moved to room 7 which appeared to be clean but that inconvenience made me enraged😡

My stay at Alcamo Motel was overall pleasant. The staff were friendly and the check-in and check-out process was smooth. The location is convenient, close to the city center of Hamilton, with plenty of parking available. However, the facilities felt a bit outdated, which was slightly disappointing. With some renovations, this place could definitely attract even more guests. Overall, a decent stay for the price.
