Review of La Jolla Resort (April 17–19, 2025) ⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆ (3/5) We stayed at La Jolla Resort during Holy Week (April 17–19, 2025), and while there were definite highlights, a few issues kept it from being a five-star experience. What we liked: - The food was excellent—everything we tried was delicious and well-prepared. - The resort grounds and our room were clean and well-maintained, which made for a relaxing atmosphere. - Staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. - We appreciated the Holy Week activities, which added a nice, thoughtful touch to the overall stay. What could be improved: - The shuttle service was extremely disappointing. Delays were poorly communicated and ended up making us late for an important commitment. - After check-out, we hosted some guests for lunch, but we were only allowed access to the day tour area, which felt like a downgrade—especially after being paying guests. A bit more flexibility here would’ve gone a long way. - Our bathroom had some plumbing issues, which was inconvenient and not what we expected given the overall cleanliness of the room. La Jolla definitely has its strong points—particularly the food and staff—but the logistical hiccups and lack of guest accommodation after check-out need to be addressed to deliver a truly premium experience.

2nd time to go here with the family and it always offers the peace you'd be looking for and cannot find in other resorts. The place is secluded and perfect for those who really want to just have the time off - doesn't matter if you're a couple, a barkada, a family, or even a backpacker/solo traveler. This place is so serene and everywhere you look, you'll find its oneness in nature. The accommodations are both imbibing the nature and modernity. You might just find mosquitos especially if your room/accommodation is nearby the plants and trees but given the place's nature, it's quite expected. So, just be prepared with a repellant or lotion to save yourself from mosquito bites. Again, the place is great and truly fascinating; however, the food (menu selection) in their restaurant is somewhat limited. Nothing special. I hope that they work on improving the food as it adds up to the experience in the cove. Regardless, we enjoyed our stay and will still be back in this place.

We booked last minute during Holy Week and was pleasantly surprised to have discovered this place. Initially thought we had just booked 1 room with a common area with other guests but it was actually the entire place with complete kitchen, living and dining room with a huge balcony and 2 full bathrooms. It doesn’t have any other amenities yet but heard they are in the works to construct more rooms, a gym and a pool in the building beside it. It was also such a welcoming treat to have an elevated Filipino restaurant downstairs where we had dinner on both nights. Just note that it opens late at 9am-10am so if you intend to have early breakfast, that won’t be the place for you. Best to just cook in the apartment 👍🏼

Located in a neighborhood of dirt roads, but it is is well marked, we never felt unsafe even though we were conspicuous tourist arriving late at night, and the property itself is walled & gated. Absolutely no communication/response with anyone from the property despite our multiple attempts to contact before hand to inform of delays & late arrival. However, the couple were ready to open the gate for us within minutes of our arrival, were welcoming & helpful, and provided a WhatsApp contact on arrival and were responsive to our messages during our stay. Easy check in friendly staff, smoking area is situated on the 3rd floor balcony. Breakfast is fried egg with rice along with fresh fruit and bottle of mineral water. Lots of takeaway places outside for food. WIFI IS available in the rooms although site says only public areas. Youtube and Netflix is on the TV but couldn't access the cable TV. Clean room and fresh linen. Fridge is available along with towels, body wash and shampoo. Toothbrushes and tooth paste aren't available.

Had a relaxing stay at Coralview Beach Resort in Bataan! The food was great, with generous servings at affordable prices. A must-try is their halo-halo—it was really refreshing and delicious! The beachfront location was perfect for a peaceful getaway, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The Quad Room was spacious and comfortable, but one issue was the bathroom design—there was no drain on the other side, causing water to overflow. Hopefully, they can improve this. Overall, it was a good experience, and I’d still recommend the resort for a budget-friendly beach escape! 🌊☀

The location is beautiful, wonderful view and nice pools. The standard villa is very spacious with a nice large balcony. The room is clean. The place looks without proper maintenance, feee breakfast you get almost nothing and dinner is ok and bot overpriced. The near river is nice but it is not suitable for people without breath doing 700 stairs and not abble to walk on rocks.

Staff are kind and considerate.The food at the restaurant are good too and we enjoyed the jet ski and banana boat.Both swimming pools,they call it salt water and the other is fresh water are both warm water.The sea is warm and clean aswell so enjoyed to the max.

Overall, our stay at the resort was pleasant with clean beach and pools and friendly staff. They also allow outside food and drinks. However, I was disappointed by the lack of cleanliness in the restroom, the weak water supply in the room's shower, and the high prices of food. Despite their adorable presence, it's concerning that the dogs are drinking from the pool, which raises hygiene concerns.

It would have been better if there is housekeeping schedules everyday and the phone in the room is working. Also, the booking said there are slippers in the room, unfortunately, there are none. But all in all for our stay, it was good. Thank you.
