What I noticed right away was how genuinely friendly the staff were. Every time we entered or walked past the front desk, we were greeted with a smile or a kind word. It’s such a simple gesture, but it created this feeling of being looked after, as if we were more than just passing guests.
A Location That Balances Quiet and Convenience
The hotel’s setting struck the perfect balance—peaceful and quiet, yet still so easy to get into the city center. It felt like we had the best of both worlds: calm evenings by the water, and the city’s energy just a short ride away.

From the hotel, the view stretched across the skyline and the water, and it was just lovely. Whether it was morning light reflecting off the buildings or the soft glow in the evenings, those views gave the place a special atmosphere that I won’t forget.

__M1397716****I've stayed at Scandic's hotels for many years. They're a bit pricey, but the facilities are good. There's paid parking for 360 SEK. It's very close to the central train station and across from the Co-op supermarket. I encountered a massive traffic jam on my way there, as there were road construction works around the hotel. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. There was no kettle in the room, but everything else was good.

MMelvin_NgI was staying on 8-9 september for 1 night. Facilities in the hotel are surprisingly good and the sauna was perfect. Room are nice and tidy. Toilets are a bit small but its clean and have everything you need. The breakfast have a wide range of selections with hot and cold plates. Specially appreciate Susanne, Iren & Andita showing us useful informations in the area by patiently answering our questions and showing exceptional Standard of customer service. Will be staying in the same hotel if I'm travelling to Sweden again.

Being just a short, pleasant 10-minute walk from the central station was incredibly convenient. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready with a smile. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient, and any queries I had were addressed promptly and with genuine care. One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the breakfast. The spread was impressive, offering a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. From fresh pastries and bread to a selection of hot dishes, cereals, fruits, and yogurts, there was something for everyone. The quality of the food was also noteworthy, making for a delightful start to each day. Overall, the Scandic Göteborg Central offered a comfortable and convenient base for my time in Gothenburg. II-Ping Neal HsiehVery historic hotel. The building is beautiful inside and outside, with ulterior motives. There are many retro furniture and furnishings inside, and the atmosphere is great.
The interior of the room is fully equipped, and the wooden furniture used is also very antique, which matches the image of the hotel. Don't use a modern room card, but still use a copper key, which is very weighty in your hand.
The breakfast in the hotel is very rich. It is recommended to watch the meal provided before starting to eat. Breakfast recommended lettuce bagel salmon meat, very delicious. In addition, there is a 24-hour hot coffee, which is quite intimate. After going out, you can have a cup of hot coffee in the beautiful lobby to warm up.
The best thing is the location, just beside the central station, just across the road, the traffic is in all directions, the bus stop to the airport and the central station together, and you can reach the airport in half an hour.
If you come back to Gothenburg, you will definitely stay at this hotel again.
