What I noticed right away was how genuinely friendly the staff were. Every time we entered or walked past the front desk, we were greeted with a smile or a kind word. It’s such a simple gesture, but it created this feeling of being looked after, as if we were more than just passing guests.
A Location That Balances Quiet and Convenience
The hotel’s setting struck the perfect balance—peaceful and quiet, yet still so easy to get into the city center. It felt like we had the best of both worlds: calm evenings by the water, and the city’s energy just a short ride away.

From the hotel, the view stretched across the skyline and the water, and it was just lovely. Whether it was morning light reflecting off the buildings or the soft glow in the evenings, those views gave the place a special atmosphere that I won’t forget.

Between the quiet setting, the beautiful views, the comfort of the room, and those daily warm greetings (especially at breakfast), the hotel managed to feel both professional and genuinely personal.

GGuest UserThis is a great place to stay if you are having a child-focused holiday. Its also a cool place for adults too. The bunk beds are great. The rooms are dark at night which is great because the sun never goes down in the summer. The breakfast was amazing—one of the best breakfasts I've had anywhere in the world. The bathrooms are spacious. The hotel is really new. The attention to detail in all aspects of decor and thoughtfulness of what makes a good customer experience have been considered. It connects to the theme park which is easy and great. The rooftop bar is cool. I would staff there again and recommend it to anyone. The only thing that could have been better would be a spot to drop luggage, there is no easy car access to the front door.

The interior of the room is fully equipped, and the wooden furniture used is also very antique, which matches the image of the hotel. Don't use a modern room card, but still use a copper key, which is very weighty in your hand.
The breakfast in the hotel is very rich. It is recommended to watch the meal provided before starting to eat. Breakfast recommended lettuce bagel salmon meat, very delicious. In addition, there is a 24-hour hot coffee, which is quite intimate. After going out, you can have a cup of hot coffee in the beautiful lobby to warm up.

One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the breakfast. The spread was impressive, offering a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. From fresh pastries and bread to a selection of hot dishes, cereals, fruits, and yogurts, there was something for everyone. The quality of the food was also noteworthy, making for a delightful start to each day. Overall, the Scandic Göteborg Central offered a comfortable and convenient base for my time in Gothenburg. Its perfect location near the central station, coupled with the great service and delicious breakfast, made for a memorable and enjoyable stay. AAnonymous UserSuper great hotel! It is recommended to book a superior room of 30 square meters, which is really large in Northern Europe. It is very cost-effective. The superior room has enough space to separate the bathtub and shower. It has double sinks and is very comfortable overall.
The toiletries have a very special smell, and the Chinese character ”Jing” on the bottle is very friendly. The hygiene is very good, and the cleaning staff is also very easy to communicate with. Even if the room is full of people on weekends, the cleaning is very fast!
The breakfast is good. There are free coffee machines on each floor, milk plant milk, as well as croissants, sandwiches, and snacks for you to enjoy. This is very special! You can enjoy the centuries-old castle architecture without leaving the hotel!

I arrived at 11 a.m., so I tried to leave my luggage, but I was able to check in in the morning.
The staff were all friendly and well equipped with amenities such as gym, washing machine, breakfast buffet and restaurant.
It was a little unfortunate that the breakfast menu did not change during my stay for about a week, but the taste was good.
