Lung Tsang
The hotel is located in walking distance from Songkhla old town/night market, and refurbished out of an ancient if not heritage building. It showcases the beauty of Thai Chinese interior design: every single display item brings back lots of nostalgia from the good old rosy days. The only drawback is the sound insulation as I could hear the convo from my fellow visitors next doors during my stay and also the sounds from outside (cat meows and roosters singing). Luckily i had my ear plugs so still managed to sleep. It seems the rooms on ground floor are nicer than those at second floor.

Stayed here last night and had a pleasant experience overall. The kids’ pool was a highlight—clean, fun, and perfect for families traveling with children.
The service was also commendable. The staff were very helpful in arranging our room and went the extra mile to assist us with moving our luggage, especially since there is no lift facility. Their effort made our stay much more comfortable and appreciated.
Overall, a good stay with thoughtful service.

Service: If there are still rooms, travelers can check in early
Facilities: There is a bed, refrigerator, air conditioner, and three plugs, but it is far from the bed and inconvenient
Everything is new
But the location is remote and there is nothing to eat nearby

The room is clean.
The TV doesn't turn on. The toilet seat is not very good. It's old and looks like it has mold. But... they tried to clean it.
When I read the details, it seemed like there were amenities such as a hair dryer. But... there wasn't.
The location is good, close to the city.

Room is spacious and clean. Cleaner mops the floor everyday. Location walkable to old town. There is a 7/11 next to it. There is a gym in this hotel and u have to pay 150baht. I suggest the hotel to include the gym price into the hotel room rate so that people can use the gym freely.

I had a wonderful overall experience at Oriental Villa ( minibar is free). The highlight of the stay was definitely the cottage's proximity to a massive lake, which offers a truly magnificent view. A great perk for in-house guests is the free kayak rental. Each villa has its own reserved parking. It was incredible to lie by the pool at night and watch the stars. The breakfast sent to villa.
One thing to note: the property is very integrated with nature. If you have a phobia of lizards or cats, this might not be the best fit for you. However, if you're just visiting for the day, you can still enjoy the lake; kayaking is available for outside guests at a reasonable rate of 120 baht per hour.

Guest UserOverall, it's good. The room is clean, but the air conditioner isn't very cool. I woke up covered in sweat. It's a bit far from Songkhla city, so it's difficult to get a taxi. It's much better to have your own car.

Anonymous UserThe cleanliness and comfort of the room are a perfect 10/10, no deductions, as it's a new hotel. However, I'd like to ask the owner to reconsider the check-in process. The hotel doesn't have a mini-bar, but they require a 1000 baht cash deposit for room and key card insurance. My question is, why does the deposit have to be in cash? They don't accept transfers or credit card holds. I'm wondering if the hotel owner is unaware that we live in a cashless society these days. If a deposit is deemed necessary, please consider changing the method. As for the 1000 baht room deposit, if you're that worried about damage, I suggest closing the hotel and using it as your own residence instead. Finally, regarding the deposit: at check-out, the staff smoothly stated that there were no issues with the room and everything was in order, effectively dismissing the guest. But wait, was the 1000 baht deposit not going to be returned? I had to ask, ”Excuse me, what about the deposit?” Only then did the staff seem to realize and return the money. This made me start to wonder why the deposit was so high. Was it an attempt to subtly forget and not return it? Most hotels have everything prepared and processed after checking the room, so guests don't have to ask for their deposit back.

Anonymous UserThe staff provided excellent service and spoke very politely—kudos to them! The location is fantastic. However, the room was a bit cramped. The pillowcases had multiple holes, and what made me particularly unhappy was the towel. Is it really a towel, or am I mistaken? Why were all four edges so frayed and tattered, and yet it was still given to a guest? Why would such a towel be offered for customer use? Thank you very much.

TAN YEOK THENGThis is an older hotel, but it is very well maintained and everything is in good condition. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The location is very convenient, with many shops and attractions nearby. There is also an excellent restaurant within walking distance serving delicious local food.
Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.
