Great location! The hallway on the 2nd floor smelled amazing, I just expected it to continue to the other floors. Our room is big and spacious, but it smelled like it's not been used for quite some time. I like that they also have luggage storage. All in all, it's still great.

Golden Phoenix Manila – Highly Recommended!
Stayed here for 4 days 3 nights. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very near to SM Mall, with a laundry shop and convenience store just beside it – super convenient!
It’s a value-for-money stay and I definitely think it’s worth coming back here again when I visit Manila!

We stayed at this hotel to watch the Pyromusical Fireworks event. It's walking distance to MOA and the rooms are big. The only problem we've encountered is the AC in the room is not working well, but the maintenance team were able to fix it. Took about an hour to do that. Unfortunately, we stayed in a room where the view is blocked, but nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay. Just an advice, it would be best to have guide arrows or numbers that indicate the room numbers (for example, "room 200-210 this way") so that guests won't find it hard to find the rooms or other places. We saw other people getting lost just to get back to their rooms.

Stayed at Golden Phoenix Hotel Manila and was disappointed. Rooms were poorly maintained—faulty drains, missing towel racks, and worn-out furniture. Hallways smelled musty, and carpets were dirty. Parking was filled with dusty cars, as if abandoned. Security was questionable, and Wi-Fi was unreliable.
Breakfast was supposed to start at 6 AM, but when we ate at 6:30, the food already tasted old, like it had been sitting out for hours. Even the coffee was stale. Room service food was decent, but the water they served had floating residue. Staff were hit-or-miss with responsiveness. Convenient location, but not worth the stay.

It's Value For Money. The hotel is within walking distance from SM Asia Mall. Very convenient. Also the hotel is just few kilometres away from airport. It is convenient to those who has a domestic flight to catch.

Upon arrival in the room, I realised that there wasn't a working desk to do my work. Hence, I have to upgrade to a suite for PHP2000 a night. Breakfast weren't the best, but good enough for what you paid for.
Room amenities were basic. The housekeeping kept forgetting to replace the towels after cleaning my room, and that's annoying. Shower weren't hot enough but acceptable. Room doesn't have any coffee, but they do give green teabags (with sugar, stirrer, and creamer, who uses creamer with green tea?? LOL)
The location was good. Easy access to a lot of places and airport. Chinese food on the ground floor was delicious.
