This Hotel is literally hidden away under a cliff on the main road into Perugia old town. Lots of signs so you can find it easily On arrival there are plenty of spaces to park and only a 2mtr walk to the door. The reception staff are fantastic and make you feel welcome soon as you step through the door. We checked in with Andre who was charming, spoke excellent English and was more than helpful. Our room was at the front and the views were amazing. We don't normally eat in our Hotel but decided as we were tired we would. What can I say but FANTASTIC FOOD AND SERVICE. We decided that we would eat in every night. For those who are gluten intolerant or coeliac the menu caters for you. A shuttle bus is available to take you up into the old town x3 in the morning and it's literally a 20min walk back, down hill. I can't praise the Ilgo enough. It's a must for us on our next Perugian stay.

Hotel is in the midst of nature. Two bus stops away from city centre. Its very good value. For money. Not ideal for people who have mobility problems. Hotel offers a good bfast and has a restaurant. One needs to use taxi for getting tovtrain station.

We have as a group used this Hotel for the Umbria Jazz Festival since 2009, due to events Covid etc, we had not returned for some years. Our visit from the 7th July to the 16th was not a disappointment, the staff remained the same, friendly, extremely helpful in particular Peao, the Matre D. The menu is not extensive but the food supplied is excellent, we used the restaurant more on this occasion than ever before , due to the heatwave at the time, and we were never disappointed. The wine list is first class and not expensive. Fabrizio the Manager helped organize an excellent local wine tasting , well worth discussing at the Hotel with him or his deputies. I am sorry I did not record all the names of staff, in particular the Chef, but we could not fault any of them. The Hotel itself is very clean and practical, bathrooms need a bit of a renovation. However it does not detract from the overall stay. It is a extremely good value and hopefully we shall return for next years festival.

This hotel would greatly benefit from renovation. It's old. Breakfast was ok. The location is good. The very helpful front desk people said you can go to Perugia on foot, but the climb is quite steep. As an alternative driving to the closest parking is about 5 minutes.

Romms are vey very standad. Breakfast is good, I found that a 3 or 4 stars in Italy are just a matter of price but not quality. For me, it needs a lot of repairs and improvement details to be a 4 star. Air conditionning was not working.

Camere con scarsa pulizia, eravamo in stanza in 3 ma non si poteva camminare tanto che era stretta, riscaldamento disattivato di notte con gelo in stanza. Colazione da evitare, cena di scarsa qualità. Rapporto qualità/prezzo scarso. NON LO CONSIGLIO

Abbiamo scelto questo hotel come base per visitare l'Umbria. Pernottamento e prima colazione per 10 giorni. La stanza era confortevole e pulita, con aria condizionata, tv e frigo bar. La colazione molto buona e varia. Tutto il personale è stato molto gentile e disponibile. Proprio perché l'albergo ci è piaciuto, vorremmo solo segnalare che il bagno non è pienamente fruibile, in quanto la doccia, se la persona è molto alta o corpulenta, risulta piccola e quindi scomoda.

Abbiamo alloggiato all'Ilgo per una notte. La camera era stata rinnovata recentemente ed era pulita e in ordine. Molto gentile lo staff. Un grazie particolare al Sig. Andrea in reception per la cortesia e disponibilità. Molto buona la colazione.
