GGuest UserLet me start with the conclusion: staying here was the best decision I made in Saihu Scenic Area! I chose this place to see the stars, watch the sunrise, eat delicious food, drink milk tea, encounter various small animals, and experience the local culture. Luckily, all of this happened! For stargazing, this place is a must-see. My main goal this time was to see the Milky Way and a sea of ​​stars. First, I compared it with nearby campsites and hotels outside the east gate. The light pollution here is relatively low, 2.7 on the astronomical map, meaning the Milky Way is clearly visible, and as long as there are no clouds, the stars are visible. See Figures 2 and 3, which I took with my iPhone. As for the B&B itself, overall, it was clean and comfortable beyond my expectations. The concrete room is where we live, and the two yurts are where we eat and chat. The rooms have electric heaters, which provide continuous heating throughout the night, and they also have electricity. Regarding the restrooms, which many women worry about, they are dry toilets, but they are concrete and very clean! P.S. If you choose a yurt, you'll definitely need dry toilets, so be prepared for that. Saihu can get very cold outside in autumn and winter, so bring plenty of clothes. The view from the B&B, facing Saihu and surrounded by snow-capped mountains on three sides (in autumn and winter), is absolutely stunning. The absence of clouds allowed for stunning starry skies, sunrises, and sunsets. The lamb we ordered was incredibly delicious, with no mutton smell and a very fragrant aroma! Breakfast and milk tea were also delicious! The B&B owners were incredibly warm and welcoming, with high emotional intelligence, talented dancers, and attentive to their guests. They made us feel safe and secure, making it a great place for women to stay! The owners even picked us up and dropped us off at the nearby shuttle bus stop. As for the pets, we currently have a cute kitten with a great personality. We encountered flocks of sheep, horses, and eagles along the way. Great! I'll be back next time, hahahahahaha!

GGuest UserThe yurt is at the north gate of Sailimu Lake. The location can directly see the lake. The boss will drive to the north gate to pick it up. The yurt is very large, even if it rains, it is much safer than camping. Heating is a charcoal stove. When you just burn it, you can wear short sleeves. It is a bit cold after the middle of the night. You can let the boss prepare some charcoal and wake up at night. The boss and the proprietress are very good. They can eat at home and experience authentic styles. After eating the mutton skewers, they didn’t have time to take pictures. The fried mutton should be braised. The mutton is very delicious. The sheep skin that was just killed in the morning is still on the ground. It is highly recommended to stay in the experience, you can watch the night view and sunset, and it is also convenient to get up early to watch the sunrise and drive around the lake. There are voles, sheep, cattle, horses and other small animals on the grass.

GGuest UserThe room was split into two levels, with one bed per level. There was no air conditioning, just a hollow switch. Even with the window open, it was still stuffy. The quilt was too thick; it felt cold without it, and hot with it. The only good thing was the included nuts and snacks. There was also a special offer with the booking process, including a photo shoot and retouching, but the front desk clerk never mentioned it to us. It was outrageous. I paid over 1,500 yuan for a room, and this was the only service I received. I even booked two rooms. I called back and they were rude. They said they'd have the front desk clerk call me back, but they never did. Absolutely terrible! Never book this hotel!!! The bathroom didn't even have a dry/wet area, and the toilet didn't even work!!!

GGuest UserIt was my first time staying in a space capsule, and the experience was fantastic. It was clean, roommates didn't bother each other, and the shared facilities were convenient. The sleep was quiet, and the sense of security was truly wonderful. The security guard was awesome, and the hostess was also very nice, helping with my luggage. AAnonymous UserThe family who run the B&B are very kind, friendly, and down-to-earth. In the evening, the owner came down to pick us up, and along the way, we even encountered a flock of sheep returning home. Xinjiang has a wide temperature swing, and it can be quite cold at night. When we arrived, the yurt was already warm with a charcoal fire. Ask the aunt if you'd like some home-cooked meals or kebabs. The lamb skewers are tender and flavorful, not at all smelly, truly unlike what you'd find in the city! The bedding is provided with disposable sheets, which felt hygienic and warm. There are also solar panels for charging our phones. The vast starry sky at night and the tranquility and elegance of Sayram Lake are a stark contrast to the daytime scenery, offering a truly precious escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Though noise is a concern, bring earplugs. The children in the neighboring yurt were so excited they were up early to play, so we woke up early to watch the beautiful sunrise over Sayram Lake. Thank you to the host family for their warm hospitality. We were able to experience the life of herders, the joy of chasing sheep, and the opportunity to gallop on horseback. It was such a great experience on my first trip to Xinjiang. I hope to come back again if I have the chance.

The boss and his mother grilled the charcoal fire in advance before we arrived, and it was very warm when we entered the room. The thoughtfulness is 100 points. Then there will be spare charcoal fires to replenish in the middle of the night. The stove in the room can also cook. We bought some meat ourselves. The boss also helped to set up a small charcoal grill at the door. Looking at the stars in the sky and blowing the wind to grill meat, the experience dared to raise it to a higher level. It is worth mentioning that their house is so close to the lake. At night, the boss told us the sunrise time in advance, and we also checked the phone to confirm. There is a small hill behind the yurt. The view for taking pictures is amazing. There are small ravines on both sides. If I have the opportunity next spring, I will come again. I hope to see the lambs hahaha!
