Great homestay with friendly and serviceminded hosts The Dengfeng Youlu Homestay was a very nice experience and can be highly recommended. The rooms were very clean and modern. Spacious and with comfortable beds. The bathroom was also modern with nice amenities. The location is a little outside the city, but closer to the main attractions to Mount Song. So easy to reach with taxi. We found the location very good and convenient since we wanted to go to the scenic areas. We had breakfast included and found it very tasty and nice. It was plain and fresh and a nice selection of nutritious food before starting the day. The service was very good. The hosts didn’t speak much English, but we used translator apps so absolutely no problem for foreigners. The Dengfeng Youlu honestly has a nice compound with a Chinese garden. They also have a pool. It looks very comfy and cosy to sit and enjoy the garden, but we were there in beginning January so it was wintertime. The room we got had nice view of the garden and the mountains. We can for sure recommend this homestay and we think the reviews written so fare are very correct.

This stay at the guesthouse on this side of the mountain completely exceeded my expectations, making it arguably the most pleasant short trip I've had recently—I have to give it a shout-out! Let me start with the most stunning aspect: the environment and the view. The guesthouse truly lived up to its name; opening the window revealed a breathtaking panorama of rolling mountains. In the early morning, you could even see the mountainside shrouded in mist, the whole scene resembling a traditional Chinese ink painting. When the sun came out, you could see Wansui Peak, one of the 72 peaks of Songshan Mountain, right outside the window. The room's natural wood tones paired with soft lighting instantly relieved the fatigue of my journey. The sheets and blankets were clean and tidy, and the room was warm and cozy, with no dampness even on rainy days. The staff were incredibly welcoming, providing travel tips and introducing local delicacies in Dengfeng. I wholeheartedly recommend this guesthouse.

During the National Day holiday, due to some reasons, the owner didn't arrange for us to stay at his own guesthouse. However, the owner's service attitude was very good, and he actively arranged for us to stay at another guesthouse. In the morning, he even helped us find a taxi to Haohanpo and gave us two complimentary breakfasts. However, the guesthouse that was arranged for us at the last minute was really just average in terms of environment, facilities, and cleanliness. It was just so-so, enough for one night. I hope the owner will strengthen the order management in the future and avoid situations where customers cannot be accommodated, as this will greatly affect the reputation of your guesthouse.

It doesn't seem feasible to reach the hotel by public transport, so having a car is necessary. Accessing the hotel entrance on foot involves climbing a flight of stairs from ground level. Once inside, guests must take the lift to reach the reception on level 6 for check-in. Luggage loading can be managed in carpark B1, and this requires the hotel to open the gate for vehicle access. In terms of service, the hotel staff were attentive and provided good service. They efficiently dried my son's and my sports shoes overnight, saving us from having to travel in wet footwear the next day. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which was delivered to our room. We were able to enjoy it on our small balcony, which was a delightful touch. The breakfast was both healthy and delicious.

The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to Shaolin Temple Scenic Area/Songyang Academy/Zhongyue Temple and other attractions (can be specified), with convenient transportation around, and it is very convenient to take a taxi or walk. There are also specialty restaurants and convenience stores nearby, which can fully meet your life needs. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I felt the caring service of the staff. The front desk was warm and thoughtful, and took the initiative to help with luggage and introduce tourist routes. The overall environment of the hotel is clean and tidy, the decoration style incorporates Zen culture, and the lobby and corridors are full of design sense, which makes people feel comfortable. The room is spacious and bright, the bedding is soft and clean, the sound insulation effect is very good, and it is very quiet at night. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet, the toiletries are complete, and the hot water supply is sufficient. The details are in place, free mineral water, smart toilets, etc., the experience is full! In general, whether it is a family trip or a solo trip, this is the best choice for Dengfeng accommodation! Super cost-effective, I will definitely stay here next time I come to Dengfeng!

The small courtyard is very artistic, with cucumbers, tomatoes, pomegranates, walnuts, figs, apples, and a small fish pond. The 2nd floor is a bit sun-dried in summer. It is awakened by the sun in the morning. Breakfast is provided. It is home-cooked. There is no Chinese food and dinner. You need to go to the village farmhouse to eat. There are swings, lounge chairs, massage chairs, dynamic bicycles, you can experience the slow pastoral life.

The hotel is in a good location, not far from the entrance of Shaolin Temple. It's about the same standard as a homestay. The utensils are all disposable and very simple. I want to complain about the water heater, which is a very small electric water heater. It takes half of the hot water to wash your face with hot water, and you have to wait for it to keep boiling. The shower head sprays very small and fine water. I dare not wash my hair for fear that it will not wet my hair.

It is indeed a big bed room, the facilities are basically everything, that is, the toiletries need to be picked up at the front desk, this hotel is very close to the Shaolin Scenic Area of Lushan, and it is about 900m on foot.
