BBotinichThe hotel really exceeded my expectations! The room was a pleasant surprise — it came equipped with smart home features, and the furniture was all modern and comfy.
The staff were incredibly friendly and genuinely nice, making our stay really enjoyable.
In terms of convenience, there were plenty of cafes and supermarkets within walking distance. As for getting to Shaolin Temple, it was a breeze — just a 15-20 minute taxi ride away.
Overall, this hotel really hit the mark with its amenities and location!

HHailiuqingfengzuiYueyue B&B is not far from Lushan Academy. It is less than ten minutes walk from here to the visitor center. It is very convenient to climb Lushan. There are various snacks and supermarkets around, convenient for eating and shopping, the boss is warm, and the health and environment here are also good. The downside is: the toilet plastic ring should be replaced in time, the sewer has some smell, lived in it for three days, the total is satisfactory.

GGuest UserThe overall experience of the hotel is particularly good, the location is very convenient, and the surrounding area is close to eating and shopping. The room was clean and tidy, no smell, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the toiletries were complete. Health is done in place, and the public areas are also clean. The service attitude is warm and thoughtful, and the demand response is very fast. Very good value for money, comfortable and quiet stay, overall very satisfied, will choose to stay next time.

Aashuang0731The guesthouse is a 2-3 minute drive from the Shaolin Temple entrance. The owner arranges pick-up and drop-off from the guesthouse to the temple the next day. The whole family is incredibly welcoming; their hospitality and assistance before and after the visit were impeccable (their adopted dog is very well-behaved, and my younger sister had a blast playing with it). My older sister had a disagreement and stayed at the guesthouse instead of going to Shaolin Temple, and the owner helped take care of her. The village where the guesthouse is located is very quiet at night, perfect for a relaxing walk. We ate all three meals at the guesthouse during our stay, and as a Hunan native who has lived in Guangdong for over ten years, I found the food quite palatable. I recommend the fried small fish. This guesthouse deserves a five-star review so more people can see it. Highly recommended!

Uun_guillouVery familial guesthouse as close as it can be from Shaolin Monastery. The owners cook good food and can drive you everywhere for a price. The wife is a guide, so she's very resourceful about what to see and do in the area. The husband's brother is a Shaolin monk so you can speak about kung-fu with him. We had a little misunderstanding at the beginning as I had booked a room with a mountain view and the one prepared had no window to the outside but I was able to change rooms. With their help I was able to hike everywher on the beautiful mountains around as I was less interested in kung-fu than the scenery.

GGuest UserWe had a great experience staying at Heyuan Hotel in Dengfeng. The receptionist was extremely helpful and helped us book taxis to the various tourist attractions and a bus to the high speed train station at the end of our stay. We also got these cards and a note to show the taxi driver so they would know how to find the hotel. Worked perfectly!

JJillxu6666The village is very quiet at night. It’s good to go to the Shaolin Temple early in the morning after a good night’s sleep. There aren’t many people there. The boss is very enthusiastic. The B&B is only more than 800 meters away from the entrance of the scenic spot, so I must pick him up. After we had fun the next day, we went to Zhengzhou, and the boss even rode a small electric donkey to deliver our luggage to us.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a good location, not far from the entrance of Shaolin Temple. It's about the same standard as a homestay. The utensils are all disposable and very simple. I want to complain about the water heater, which is a very small electric water heater. It takes half of the hot water to wash your face with hot water, and you have to wait for it to keep boiling. The shower head sprays very small and fine water. I dare not wash my hair for fear that it will not wet my hair.
