The facilities are clean and well-equipped, and the overall environment is excellent. Located at a high point in the Dong village, it's easily accessible from the entrance and offers beautiful views. The service is attentive.
The freshly ground coffee during breakfast hours was a nice touch.
The pickup service from Congjiang High-Speed Rail Station or the ticket office parking lot was very convenient.
The only minor suggestion is that during breakfast peak hours, the wait for food was a bit long. Even though the butler had pre-booked the breakfast time the night before, the noodles still needed to be freshly cooked. However, the accompanying eggs and corn were already cold. The noodles themselves were delicious! I'd recommend either improving the food's insulation or communicating with guests in advance about when to come down for their meal.

I stayed here with my mother for two nights. The hotel was easy to contact and have been very friendly and helpful from the start. They provided a transfer from the train station to their place, and were super willing to give us advice about the village. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean and had a lovely view to the mountains and gardens. The village is small, so we could walk everywhere. The bus station for the transfer back to the train station was right in front of the hotel, and the station to catch the sightseeing bus was / minutes away.

The soundproofing was excellent; we couldn't hear anyone talking outside the window. The owner was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful. He picked us up in his car when we arrived and drove us home when we left. On the morning of check-out, my child had a fever, and he drove us to the clinic to get treatment. He even extended our check-out time by an hour. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I would definitely give it a perfect score if any of my friends wanted to go.

XiaoamieyaEnvironment: Zhaoxing is now free of charge with ID cards from Guangdong Province. Take the high-speed rail to Congjiang Station, and there is a bus to Zhaoxing next to the bus. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the bus to the B&B. The B&B is in Xiaoxing. On the mountainside, the scenery is really first-class.
Hygiene: It's very quiet. It's really comfortable to sleep. When I get up and open the curtains, I see the scenery of the village and feel that all my worries are thrown away.
Facilities: The hot and cold water in the room is powerful, the hot water comes quickly, and the air conditioner is also very powerful.
Service: Xiage recommended by the boss is well worth a visit.

The service was excellent, the landlady was very friendly and kind. For the price, the facilities and scenery were exceptional, making it very cost-effective. The landlady readily upgraded our room because of the view of the rice paddies from the window. However, there are many hidden costs in this scenic area. Although the owner provided pick-up from the train station, you still need to pay an additional 20 yuan to get to the high-speed rail station. Parking at the entrance costs 20 yuan, and the daily entrance fee is 80 yuan. If you want to visit the rice terraces, you need to pay for a sightseeing bus. Personally, I didn't find any good food inside the scenic area.
In short, unless you have a strong fascination with the architecture of Guizhou's ethnic minorities, I wouldn't recommend coming here.

To start with the good points, the service was indeed very good; the staff helped us carry our luggage upstairs. Books were also available for borrowing. The hotel's location was actually quite good; it wasn't on the main street, so it wasn't too noisy. It was also relatively close to the village entrance.
There were two things I didn't like:
First, the cleanliness: We were originally assigned a room with a mountain view (or something like that, not much of a view, since I haven't seen it, I don't know), but they upgraded us to a room with a river view. The tatami room had a strange pillar; to get to the other side, you had to step onto the bed or walk along the edge. Also, one of the bedside tables wasn't on the bedside table; we had to move it ourselves. Opening the drawers of both bedside tables, one had water left by the previous guest, and the other had a bag for clothes. The toilet paper roll we received had a section that was wet from the outside in.
Second, the facilities: I really want to complain about the bathroom. The water heater was right above the sink, and it was leaking (probably why the toilet paper was wet). Water kept dripping, soaking the toothbrush and other skincare products next to it. There wasn't even a place to put clothes in the shower. The placement of the toilet seat is problematic. Usually, it's placed outwards, so you can wear a cover to keep warm. But this one is placed all the way inwards, meaning you have to wear eight covers on top. As soon as you sit down, your legs will be freezing cold.

Monika - SlovenskoFantastic stay at Bula Lakeside Hotel! Clean room with amazing lake view at the beginning of Zhaoxing Dong village. Hot water and heating worked without any problems. WIFI also worked. I would like to thank the staff the most - the girl at the reception who we communicated with via WeChat and a translator. We are foreigners who don't speak Chinese and she didn't speak English, but we managed everything. Also the gentleman who came to the train station to pick us up to make our way to the hotel easier. We also appreciate his cooking skills as he prepared a perfect dinner for us. I absolutely recommend this hotel and if we ever come back, we will stay here again. Thank you again for the nice time.

This place was a pleasant surprise! The price was super cheap, and we just picked it randomly, expecting it to be terrible, but it turned out to be quite good. The facilities were complete, and the owner was a bit shy but seemed very kind, even giving us a free tour. It's worth mentioning that when we checked out, we went back to take some photos and discovered the view from the 3rd floor was excellent. Also, we saw the housekeeping staff diligently cleaning every floorboard in the rooms, and they really do change all the sheets and pillowcases for each new guest.

Guest UserThe B&B is clean, tidy, and exceptionally quiet. The room is comfortable and peaceful, with no noise at all. The natural wood interior feels warm and cozy, and the lush greenery creates a serene and elegant atmosphere. It's perfect for sitting back with a cup of tea, escaping the hustle and bustle. The B&B even has a tea area, which is great for chatting and relaxing. It's an ideal spot for a vacation or simply to unwind and relax for a short stay.
