Coral Beach Hotel & Resort Cyprus

Back today from a week all inclusive solo trip. The hotel , overall, is really clean, has amazing views, nice location, pleasant staff, and is well maintained, apart from the bedrooms 😞 very outdated, smelly, electric wires hanging from the drawer which fell off, and in much need of repair/updating. Also, food is generally typical buffet style, nice enough, but nothing special. Fine dining restaurants weren't available during my stay, so, for me, the rooms & dining takes It down to 4* for me. I paid £1600, Inc flights, for 1 person, definitely not worth it.....I could've had 2 x decent 4 star trips for the same money. Nothing mind blowing, nothing disgusting, totally average.

My wife and I stayed at Cap St George’s in early September 2024, quite simply, the nicest hotel we’ve ever stayed in. A beautiful if remote setting, probably best to hire a car if you don’t want to end up only being at the hotel which is what happened to us. The room with its own plunge pool was fantastic, the bed was very comfy and we didn’t hear a single noise at night from anywhere, it was totally peaceful. We ate at the Kohili beach restaurant every night, the staff were excellent and the food was beautiful. We’d especially like to thank our young waitress Vasiliki who was absolutely fantastic, if the hotel have any sense they’ll make sure they keep her and promote her, she’s really excellent at looking after her customers, if you read this Vasiliki, thank you again from Mick and Carolyn who ordered the chicken breast and salmon every night!😍😂 A wonderful hotel and truly excellent and attentive staff, we will return in the future.

We stayed at this hotel, and after already booking I made the mistake of reading reviews and there were quite a few negative ones. However, please look for yourself. We arrived at nearly 2am and was greeted in the reception area with a very swift check in, after going to our room we found a very clean and tidy room and food had been put in the fridge for us incase we were hungry. When we got up to our first AI meal of breakfast it was a vast variation of food to appease all varieties of people and this was a constant throughout our stay whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner. The drinks on offer were good with the exception of the cocktails which were totally unbalanced and just a lot of spirits in them. The pool was stunning and clean, the hotel was very clean and the staff were almost all outstanding, disappointingly the only 2 staff I found to be lazy and obnoxious were the only 2 English ”lads” I came across at the pool bar. I will not knock this hotel for minor little things because in the whole it was a pleasure to stay there and be served by them

We booked this hotel for 2 reasons , number 1 was location and number 2 was value for money compared to other hotels in the paphos area. Check in was smooth and we were given a drink on arrival. We had a one bedroom apartment with a sea view, one of the largest apartments we have stayed in with a fully equipped kitchen. We arrived late and just got to the restaurant to eat in time. They stayed open for us while we ate our lovely buffet meal. The pool area is clean and tidy. All the members of staff from the restaurant and bar go out of their way to help you. A light bulb needed changing on the balcony and this was changed the same day. This is not a 5 star hotel but you get more than what you pay for. It was my birthday whilst we were staying and I received a large birthday cake in my fridge on the day. A very nice gesture from the management.

Would give 0 if I could. I stayed here from 20th August 2024 until 17th September 2024 in a studio. Upon arrival I noticed the images on the website are older and the hotel was not in the best condition, however, with the cheap prices this is to be expected. The pool bar was also closed the entire duration of my stay. My air-conditioning did turn on however barely made a difference, not falling below 27°C the entire first week. I did not tell the reception at first as I assumed that, like everything else in this hotel, it was just old and in need of replacement and all rooms would be the same. There were a few minor problems (electric cut out etc.) and one of the men from reception came up to fix the fuse, I mentioned the A.C and he told me this was not normal and would have somebody come to look at it. After a few days nobody had came to check it so I went back down to reception, where I was told someone would be sent in the morning. The next afternoon, someone came to look at it, for about 1 second and said he would send someone else to fix it, then left. A couple of days later I went to stay a couple of nights Limassol (a different city), upon my return the air conditioning was still not working properly. Now 2 weeks after I was first told it would be fixed, I went and asked the manager, she send 2 people straight away and they fixed it within seconds. Considering it was such an easy fix and the maintenance people had been around my entire stay so far, I was wondering why it took 2 weeks and me speaking to 4 different people for someone to actually fix it (3 weeks into my 4 week stay). While on the way from reception to my room with a maintenance lady stopped, pulled a plaster off her foot and threw it on the floor less than a metre away from a bin (photo attached). Firstly, this is disgusting in anyway, however, right in front of a guest just shows the lack of respect for hygiene from staff in this hotel. A week later, this plaster was still there on the floor (also attached). One evening I saw a mouse running round in my room (photo attached), although I’m sure good hygiene would help, I understand they are small and can get in through small spaces. However, I am seriously unhappy with how this situation was dealt with, or should I say not dealt with. I went down to reception and told the man, to which he shrugged his shoulders and said “there’s nothing I can do”. I clearly was unhappy with this response so he elaborated saying “we’re fully booked and I’m the only person working, so I can’t help you, it’s not a lion, you can leave it until tomorrow”. This response is not only rude, but unacceptable and lazy, it is the hotel’s responsibility to sort this out and not expect a guest to cook, eat and sleep in a room with a mouse running around. The mouse could have diseases, excrete and urinate in my room, as well as chew and damage my things. I went back and asked if he could at lease get a broom or something to shoo it out onto the balcony,
