If you are looking for a perfect South Africa retreat to see awesome wildlife with great people, look no further than Parson's Hilltop! I ventured from Alaska and stayed at Parson's for an entire week with no other goal than being present to the surroundings and resetting from a stressful year. And I was not disappointed. Mirjam made sure that everything was laid out, Estalie was the best at ensuring plans came to fruition (and a great guide as well). Wiehahn was an amazing game drive guide and I learned so much. Please stay for more than just a couple of days so that you can have the best experience and have the best viewing opportunities. That being said. there is no fence around Parson's and a leopard walked past my tent and I saw so much wildlife at the pan. (Please note that June is chilly in the morning especially so plan accordingly.)

Everything was outstanding! The food is of superior quality, the staff are super friendly and qualified. The safari drives through the bush where fantastic with a coffee in the morning and a beer in the afternoon. The explanations about the animals by the ranger where very detailed and interesting. Myriam and her crew deserve a medal for outstanding hospitality where every detail exceeds expectations all the time throughout our 4 day stay!

We had a once in a lifetime experience at Parsons. We stayed in a luxury tent, this was Glamping at its finest. Amazing staff, knowledgeable guides and the host Mirjam made us feel like family. Well planned activities created lifelong memories for us.

Stayed here for our honeymoon and enjoyed every second of it. The guides are super knowledgeable, all staff is friendly and the service level is amazing. Good food, good tents and good safaris. We saw all of the big five during our stay. 10/10

We spent a week at the Parsons' House in the Safari camp and had the house to ourselves as we were 8 peopl (6 adults and 2 kids). Everything was made for us to have a wonderful stay. The cook Patience was cooking us local things for us to discover the South African dishes; Loveleness and Ismael taking car of our well being in the house; Jurie and Estalie as amazing safarii rangers to take us all over the reserve to discover the wildlife. We even got the chance to see the big five over the week. Definitely worth the stay and we'll be back hopefully another time.
