"This is a new hotel, and the rooms are really clean. The staff are also very helpful. It's a collection of small bungalows, about 12 of them if I remember correctly. The only downside is that there's no TV, so it can be a bit quiet. In the morning, they offer sandwiches for breakfast, or you can choose a full breakfast set. The location is close to Khao Sok National Park, about 500 meters down an alley from the main road. However, the alley leading in is quite rough and full of potholes. If you're driving, you might need to be careful and go slowly. 📌📌📌 One more warning: If you use Google Maps and it tries to take you to the back of the hotel, DON'T GO!! Unless you have a 4x4 or a vehicle ready for off-road adventures, seriously, DON'T GO!! You've been warned! Stick to the main road and ignore any shortcuts Google Maps suggests for the back way. We didn't take pictures of that route because it was very dark, there were no streetlights, and if you got stuck in a hole, it would be hard to find help. Also, there's no phone signal there, so be careful. 📌📌"

"Nice stay and generally recommendable, based on a ‘jungle experience’ expectation. A great base for trips in Khao Sok. However, accommodation was reasonably basic, rooms very small, beds very hard. We were informed that we could swim in the river, but that was simply not possible (only 20-30 min deep at the time). Staff was incredibly friendly (5 stars)."

"Had an amazing time at Our Jungle Camp! Was a perfect place for a 3 days couples experience. The food was great, the lychee mojitos are AMAZING and the location is very convenient . Close to everything in the park and easily walkable to other restaurants, bars and a cute ice cream spot. But also far enough away that at night all you get are jungle sounds. We were a little worried about not having AC but the fans kept us completely cool. It was so much fun being in the jungle! We definitely recommend the tubing experience and spending some time having fun in the river. Don’t get too close to the monkeys, they will chase."

"Exotic = Not clean??? The room is damp. The bed is dusty, and my skin is itchy. The sheets, blankets, and pillows smell musty and make me dizzy. The tent canvas is covered in mold. My throat and nose are sore from breathing. The water is dirty and light. The floor is wet, damp, and moldy. The entrance is too far away. There's no receptionist. There's little light in the room."

"Ning is an absolute superstar, she organised a fantastic trip for us in the National Park with an overnight stay in a water bungalow - although basic it was very comfortable with a spectacular location and delicious food. We saw elephants, flying fox bats & even otters. She then organised a lovely room for us at the Royal Bamboo Lodge which was so comfortable with beautiful exotice flowers, a great pool and we even got to meet some of the local monkeys. I left my shorts drying at the bungalow and Ning posted them to Bangkok for me and they arrived the following day! Cannot recommend this place enough if you're visiting Khao Sok & looking for a very memorable trip to the National Park. Thanks Ning 🙏"

"We booked this hotel with some trepidation given the mixed reviews and now understand why there is such a range. Ultimately these are rooms in the middle of a jungle area where it rains a lot. If you go expecting 4* luxury you will be very disappointed. On the plus side staff were friendly, the rooms have character, and the communal area is very pleasant and creates a nice social hub. Do bear in mind though that rooms are basic, shower quality is limited, and some mod-cons (like somewhere to hang your clothes!) are missing. If you embrace it for what it is then it’s fine, but do not expect luxury (and be prepared for the odd bug!). Also we booked a number of tours but information on what to expect, what to take etc. was very limited which is a shame as we were not as prepared as we could have been. We also found the weather forecasts to be useless and it rained pretty much all the time (no fault of the hotel tho!)."

"Lost Horizon is a massive, beautifully spread-out property surrounded by lush greenery, making it a truly peaceful nature retreat. I absolutely loved my stay here. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The adventure activities were a highlight - canoeing, tubing, and the night safari were well organised. The staff deserves a special mention for being extremely courteous, kind, and always ready to help. The food was delicious, with great flavours. Everything about this stay was perfect. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, nature, adventure, and warm hospitality, Lost Horizon is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!"

"Everything is perfect ! The setting is magical in the heart of nature and allows us to be in the front row to enjoy the monkey show! The rooms are spacious and the bedding is excellent. The village is less than 10 minutes away on foot, ideal for eating out. Finally, the breakfasts are excellent, the plates are magnificent. The welcome is great! I really recommend this establishment!"

"I really liked it. I can't judge the location by the drive; a kilometer here or there doesn't matter much. There's parking. The staff is helpful. The cottages have a unique design. It's clean, cozy, and well-thought-out. There's plenty of water. The shower is very important. At the previous place, I didn't even want to go in, but here, everything is clean. There was one drawback: the bats, and they squeaked for quite a while at sunset. But once it got dark, it became quiet. And the air conditioning wasn't very well positioned. We had to sleep with the doors open, but there are special screens on the doors to keep out any street critters. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant. I'm not much of a gourmet; I prefer home-cooked food. I wasn't particularly thrilled with the food, but everything was edible and relatively tasty. To sum it up: even despite these seemingly minor drawbacks, if we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely stay at this hotel again."

"Adequate for an overnight stay. Entrance for hikes in the national park within walking distance. The lake tours start at the other end of the lake, however. It took over 1 1/2 hours to get to the Steeg."
