I booked a seaview quad room for my friend and me. The room had two queen-sized beds and a small living area. Bathroom was between the beds and balcony, which was a little odd but otherwise we loved the seaview from the bathroom and balcony. The location is near the Kenting main street night market. For facilities, I am appreciative of the water dispenser, and the warm hospitality of the staff.

The location of the hotel is very good, behind Kenting Street, in front of the sea, you can go shopping at night, you can enjoy the sea view in the morning, the decoration of the lobby and the room is also very beautiful, the sound insulation is nothing to say, you can enjoy a quiet night, or you can not disturb others to play music.

Very close to Kenting Main Street! Parking is also convenient! The location and transportation are great! ! !
The landlady is also very enthusiastic! Only the sound insulation may not be good enough, or the tenants are really too noisy, because some tenants come back after four o'clock, which is too noisy. I wake up in the middle of the night and am not in a good mood. In addition, there are no disposable supplies in the room, which is very environmentally friendly! But I found one Xiao Xiaoqiang, and the others are quite satisfactory:)))

We had a great stay here. We were right across from the beach( no swimming beach but was great for kids to play in the sand). Staff were friendly. We were just a minute’s walk from the night market, great for the kids to go play some games and get food easily. Breakfast shop was also just up the street from the hotel. Parking is also offered by the hotel which is located behind the hotel. No complaints here. Looking forward to staying here again.

The only drawback is that it is not a good place to swim, because the red flag is hanging on the left, indicating that this beach is dark. It is not advisable to fall into the water, just bask on the left beach 🏖️

It was right near the bus stop, so it was easy to get to anywhere.
It was also close to the sea, so I went there to watch the sunset every day. When I returned after the sunset, the night market had already started, so I had dinner there.
There was a Family Mart downstairs, so it was convenient because you can go there quickly if you need something.
There were some days when it was rainy and windy, probably because of the typhoon,
but I was able to watch Japanese movies and anime on TV and spend the day relaxing in my room.
It was unfortunate that I encountered a cockroach only once.

I recently stayed at 35.5 Inn in Kenting Xiaowan, and overall, I had a very positive experience.
The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the amenities provided were good. Everything was well-maintained, making my stay comfortable.
The location is fantastic—the hotel is right next to the Kenting Night Market, which is held daily. This makes it incredibly convenient for food, shopping, and entertainment. Additionally, a scooter rental shop is located right next door, offering both regular and electric scooters, making it easy to explore the area.
One aspect that could be improved is the check-in process. Unfortunately, check-in is only available from 4:00 PM, which can be inconvenient for travelers arriving earlier. A potential improvement would be to provide guests with the door code in advance, allowing early check-in if the room is already available. In my case, my room was unoccupied before my arrival, so this could have been an easy solution.

We have stayed 2 nights in Chateau. Though the hotel is not new, but everything is well maintained. We spent a great time there. Every staff there is friendly and helpful. We participated some extra activities (Paper cutting, Archery, and golfing. ),Everything is fun when you get together with family/friends. Especially, we invited an Amercian friend with us, she had very good impression about hotel too. Will recommend other travelers if Chateau offer some meal plans, it's really valuable. (Will suggest Chateau :The buffet - breakfast, dinner can be improved if possible).

LLimVery good service of reception. Helped to booked car back to highspeedrail station as buses stop running cos of typhoon. Reception also gave recommendation to places to eat and where is still open. Helped to check if its still open as well.
Room is very clean. Spacious. We got a free upgrade to ocean view room.
Although typhoon disrupted our plans, this hostel definitely made it alot better. No complains. Feel well rested too.

BBlaithin PatriciaThe hotel is really nice and well located. If you take the tourist bus from Zuoying it stops right outside the hotel. However they do have their own free shuttle bus from the station, which we only realised when we left haha.
Unfortunately the typhoon had hit when we came to Kenting so I can’t say anything about the beach or outdoor facilities.
Breakfast was really good. Huge spread. They had a salad section, a bakery section, fruit section, hot food section, cereal, and even make your own noodles too. So good!
In the basement they even have mahjong rooms, pool tables, table tennis, some video games and a soft play area for children.
There are two restaurants: a Thai hot pot restaurant and the bar restaurant which has the typical bar foods in it, fried food, pasta fried rice etc. but the prices are a little high so I’d recommend just walking into the town to eat at the restaurants there!
Staff were very lovely and very helpful.

DDanieltrI loved my stay at Slack BnB. It is easy to find in the village.The facilities are very clean, everything is well-planned and guests have a lot of opportunities to rest. Very cosy Dorms with built-in Beds, which have a good quality. The guests are very respectful and quiet. There is a kitchen to provide food, slacklines in the garden, lots of space to hang out and a Beamer where you can watch YouTube etc.
The staff is very motivated to keep everything clean, this can be seen in various facets.
The staff and the owner are so helpful which I appreciated much. I can definitely recommend this hostel to everybody when visiting the island.

PPgzdWe were greeted warmly by the hotel staff, and they were even so kind as to offer us advice as first timer to the area. Plenty of facilities around the hotel. Room was huge ! Great bathtub. The Aircon positioning was a little awkward as it is placed in the living room, so it takes a long time for the sleeping area to reach a cooling temperature. Location wise it couldn't be better ! Few minutes drive away from the night market and Kenting national park, and just a 5 mins walk away from the beach with many activities ! A great hotel for family and friends to stay at !

RRiyarI like it very much. It’s only $2700 during the holiday. The hostess is very kind. The room is surprisingly good, very exquisite and high-quality. There is also a handmade breakfast by the hostess. The location is also very good. Across the road, you will find Nanwan on the opposite side. There are also many hotels nearby. I just found a temporary accommodation the day before. The ratings on Trip were indeed true. I will come back next time.

JJohnHotel is definitely more than 1 km from express bus drop off point! Long walk if you carry heavy luggage.
Lobby small and toilets/laundry room right at the back. Staff can call a taxi on your behalf as it is hard to hail a cab at the kerb. Warning : the cabs do not run by meter. Definitely more expensive than Tainan or Kaohsiung.
Room itself is very small, esp the toilet! Aircon rather noisy and fridge starts humming on and off.
HengChun is a good place to stay as there are numerous cafes/shops/services. Local night market nearby every Sunday night.
Need to book a cab if you wish to go to Kenting Night Market or explore the coastal attractions. Highly recommend you go LongPan Park (free admission). Avoid JiaLeShui till they start running the shuttle tram to waterfall again!

SShawn TravelsIf your focus is purely to spend most of your time at the Nanwan Beach, Cat at Greece will be your choiced accommodation. As we were met with an off=peak situation, my family was the only ones staying at this hotel. We had trouble checking in as there were no one at the front desk to receive us as the property were not manned but monitored remotely. We took a while to get in touch with the hotel caretaker and that was done with the help of a 7-eleven convenience store staff reaching out to her.
Amongst the properties we have stayed, Cat@Greece was the least proactive in ensuring we settled in safely.
In my opinion, this hotel is suitable for stay only during summer and you must self-drive to have the convenience to explore the visitors' attractions.

We stayed on a weekday night, where the hotel/hostel is not fully booked. The stay was quiet at night which is what we are looking for. Not sure how things will be over the weekend or at the peak season when the place is fully booked.
The hotel is also very close to one of the scuba diving/snorkeling tour business.
It’s a bit furtheri by the harbor, but with a rental scooter, it’s easily accessible.
The only one thing for us personally, the check out time 11 pm is a bit on the earlier end (we understand some of other hotel/hostel on the island do too) If the check out can be at 12 pm, it will be perfect!
Will want to come back if we are back to the island again!

YYeow AnnKenting Youth Activity Center is probably suited for big groups of students or trainees, with a big compound and spaces for large groups and possible activities. My stay at Kenting Youth Activity Center was ok, though the location is easily 5-10 minutes walk in from the main road, with no lights after certain hours. The place and facilities are dated, still recovering from the impact of Covid (the cafe remained closed down) and probably in need of a renovation and renewed energy. Staff and service were pleasant and hospitable. Thank you for the stay and I hope Kenting Youth Activity Center can improve in the face of increased competition at Kenting.

AAnonymous UserThe environment is quiet, the holiday is good, this time it is time for the water to retreat and not go to sea. The homestay is a bit far from the restaurant. When I go back at night, there are no street lights along the road. It is only illuminated by the stars in the sky. It is very romantic.
