Even though the hotel was very busy, everything was incredibly well-organized, from reserving a dinner table at the restaurant to borrowing bicycles, helping us find a table at breakfast, and managing the pool and beach lounge areas, as well as the fitness and recreation center – everything was handled perfectly. The staff were all very friendly, warm, and thoughtful. Having stayed in hundreds of hotels worldwide, this was by far one of my most satisfying experiences. We booked for five nights and still felt it wasn't enough!"

The rooms are spacious, with large twin beds that comfortably accommodate both adults and children. What truly sets this hotel apart is its incredible range of facilities designed for kids—and equally fun for adults who want to join in. The children’s play areas are extensive and imaginative. Highlights include a ball pit with slides, a track for ride-on toy cars, a sand play zone, and themed corners where kids can role-play as doctors, chefs, or shopkeepers. It feels like a paradise for children, and parents will find themselves tempted to join the fun too. Beyond the kids’ facilities, the hotel offers plenty of activities for all ages: swimming, billiards, ping pong, carrom, gaming areas, and even KTV for singing with friends or family. There’s also a gym and a cozy reading corner, making the resort feel like a complete entertainment hub. That said, there are a few areas for improvement. The rooms are not very soundproof, so noise from children playing or chatting outside can be heard clearly. The location also requires a 12–15 minute walk from the nearest bus stop, which can be inconvenient if you’re carrying luggage. It’s much easier for guests who drive or rent a car. Additionally, check-in is only available from 4:00 PM, meaning early arrivals may need to wait—though children can enjoy the play areas while waiting. Overall, Grand Bay Resort Hotel is a true haven for families, offering endless fun for kids and plenty of activities for adults. Despite minor inconveniences, the complete facilities and joyful atmosphere make it a memorable destination for a family getaway."

The hotel also provides the Aladdin costume for renting to the hotel guests during the stay. The indoor swimming pool &the games in the game room are all complimentary. This is a highly recommended hotel in Kenting."

"Had no plans to stay in Hengchun, but it got dark and I didn’t want to drive back to Kaohsiung. At the very last minute, I booked this hostel. All the private rooms were full for the day, so I ended up in a 12-person shared capsule room — but it was very clean, and the other girls staying there were really considerate. Had a good night’s sleep. Thanks to the auntie in the kitchen for adding two extra boiled eggs for me. The warmth and hospitality in Taiwan truly make me want to come back again and again."

"Country vibe is a really nice place. There's a large garden so it's nice to walk around. There are animals. The owner is friendly. The breakfast isn't a buffet, but he cooks it himself. The menu changes every day. I recommend it, but he doesn't speak English, so you have to take this into account."

"The bed was nice and I slept well. The hot water will come out slowly, but the amount of water will be very large after it comes out. The bathtub is quite large and the water will be discharged very quickly. There is a self-service kitchen in the back which is also convenient. Car washes are also available in the detached accommodation area. The air conditioning is strong enough. Overall, it is very suitable for groups and families. Will visit again (Unfortunately, the 7-11 opposite has closed)"

The scenery is absolutely stunning, and the sea view is breathtaking. You can enjoy the ocean from your room. It's also very close to the beach, just a short walk away. After a fun day, there are showers downstairs to rinse off.

"The room is a bit old. When you arrive at the hotel, you have to carry your luggage and take a car to the counter to check in. Then take a car to the room. The car cannot be driven directly to the room, which is inconvenient!"
