Boutique Hotel Portorose ★★★★
"I knew this hotel well, having spent many summer, Easter, and Christmas holidays there, as well as countless weekends. I returned after more than seven years and found the breakfast much improved (almost top-notch). The rest was just as I remembered, and the staff were incredibly kind. The only drawback was the price – not just for the hotel, but for all of Slovenia, which has become much more expensive."
Hotel Palace Portoroz by Minor Hotels ★★★★★
"We booked a suite with air conditioning since I have asthma and pollen is everywhere. There is air conditioning but only when they turn it on...which is not this week. It is hot, we have to open windows and my asthma is now surfacing. I booked this 5 star hotel and am very disappointed. They offered 1 small fan. Travelers with allergies beware!"
Wellness Hotel Apollo – Terme & Wellness LifeClass ★★★★
"Hotel is more or less okay, but not worth the price. The rooms are really modern, clean and adequate for 4* hotel. However the rest of the hotel area and customer service is quite poor. The pools, spa and restaurant is super overcrowded, noisy and smelly and would need some refresh. The entrance to the pools is for free, to go to saunas you have to pay 18 euros per person. You cannot buy any drinks in spa, you have to leave the area and walk to the pools. however, the pool bar is open just until 6 PM, while the wellness is open until 9 PM. During our stay it was full of little kids, screaming all over the pools and we felt like in aquapark or local swimming pool not like in a wellness that is supposed to be calming and relaxing. The wellness is shared between various hotels, so you can imagine how full it can be. It was okay for one night but If you want a relaxing place to stay, it is better to look for a different hotel."
Rooms Koblar ★★
"Rooms Koblar has been recently renovated and is really up to modern standards at a very reasonable price. It has all the comforts you might want: large screen tv, refrigerator in room, wifi, air-conditioning and heating, parking right in front of the room.Check in is automated, and 24 hours available. On the grounds there is a large terrace with furniture where you can spend an enjoyable evening with a glass of wine. ( This you need to buy nearby and bring along.) Downtown Portoroz is within walking distance and Piran is s short drive from here. Breakfast is not served, but there are various cafes nearby. The owner is very friendly and helpful."
Grand Hotel Bernardin ★★★★★
"Very friendly staff, the pool and the beach are very well maintained. The location of the hotel is between Piran and Portorož and there are many quiet and nice restaurants for evening outings. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The terrace offers a beautiful view of the sea and a magnificent sunset."
Hotel Piran ★★★★
"The sea was just right behind the hotel which provided a great view and for swimming . The room was smaller than I thought. But the breakfast was great with many choices."
Hotel Histrion ★★★★
"Fantastic location, ideal for long strolls along the sea to both Piran and Portoroz. Staff very professional. Excellent value for money."
Hotel Vile Park ★★★
"The hotel is located in a beautiful spot, right by the sea. The hotel itself is quite old and could use some renovation, but most importantly, it's clean. Despite free parking, it was difficult to find a space. Breakfast and access to the heated indoor saltwater pools are included in the price. Both are available at the neighboring Histrion Hotel."
Hotel Mirna - Terme & Wellness Lifeclass ★★★★
"Rooms are big enough and very clean. Towels were chanced every day, also trashcan emptied on a daily basis. Dining room is a little bit smaller than other Lifeclass hotels I was in,but I understand-it's a smaller hotel. Staff is kind and friendly. The only negative comment I have is location on a hill- 120 steps to the top :( but you can also go from Mirna to Neptun, Apollo and than Grand Hotel through the hallways (much easier). Overall: 4/5*."

Old Town Rooms Piran
"Very friendly hosts, nice, clean and comfortable appartment. Our little family member also enjoyed in little bed we got for him. Great location, we used free local bus to get to the center from garage. Highly reccomend."
Remisens Hotel Lucija
"It was great experiance. The rooms are new, the pool and spa are completly new, the food is very well"
Hotel Slovenija - Terme & Wellness LifeClass
"It was great. Again and again"
Bioenergy Resort Salinera Apartments
"When I entered the reserved accommodation, it wasn't cleaned at all and there wasn't enough bedding. I was thankful that I raised the issue and upgraded my room. However, when checking out, I had to request and pay the city tax of 14 euros instead of 10 euros suggested on the reservation voucher. Angry."
Hotel Salinera
"The hotel is excellent even if a little out of the way but easy to reach. Spacious rooms. It offers various services, it is close to the sea and also has a swimming pool. Excellent buffet always varied. The only flaw I found is the lack of a bidet in the bathroom."
Bioenergy Resort Salinera Hotel
"We stayed there for New Year's Eve 2026. A truly wonderful surprise. Without charging a cent more, except for the dinner, they took care of every detail of the celebrations (music, bottle of wine in the room, gala evening, etc.). Even the New Year's Eve breakfast was as good as the dinner the night before!! Here too, there was music and an early morning toast. Extremely kind staff, attentive to every request, even if it was merely personal courtesy. Highly recommended, especially for its proximity and convenience for visiting Piran and Portorož! A full score."
Hotel Riviera - Terme & Wellness Lifeclass
"The free WiFi is horrible and doesn’t even load anything, the food is low quality and there aren’t many options and most of the options are quite stale. The beds are a little comfy and the showers are nice so are the bathrooms. The air con is a nice touch as well"
Apartments Vila Barka
Hotel Svoboda - Terme Krka
"Beautiful and peaceful spa; spacious saunas and friendly staff. A major drawback is the parking at the Svoboda Hotel; if you're not a hotel guest and only use the spa, the hourly rate is a whopping €3 per hour! So next time, we'll go to the parking lot before the climb (€0.50 per hour)."
Villa Olive Oasis
Guest House PachaMama
"A very nice hotel, centrally situated close to the square in Piran. The room was pretty small but the standard high. Although it would be even better if the possibilities to unpack improved. We really appreciated that we could make our own meals when we preferred that and the secret garden was a pleasant place to enjoy whatever meal one prepared. Or perhaps simply a glass of wine. The staff was very friendly and helpful and always made you feel welcome."
Hotel Oleander - Oleander Resort
"The hotel's facilities are a bit old, the sound insulation is not very good, but the staff service is still very good, very warm, very comfortable"
Hotel Lavender - Oleander Resort
"The hotel was OK, but definitely too expensive, even in high season. The rooms were big enough, clean and with a big bed. However, the walls are extremely thin, you can hear almost every noise from the neighboring rooms. The breakfast is only average. The mattress was too soft and the pillows were a disgrace. The location wasn't the best, right next to salt fields, but there was a very nice Italian restaurant within walking distance. For €150/night we definitely expect a better standard, or at least €50 less per night."
Hostel Panorama Portorož
"Very simple but correct. Very friendly staff, the receptionist loves person. Beautiful views. Room lacking air conditioning and the kitchen is shared. Right breakfast . A little complicated to arrive at night, has parking and is free. The hotel was very comfortable and was very surprising."
