the building has rich history, but the room feels a bit too old. nonetheless the location is great with friendly service, price is reasonable for a large room compare to other hotel in pisa. PS. great river view at night.

The service was fantastic. The room was very basic and tired. Breakfast was very cheap food and not enjoyable at all.

A bit musky when I first got into the room. Have to open the windows to freshen up the air. The building has old world charm. It's a big room compared to other hotels in Milan.

I think living in an antique house, I must visit the various parts of the building. It is very time-traveling. The furniture in the room should be older than me. The child said that it will be a bed at night, haha, because we checked in close to midnight, the room’s The lighting and facilities directly let us go back to the medieval movies, the river view room, the window is beautiful, the invincible scenery! Careful consideration with high comfort requirements, a special experience, the child said after visiting at dawn the next day that she no longer wanted to leave!

This place is the most convenient place for us to arrive. It is only a few stops from the train and bus. You can see the beautiful river when you get off the bus. It takes 2 minutes to walk to the hotel, which is very convenient.

We stayed over the new year period, the choice of the hotel was for its strategic position. It overlooks the Arno a stone's throw from the middle bridge, 15-20 minutes from the station and Piazza dei Miracoli. Grand Royal Hotel Victoria is a historic building over 600 years old with original 19th century furniture that was once splendid, is now very run down, poorly maintained and in need of serious renovations. Interior of the rooms with antique furniture, unfortunately the mattresses are also antique. Buffet breakfast but not much choice. In defense I might say the staff were very friendly and helpful. Plus it was beautifully decorated for the Christmas season with a wonderful Santa's room.

'Historic' hotel which in this case means old. Unfortunately, the image it gives is one of neglect: apart from the ugly room, with non-modular and noisy air conditioner, many small things that together 'weigh' like unstable keys and doors that move with every vibration, floors and common services never subjected a thorough cleaning or abrasion, so as to appear dirty, broken tiles, cracks in the walls, lamps that do not work, outdoor breakfast tables with dirty tablecloths, cereal dispenser knobs that come off, check in at 3.30pm Positive notes: location, breakfast, courtesy of service staff, period furnishings. Too bad: renovated would be a gem ....

Historic hotel in a great location… magnificent view! A special thanks to the lady at the reception who, given the vacancy, allowed us to stay in a room higher than the one booked. We will definitely be going back.
