Hotel la Torre
7.6 (29 reviews)

Hotel la Torre ★★★

📍 Via Cesare Battisti, 17, Pisa

"I ended up booking this last minute as our other booking fell through. We requested a cot for our daughter only to be told upon landing that there was no cot available! When I said that they should probably have informed us of this BEFORE we got on the flight, I got a reply saying ‘you can cancel if you want’. The room had 3 single beds in it, although we had booked a room with double bed (and cot) and so we ended up pushing them all together against the wall and putting the baby on the innermost bed! The hotel was very loud all night. The walls are paper thin. The next morning we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent water pressure in the showers. The hotel is also very well situated for the leaning tower as well as lots of restaurants and shops. It is also about 1 minute away from the train station which was ideal for us as we left to go to Cinque Terre. I think this hotel is tolerable if you’re only staying for one night in transit to somewhere else."

Grand Hotel Continental Hotels in Pisa

Grand Hotel Continental

"The hotel is located in a very small town. The hotel itself is good. I got a new room, there was no noise. Very clean, cleaned every day. Of the shortcomings I can note: no shampoo, a poorly working refrigerator and no glasses in the room. I asked for glasses at the reception, they sent me to the bar, where they gave me plastic glasses.... I took glass ones myself, since I do not drink from plastic. The hotel and Tirrenia itself are an ideal place to distance yourself from the world. Life in the city freezes at 8-9 o'clock. There is nowhere to go. A good supermarket and several restaurants are a 2-minute walk from the hotel. The food in none of them was particularly impressive. The sea is gorgeous. Very clean. The beach is also kept clean. Pisa is a half-hour bus ride from the hotel. There is nothing to do there, except for visiting the tower, but it is not long - 30 minutes maximum. Thank you for the rest."

L'Incanto di Boccadarno Hotels in Pisa

L'Incanto di Boccadarno

"Very clean with very friendly staff! Perfect location close to Pisa and with a possibility to visit the beach. The fitness center is a bit limited, other than that everything else is great. 20 minutes with bus to the city center"

Grand Hotel Golf Hotels in Pisa

Grand Hotel Golf

"I'm a 13-year-old student on a trip for middle school. We spent a night there in Tirrenia... (TERRIBLE experience). Food: INEDIBLE, undercooked hamburgers, cold rice, soggy pizza. Food in general, sour, COLD, and tasteless fruit juice. Rooms: SMALL, windows that don't close properly, ramshackle balconies, small TVs, cold, synthetic blankets. Staff: Generally GOOD. Reception: Comfortable and modern. Believe me, I have no reason to lie, and it's not up to the standards of a GRAND hotel."

"Great location with a terrace with the perfect view. Shame that the bar it is not open all day. It will be great to sit down and have a coffee/ drink/snack there. Also, there is no kettle or coffee machine in the room."

Grand Hotel Bonanno ★★★★
"Being a first time business traveller to Italy and Pisa ,it was a wonderful journey , the hotel receptionist can speak English , hence is easy for us to communicate with them . Pros : - Is a strategic location during the stay in Pisa , 15 min walk to leaning tower of Pisa . -Big applause to the receptionist Ms Tamara . She was very helpful , attentive and friendly during our stay at Grand Hotel Bonanno , she guide us to use the train from Pisa to Cinque terre, and lead us the direction to leaning tower of Pisa .The view of cinque terre was magnificent! -Other than that she helps us arrange taxi to airport and to my client office . - she was patient to answer all the request and question given by us . -The buffet breakfast was excellent , many selection of choice . Cons - there is no complimentary for mineral water during the stay . - the hotel was near to the railway station , hence you will easily hear the noise from outside however for me is fine with it . -the water heater can be improve . conclusion : If I ever come back again to Pisa, Italy , I will definitely choose this hotel again ."

Maison Dei Miracoli ★★★
"Terrible, even if the location is great. The photos offered by the owner enhance what is a miserable reality; at least for Camera Painting, the one in the photo: it had mold on the walls and the smell was persistent both at the entrance of the building and in the accommodation. My son is also allergic to mold. Luckily it was only for one night. Really terrible accommodation. We stayed on August 27, with registration done by my husband. You could also be satisfied if the price paid was not so high compared to the quality. Not recommended!"

Hotel la Torre ★★★
"Excellent location near Pisa Central Station, a 20-minute walk to the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The reception facilities were very good, and access was easy. However, the room was far too small. We arrived quickly, showered, and left our luggage. We only stayed for a short time. We checked in at 1:45 pm to attend an event in Lajatico and returned at 2 am to find there was no electricity. I contacted the person in charge and called, but they never answered. So, we couldn't even use the room for basic necessities like sleeping because of the lack of power. We had to leave the door open because the heat was unbearable."
