The staff is friendly and attentive, maintaining high cleanliness standards. Guests enjoyed the well-equipped facilities and stunning location near the beach. However, some found the private lodge area a bit isolated.

Hotel that met our expectations Hotel very lively pity that there is not more animation in Italian Very clean room In terms of food, for a hotel located in Italy. Very few local specialties which is unfortunate Super nice staff especially Anna 😍

Our first time at this resort. Spent one week here. I have nothing bad to say about this place. Resort is a nice size, spotlessly clean, amazing swimming pool with separate splash pad for babies and toddlers and water slides for the older kids. Our room was in block one and very quiet. Multiple evening entertainment for all ages. The walk to the beach is through a wooded area which has play equipment, out door gym ( there is a separate, well equipped, indoor gym) and hammocks. The beach is a pebble beach so you will need beach shoes. Down at the beach there is a buffet bar which is included in the all inclusive price as well as toilets, a changing cubicle, water sports stand for canoeing and deck chairs with umbrella stands for shade. The sea water is clear, warm and the most beautiful aqua blue colour. Sunsets are fantastic. THE FOOD IN THE RESORT IS EXCELLENT. We ate at the buffet and didn't go to the speciality restaurant. In the buffets there is a good variety of dishes. Lots of fresh fruit and vegetable dishes. Multiple bread and pastry options. The most amazing fish griddle station. My kids were amazed to see an intact swordfish with a lemon on the end of its sword nose being cut up for the griddle in front of them. There was a carvery, a pasta station and a wood fired pizza station. Each station had some regular staples and some options that changed every day. We are a dairy free family. Every morning there were several dairy free milk options, a dairy free yoghurt and if you asked they will make you dairy free pancakes at the pancake station. At lunch and dinner they did a nice oil and herb dairy free pizza bread and a cheese less vegetable pizza option. If you ask them they will make a vegan cheese pizza. There was always a dairy free pasta choice. The kids have their own buffet table with the required chicken nuggets, fish fingers and chips but kids can also take from the main buffet. As for puddings the main buffet didn't have a dairy free option on display (and we didn't feel the need to ask for one). The kids buffet one night put out marshmallows and on another night there was a stand in the courtyard giving out candyfloss. The coffee shop (open lunch time and dinner time) had dairy free (soya ice cream) - again you have to ask for it and they will bring the box out to show you. In addition to the all inclusive stuff available the resort has ice cream that is not included in the all inclusive price. It cost between 2 and 3 euro and there was a good selection of dairy free ice lollies and one option of a dairy free ice cream sandwich. All food is labelled with allergens and to avoid any language barriers they do this through picture codes and there is an explanations of what each picture represents in the buffet and bar areas.

Had a fantastic holiday at tui magic life Calabria, The grounds are stunning and beautifully maintained by a army of gardeners. We stayed in the Private lodge area , which we emailed the hotel, direct to request that, it enjoys its own swimming pool , Buffett and bar , the food was delicious and plenty of choice, rooms was kept immaculate by a lovely helpful friendly team of housekeepers .If entertainment is your thing and sports activities they are all available on the family side , with a full programme organised by activities staff. The walk through the pine forest to the beach was lovely and serene, with chill out areas and hammocks to relax in the shade. Beach and snack bar was great , the Sunday BBQ and live band was wonderful, reception staff, guest services , tui reps. are all on site and will go the extra mile with any requests..A stunning resort and we will definitely be visiting again

Recently returned from a 7 night fantastic holiday at TUI MAGIC LIFE Calabria resort in Italy, wish we had stayed another week! The hotel is so clean and modern with a rustic/rural element to it. All the staff throughout the hotel were fantastic from the cleaners right through to the entertainment team. The food was amazing and such great variety. The beach is beautiful and clean with a lovely 5 minute forest walk. Nothing was too much trouble. Such a vast range of activities/entertainment both my 16 and 4 year old had such a great time and can’t wait to return! definitely recommend to anyone considering going there! Thank you TUI Magic life :)

We really enjoyed our stay at Magic Life, Calabria - the resort fulfilled our expectations with beautiful, well-kept grounds and fantastic staff! Iv never seen staff work as hard as the staff at TML Calabria. The standards are very high and this is really evident. Food was plentiful, drinks were good and the entertainment programme is comprehensive. We came here for our honeymoon, and stayed in the private lodge which I would highly recommend for couples / adult families. This provided a tranquil space to enjoy, and added greater variety to the food on offer. The pool on the private lodge is exceptional, it is vast and getting a lounger is never a problem no matter the time of day. We did visit the “party pool” one day for a change of scenery which has a different vibe but is no less pleasant. The walk through the woods to the beach is just a joy! Again, sunbeds are plentiful and the beach bar is a nice place to retreat to! Our room was large, exceptionally clean and we were provided with fresh beach towels every evening. Once again, the cleaning staff working exceptionally hard to ensure guests are kept comfortable in their rooms. The bed was comfy, and the pillows were perfectly fine! There is not much we can fault however we both agreed that the food was abit repetitive, although good quality and perfectly pleasant - a bit more variety would have been a bonus. Alongside that, we’ve realised we do like being close to bars / restaurants or places to visit within walking distance. That being said, I cannot mark the hotel down for that because it’s very clear in the description and in other reviews that it is a remote resort so we fully understand. The resort is big enough to enjoy a variety of things to do each day even without leaving the resort! We did take the shuttle to Pizzo which is a lovely little town, and obviously tried the Tartufo which was just exceptional. We would probably return again for another holiday despite the remote location.

We were in the private lodge 'adults only' area and it was a really great experience. The pool area, bars, restaurant, food & drink were excellent. There are buffets, and then there are *buffets*, and these were superb - great quality and huge choice! Really reminds you of the breadth of Italian cuisine beyond the obvious pizzas and pastas - though those were present and brilliant. Immaculately clean and a considerable programme of sports and other events - far too much to do in a week! Diogo our tennis coach for both group and private coaching was a 'step up' from any coaching we've had before and I'd like to think that our play has improved noticeably - though time will tell! :o) The Booking Team were very helpful in arranging an upgrade. Any niggles that we had were very minor.

So where to start ;;; the good i guess the room is lovely staff friendly beach nice and pools very well maintained as well as the baby areas,, I felt let down by the food as well as the bar menu, food is the same pretty much same each day and you have to cobble something together.. so far pizza seems the best choice for consistency, bbq is russibsh don't bother, raw sausage centre and poor service, other items are a miss, cocktails stating mint fruit or cucumber are seldom made correct with just the staple sofa and alcohol that was a shame,, still in resort and trying to work out the best food and drink combos but I would say im overall didsipointsd somewhat even though I wanted this and wanted to be up beat even after some bad reviews hotel cleangliness 4* hotel food 3* drinks 2* shame overall 3* I would say; could be better with just a few tweeks and maybe better management. seems they are just cheaping out on things because it's a family resort. They should be better do better
