"Anetis beach is a wonderful small and friendly beach hotel. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, who was available throughout our stay. We stayed in a standard room on the first floor, which had three single beds and was very spacious, clean, kettle, fridge, great sized bathroom with full bath/over shower and a lovely view of the blue sea. Air con was included and was fantastic given the hot temperature outside. The apartments are in a very central location, close to everything. Attached to the hotel is the Life Time beach bar, with free sunbeds on the garden from the third row in, for paying hotel guests. They had big umbrellas and very close to the sea. The staff at the beach bar were also so friendly and welcoming. We ate breakfast every morning and can well recommend the Zakynthian breakfast for €9.50. Was delicious. The sea on Tsvilivi beach has to be one of the best in Greece. Clear water, soft sand, safe for children and was so warm it was like being in a bath. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay, would most definitely return, recommend and cannot thank Denis and his staff enough, for making our stay such a pleasurable and memorable one!"

"We are still here... We booked a week at Tsvili Beach Hotel as my daughter was turtle volunteering on the island so we decided to chaperone in another part of the island. Her plans got cancelled so we asked the hotel f she could stay with us in our room (bit of a squeeze as 3 of us in a 3 bed room already). The hotel were very accommodating with no issues, great communication. On day 2 we were offered an upgrade to a family room which is beautiful with a sea view. Yes we had to pay for this but great the hotel tried to meet our needs. Staff are friendly, polite and professional. Food is good with a wide selection. If you're fussy about food, eat out! Choice is enough for everyone. Resort is lovely, plenty of bars and restaurants and, as the world cup is on, all showing the matches and are very friendly towards the English (other nationalities are available for comparison 😀) Beach is dark sand, goes out a fair way so great for small children (my youngest is 9 and went out a long way still being able to stand. Daytime entertainment looks ok, not experienced evening but not fussed as we'll do our own thing anyway. We love Greece and this is probably the best hotel we have been to. Recommend? Absolutely."

"Amazing little gem of a hotel. A warm and friendly reception on arrival. All of the staff were amazing. We were half board and all of the meals in the Olive Garden were very delicious. There was an amazing variety of dishes on the menu. If you did not like anything on the menu the waitresses would go out of there way to accommodate your needs which I witnessed on a few occasions. All of the staff were at tentative and would have genuine pleasant conversation with you about your day which gave a pleasant personal touch to our holiday. Pool area very clean always got a sun bed .Must mention Sambucca Bar. It was a very friendly place. You could relax outside or enjoy the music in the bar area. the waiter always remembered what drinks we wanted each evening. Spyros and family this is an amazing friendly run hotel and we enjoyed our stay very much. hope to return again.x"

"Nice hotel - family suite was comfortable & the cleaner was fabulous, came every day & left the room lovely. Breakfast is generally good, but for us the lunch & dinner options were satisfactory. We ate only once in the restaurant for dinner & chose to eat out at nearby restaurants. Drinks & snacks options aren’t great. We personally would not go all inclusive again. Facilities are great - we used the small gym a few times, played pool in the lobby area. Pools are shallow but in hindsight they are great for the games that the entertainment team put on daily. Staff are incredible - entertainment team really do include everyone with pool games, darts, yoga etc. Evening entertainment is run by the same team of 3 as during the day - they are so inclusive. The bar tender by the pool cannot go enough for anyone - such a great asset to the team. Location is great. Bus stop outside, car rental nearby, shops, bars & restaurants only a couple of minutes walk. If you’re looking for a fun holiday but not fussed about the food this is the perfect hotel. Thank you Karras Grande Resort!"

"Just back from a fab week at the palazetto suites. We had the best room over looking the beach ! Our room was bright with stunning sea views . The beds were very comfortable & room was cleaned every day with fresh towels . The bathrooms could be doing with an upgrade but it didn’t spoil our time here . We only ate breakfast here & the dining room is lovely decorated with plenty of choice for breakfast . The pool area was lovely, especially as it’s adult only so no kids in your pool . It’s literally a few steps down to the beach & there is a fab beach bar Seau adjoined to the hotel where we had some great lunches & drinks . Fab holiday & we look forward to returning here in September ."

"Be warned do not waste your money with this hotel we arrrived to be told they were going to move us to their sister hotel in the middle of nowhere as they claimed a/c in room wasn’t working and they had no other rooms available They tried to sell us this sister hotel as an amazing upgrade when we looked at the location it was over 1hrs walk from Tsilivi trying to tell us they would arrange taxis but would have to give them 24hrs notice and had to be back at the hotel by midnight We are not ones to be dictated to especially when an hotel is trying to push us out of resort we love and have visited many times and enjoy a walk around in the resort in the afternoon to the bars etc and where the sister hotel was had nothing all inclusive hotels aren’t something we enjoy or book when on holidays in Greece The attitude of the reception staff also needs to be looked at as one has a very bad attitude after us having to pay for another hotel as we were advised to go back to Planos Beach hotel for a refund on our room tax to be told by the rude receptionist we wasn’t allowed this back even though we had an email from our tour operator advising that they had spoken to the hotel who advised the room tax would be refunded! We decided to leave this to our tour operator who finally did arrange refund back to my debit card"

"Lovely, stylish apartments with all amenities you need. The studios above the pool have a great view and the ground apartments are surrounded with nature and lemon trees. The apartments were cleaned every day. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. Ideal location, within walking distance for the whole of the resort and all of the lovely restaurants. The staff cook and serve nice food at the pool bar and drinks are a reasonable price. We loved our stay, thank you"

"Arrived at this hotel today. We’ve only been here six hours and can’t wait to leave! On being dropped off by coach it was a bit confusing because the hotel is set over three buildings and opposite each other. The male receptionist was welcoming. The hotel has ‘3’ pools, the main pool is busy, small and there were not any beds available. It seems towels are not provided as all guests seemed to have their own (something I’ve never seen in a hotel). We arrived at 2.30 and we told we had missed lunch but snacks would be available at 4pm, interesting as we’ve never been to an AI where food wasn’t served all day. The snacks turned out to be sandwiches which were highly undesirable. The veggie option was a piece of lettuce and a bit of tomato, quite dreadful. Our room was ok, but the toilet seat and shower are broken. We have a balcony but it’s not private and overlooks other rooms and is also over looked by other rooms, the hotel has a weird layout. There is a rooftop bar with a very shallow small ‘pool’ all inclusive drinks are not served at this venue we had to buy them. On arrival at the pool bar we were greeted by a very unfriendly and unhelpful female. The AI drinks list is very limited with only four ‘cocktails’ available, the drinks are tasteless. I asked if I could have my drink in a glass and I was told in no uncertain terms that the plastic beakers were for AI and the glasses were available if you paid for different drinks. We’ve never had to drink out of plastic beakers before, it’s degrading. This evening we went for dinner and to be honest had very little hope of anything good, we were not proved wrong. The buffet food is tepid and unaspiring, even the Greek salad didn’t look appetising, this is hard to comprehend. The staff were nice but clearly not enough to cover the amount of guests. I had to find my own chair, cutlery and placemat. I even had to hunt down a member of staff to order drinks. We’ve stayed in many AI hotels in many countries but we have to say this is by far the worst. It definitely isn’t a 4 star, a 2 at the most. I would definitely recommend not opting for AI and saving your money to go out for nice food and drinks. We have asked our tour company to try and find us an alternative hotel and we absolutely cannot stay here, it’s extremely disappointing. We work hard to pay for holidays and this has already ruined our trip. It’s below par for sure. We were so surprised as the reviews seemed positive, people must be writing about a different place! I’ve never written such a bad review in my life. I regret choosing this hotel and only hope we can be moved to something more appropriate."
