It is already the best hotel in the area, but the hotel is very old. The lobby looks okay, but there is a very strong musty smell in the room. On the outskirts of Kandy, the top of the mountain. The road up the mountain is steep and rugged, but after entering the hotel, it is small and exquisite, full of human touch, the restaurant overlooks the Kandy Valley, the scenery is very good. It is worth mentioning the service attitude: We bring a child, and we add the extra cost of 15-20 knife in basically all hotels, but here we are exempted and a child breakfast is also given. Especially to highlight is the evening buffet, originally wanted to order a single point, the manager repeatedly persuaded, in the mentality of not giving them trouble to barely order the self-help, the result found to be an unexpected surprise. Just... It's really quite meticulous and delicious. Especially after eating a few days of five-star unflattering buffet, it was absolutely a surprise here. When I opened the room, there was a musty smell. Since it was a view room with a curtain wall on the exterior, the windows could not be opened. The air conditioner had to be turned on at full power for half an hour before the musty smell gradually dissipated. The location is not far from the top of the mountain, far away from Kandy Lake, and the lake cannot be seen from the rooftop observation deck. The facilities are okay, the service attitude is okay, and the food tastes great. Overall not recommended.

Originally booked Grand, who knew that it was cancelled without reason before check-in, it was really speechless, and then I was forced to change this one when I was playing. This one has a good environment, but the location is too biased and there is nothing around. Originally, Kandy is the mountain city, eating is not convenient, The overall view of the top of the mountain is not as good as I booked before, but I can't see anything, because I went out to eat and passed by, the grand location is excellent. The room facilities are old, the roof is covered with foam, the service is not bad, the price is high, and the price is not high. Breakfast is also ordered.

getting to the hotel is a small chore, but you are rewarded with a decent view. The hotel, isn't really a hotel. So i found it a little hard to find. Because it's a house that's been converted. The rooms are a decent size, well decorated and offer great views of Kandy. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. It feels very chilled when sit out on your own private terrace. I'm not entirely sure that the hotel is worth it's high price though. hmmm, well given the price of the room. you only get one towel, what's that about! But the thing that stung and led me to leave a low mark was the food. You're kind of a captive audience and the hotel know it, given it's location up in the hills. The hotel offered a set dinner menu for LKR6000 ($20) per person. The usual price of a decent sized dinner is about LKR2000 per person. So how was dinner you ask.. well, and when I tell you, I'm not joking in the slightest when i tell you what I was served. so the d'oeuvres - A slice of white bread cut into the shape of a heart, on top of this romantically shaped bread. Three mini Ritz crackers (seriously) with cream cheese on top. Then a small salad in a cocktail glass which was ok. followed by Heinz tomato soup. followed by some oven made, veggie burgers, with some creamy veg, which was clearly from a packet. I was actually laughing when they were serving me these dishes, making it out to be something really posh. So please hotel, bear in mind that you would have got a much higher score if you hadn't charged me and the other guests that were staying there $20 for something that was clearly worth $2. Ritz crackers! haha are you seriously joking with that.

The environment is much better than in Kandy. Going through a bumpy road. It's very gray. Sometimes it's blocked. The hotel was nice to check in early when we checked in that day. As the brother of the Tutu bus in Colombo was too enthusiastic to help us buy a seven-point train ticket, the next morning at breakfast, Ms. Checkin came over to say one of the reservations. To make up the difference. I think the hotel in Sri Lanka is curious that the price for one and two people is different. Later, the difference was more expensive than Ctrip.
