"We had stayed at this hotel before so did not hesitate in returning.We were returning for a family wedding and our 40th wedding anniversary. I had asked for an upgrade however this did not happen. The room was small and extremely hot as the aircon didn’t work correctly consequently we had 5 poor nights sleep. The room itself was a little tired and the bathroom definitely could do with sympathetic modernisation. ( the bath had a chip in it) The hotel staff are so friendly and helpful so the above was disappointing. The hotel is situated perfectly near the old town but in a quiet square. It is a quirky and traditional hotel with a beautiful garden including a parrot! The breakfast is good and buffet style and there is the option of cooked eggs etc. The adjoining restaurant facing the square is excellent and offers traditional Mallorcan food. I returned to the hotel but felt a little disappointed this time and sleep deprived! We were given beach towels and pool towels which was a great help and a lovely packed breakfast for our journey home."

"My wife and I have just had a 12 night stay at these apartments. The apartments are spacious, clean and comfortable, and there is an excellent walk in shower. There is a small kitchen area, but we did find the area a bit too small when making something for lunch. The cleaners arrived each day, and did a great job. We used the Villa Concha facilities a few times, particularly the first few days when we had our family and including our three year old granddaughter, and she loved the pools and particularly the mini disco! After they had gone home, we tended to use the beach, which is a very short walk away, as are the local shops. There is very little to criticise about this place, other than we found it extremely quiet, particularly in the evenings, and when sitting on the balcony in the apartment, we almost felt like we had to whisper! There is very little in the way of entertainment in the evenings, and the bar area was usually empty when we turned up at around 9.30pm, and on a couple of occasions we struggled to get a coffee, as the machine had been switched off. Many of the occupants are keen cyclists, and I think it’s very much a case of early to bed and early to rise, but it did create a dull atmosphere. On our last night, we did have an issue with a barmaid who was rude and uncooperative, and we raised this separately with the management, who responded very quickly, which was much appreciated. To finish in a very positive note, with the one exception just mentioned, the staff were fantastic - reception, cleaners, waiters, bar staff, all friendly, professional and keen to help. We probably won’t return, as we found it too quiet ( and we are in our 60’s!) , but if that’s what you like, or you are one of the cyclists that I referred to, then I wouldn’t fault it."

"I was happy when we arrived that we were staying in this charming snd character hotel rather than the modern monster next door. The hotel is small and has a charm. The rooms are modern, well fitted and good air con. The location is amazing for the town being next to one beach and 5 mins walk from the other better beach. Drinks in the early evening at their terrace overlooking the beach is lovely. We didnt use the roof top pool or terrace as the beach is close. The breakfast was good if not the same most days. Excellent smoothies especially the detox on a sunday. Very happy to recommend this hotel based on price, service and amazing location."

"We had the pleasure of staying at the Calvario Plaza for one night in late October. The hotel is a gem of a boutique residence, situated at the bottom of the famous steps to El Calvari. The charming hotel has a handful of beautifully presented rooms, with exposed original stonework and dual aspect windows overlooking the picturesque Placa del Seglars. Here, you can watch people start their arduous trek up the 365 steps to the chapel. The wonderful location and quality on offer were equalled by the breakfast we had the following morning. The food was beautifully presented, avocado, salmon and scrambled eggs with some of the best coffee we have had on the Island. The Calvario Plaza was five star quality , service and location without the 5* price tag. We would highly recommend the hotel, if you are looking for a getaway in the Centre of Pollenca."

"We had a really relaxing stay in this apartment block. Check in was easy and the apartment was spotlessly clean as were the communal areas. Everything was attractively coordinated in style. Facilities worked well and the kitchen was fully equipped. The apartment was serviced every other day. Its position, at the top end of town suited us perfectly as it was quiet and peaceful but it is a little walk to the shops and bars. We would return without hesitation. We were extremely satisfied . Thank you."

"My husband and I recently spent 7 nights at Son Brull Luxury Hotel. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful countryside in the Tramuntana mountains and is located 30 minutes from the airport and 5 minutes by car from Pollenca. It’s a stunning historic property that’s been converted into a boutique hotel and clearly had no expense spared in the quality of the architecture, fittings and landscaping. The grounds are extensive and the pool and terrace areas are peaceful and pleasant with a choice of sunloungers / daybeds and magnificent views. For such a relatively small hotel, Son Brull punches above its weight as far as dining options are concerned. This is both in terms of the variety of dining settings and also the extent of menu choices. Furthermore it’s feasible to eat more than once at the fine dining, fixed menu, 365 Restaurant as residents are able to choose from an alternate menu subject to 24 hours advance notice. A real standout at Son Brull is the people. Even before we arrived we were impressed with how quickly emails were turned around and arrangements handled. Every request throughout our stay was actioned perfectly by their lovely natured and helpful team. Overall we had a good stay however, there were a couple of negatives: Bedroom - wardrobe hanging space was practically non existent (only room for five hangers due to the way the wardrobe was constructed) and there was no dressing table with mirror which meant sitting on the edge of the bath to dry hair, apply make-up etc. This is not satisfactory in a hotel that has the price point of Son Brull. Local taxi service - it seems to be very hit and miss as to whether and when you are able to secure a taxi to and from the hotel. It’s apparently the case that taxis are only available to be ordered via an app and that no updates are provided as to when the taxi will arrive. Neither are they pre-bookable in advance. We had to cancel a dinner reservation in Pollenca due to the hotel being unable to secure a taxi for us. On one occasion, we also waited more than half an hour at the taxi rank in Pollenca to return to the hotel at 1pm in the afternoon. Maybe the hotel could consider providing a local shuttle service to give guests certainty of travel to and from Pollenca."

"Definitely a five. This is a superb hotel with excellent friendly and professional staff. This was our fifth visit and we have already booked for next year. The breakfasts are the best hotel breakfast we have ever had all beautifully laid out by the smartly dressed kitchen staff. Christophe and Manuel head up a super team of waiting staff. Everything is very clean. Staff very helpful."

"We stayed here for the 1st 5 nights of our 2 week holiday and had an amazing time. We had a 1st floor apartment with a lovely big terrace, with table & chairs and 2 sun loungers - the perfect setting to spend an evening, watching the world go by. The apartments and complex was spotlessly clean with everything you need, right on the doorstep. We ate in the restaurant on our first night and were really impressed by the standard and value of the food. We were sad to leave and will stay longer next time."

"This was our third visit to Habitat and once again it didn't disappoint! Apartment was fresh, spacious, bright and clean. Beds were comfortable and had a good night sleep every night. The location is great - there is a small supermarket across the road has all your basic needs plus freshly cooked, warm baguettes and pastries. There is also a bar if you don't want to walk to Puerto Pollensa. The walk to Puerto Pollensa is about 15-20 mins however, we jumped on the bus just on the road outside which stops at the bus depot and is a couple of minutes walk to the town centre."
