Wave Resort - Ultra All Inclusive

Thank you Wave resort Pomirie for a wonderful holiday, the food was excellent, the entertainment was great, the staff at the wave were are exceptional,but i must give a special mention to MIRA Jet2 Rep so helpfull and the ultimate professional, and a charming manor, I will certainly come again, in fact I have already booked for next year ! One of the best all inclusive hotel resort I've visited. The spa facilities are excellent. The best I’ve ever tried. I would recommend the wave massage,salt room, and the salt Hydro pool. I will definitely be trying the rest when I go back. The staff are very helpful and always greet you with a smile. Plus, I was able to drive my scooter straight into the spa area, which was a bonus. Which I managed to hire out there. You won’t be disappointed, something for everyone. See you soon ️

We're now on the final night of our (short) stay at Wave Resort, and I’ll start with the bottom line: we liked it, we recommend it, and we’ll most likely return. Overall, the positives clearly outweigh the negatives. Positives: The rooms are spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean, with at least a partial sea view from every one. The resort facilities are impressive: multiple well-maintained pools (one of which is heated), water slides for both older children and adults, as well as gentler options for younger kids. The spa is lovely, featuring several saunas and two pools, one with water jets. There's also a designated adults-only area, which is a nice touch. The food is good, and the drinks are decent. Areas for Improvement: Bathroom privacy could be better, especially when staying with children. You can choose between getting a bathrobe or a towel for the loungers — not both, which feels limiting. The beach is underwhelming: small pebbles instead of sand, uncomfortable loungers, no side tables or ashtrays, and the umbrellas are quite worn. Room soundproofing isn't great; you can hear cars from the nearby express road. Wi-Fi near the beach is almost non-functional. Arcade games are available, but you have to pay extra to use them. The hotel is somewhat isolated — it's surrounded by fields, with the nearest town about 15 minutes away by car. Despite these minor issues, we had a great time and appreciated the resort’s overall quality and offerings.

The hotel itself is amazing. Great facilites, spacious and modern design with an amazing gym/spa area as well as great food variety for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The rooms are well designed and spacious however room service could be improved. As a family of multiple people, some days we were only restocked with one toilet roll which is insiffucient. The gym hours are quite short from 8am-8pm. For a 5 star hotel, the gym hours should definitely be lengthened for early birds or late goers especially as the children's area/games room are open for longer into the evening. The bistro is a very nice addition to complement the restaurants. The hotel grounds are impressive and plenty of sun bed loungers.

We've just come back from a long weekend at the Wave resort, the hotel was spotless! Staff were very welcoming and the all inclusive was the best we've had our room was so spacious and there is everything needed onsite, it is quite away from everything but all you need is onsite, pools galore to choose from water slides a spa, a shop onsite for anything you may have left and needed also a dr onsite. I'd love to come back to the Wave Resort one day! I only have videos and no pictures without my children in them to share unfortunately this resort is stunning.

Hotel is stunning inside and out. Rooms are well equipped, larger than usual hotel rooms, comfortable, lots of storage. We arrived late Saturday night quickly checked in hotel was very noisy due to the entertainment inside the lobby. We had booked side sea view rooms for us both. We had emailed ahead requesting rooms together or at least on the same floor, they were but one had a pool view the other the car park. Went to express our disappointment to management who kindly explained the hotel was full with a Bulgarian conference and after they had checked out she would see if she could change rooms. This request was met on the Monday so we both had a pool view. All areas of the hotel were spotless with constant cleaning and polishing. Food was plentiful apart from breakfast which understandably was repetitive there was lots to choose from at all times even for the picky eaters. Some days were better than others think it depended on the occupancy. Big disappointment was some things were not open till 15th May or 1st June. Beach bar, entertainment area, snack bar all closed. We had 2 small children with us who had been so excited about the splash park and big slides but these were not open. Part of the children’s pool was open but on a few days shut down at 4pm even though children were still playing. Customer relations explained it was due to hotel discretion and after a few guests complaining it was left open till 5pm. I could imagine in the height of the season it would be very busy. Loads of sun beds in all areas. Adult only sunbathing areas were a good idea. Indoor pools easy to access and to use. Didn’t use the spa. On-site shop sold everything you may need and prices were reasonable. Fountain show at night was amazing. Having an on-site doctor was very helpful and she was lovely and calm with my 2 year old granddaughter. They do seem to rent out the very large conference rooms at the weekend (totally don’t blame them) although this did spoil our last day due to a dancing competition and lots of participants and their families taking over the relaxing area on the lower floor. It was quite annoying not to be able to sit quietly and enjoy a coffee and a snack as we had a late flight home. There had been a storm the night before so obviously pretty much all guests wanted to use the space aswell. We didn’t use the gym but it looked well equiped and we didn’t use the al a carte restaurants. Baby food, cartons of juice, pouches of baby food were all an excellent idea and something we hadn’t seen before. There is also a small children’s dining area. We had booked this a year in advance and apart from our disappointments would recommend anyone to visit. The animation team work very hard and were pleasant and friendly to talk to. Beach is easy to access. Free Shuttle bus to Pomorie excellent idea.

Came here with my partner and 4 year old at the beginning of May. Genuinely no complaints, very very clean from our room to the communal areas and pools. Location ideal for us as we weren't bothered about leaving the hotel- everything is a taxi ride. 20 minutes from Bougas airport- fab with an impatient 4 year old. Food was lovely, good variety, cooked well, clean buffet. We didn't try the a la carte so can't comment on those. Food and drinks available 24/7 Drinks were brilliant, good choice of cocktails and spirits and Heinekein on tap too. Our room was perfect, clean, well laid out, mini bar refilled everyday, no complaints. Entertainment was indoor as it wasn't peak season, our son enjoyed the mini disco. Some great music on In the lobby bar aswell, a great sax player one night. Check in and out was a bit slow but no big issue. Kids club/park area was great, animation team were fabulous. Pools were cold, but again this was due to the season, didn't stop us spending our days around the semi Olympic pool which did warm up on the hotter days. Splash park was safe for young kids. Indoor pools were lovely and warmer for the cloudy days, floor was slightly slippy in the indoor pool. WiFi throughout the hotel. Great atmosphere generally in the hotel, the staff were polite and helpful whenever we had any queries. The fountains were lovely to watch on an evening when all lit up. Our only slight disappointment was there was no sports bar, not a huge deal for me,but my partner was a little disappointed. 100% would return at the same time of year. It was quiet and perfect for what we wanted. Travelled 1st-8th May.
