Facilities: The shower head has a perfect water output, hahaha; the air conditioner is very cool!
Service: The staff is very nice and enthusiastic; the breakfast is also very rich

Highly recommend this hostel. It was my first stay in a hostel as there was a big event happening this weekend and hotels were very pricey. Therefore I thought I would give it a try as it looked very decent from the pictures and reviews. I was correct! I stayed 3 nights. Very clean and over the top helpful and friendly staff. Especially TELMA! She was awesome! You can tell all the staff actually cared about their jobs and made it that much more inviting. Comfortable sleep and very close to everything. Even helped me with airport transfers, day tours and general knowledge of the island. Loved my stay! Sincerely, Daniel

I've stayed in many hostels, and everything was fine. The City Hostel is a complete disaster! Sleep is impossible; the roommates are constantly coming and going all night long. All the doors are very loud. There's no storage space in the room, just an OSB compartment for personal belongings. The breakfast was monotonous; something was often missing, like milk or butter. The coffee was just ground cereal that you had to mix yourself. I stayed there with a friend and had to sleep in four different beds. Upon arrival, we had to sleep in dirty sheets. The room allocation leaves a lot to be desired. The worst part is the cockroach infestation. In the kitchen and at the reception desk, these cute little creatures were lying dead on their backs in the morning. The pesticides were probably always sprayed at night. The reception is only sporadically staffed for a few hours in the morning.
