A warm welcome by reception staff on arrival. Very helpful and informative. Room was clean and comfortable with everything you need. Fantastic location with lovely views. Riggers restaurant was great. Breakfast was fresh and lots of choice. We booked in for dinner both nights of our stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. Booked in for the college tour which was included. Very interesting and well worth doing! A fab weekend all round and we look forward to our next visit.

Wow. Lucky to be part of the RNLI family, my son, who is also crew, and I visited the great college overnight. Right from the start, the welcome we received from the reception was top notch. It was apparent just how much all the staff enjoyed working there. The room was fantastic and overlooked the sea. Beds are so comfortable with tea and coffee. Sunset was out of this world. Breakfast was included, and as much as you can eat. I loved every minute. Did the tour where Chris was a star. Loved the simulator experience and the engine section. I would definitely recommend staying overnight and the tour. Well worth the money, and you're helping a very special charity and family who save anyone who find themselves in peril on the sea. No matter where they are from or who they are. Thank you everyone.

I just cannot praise this place highly enough. Everything about it was warm and welcoming. Felt as if I was coming home, yet I had never been before. For a solo traveller this welcome feeling is so important. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. I can't fault any of them. They all went out of their way to help me. The room was amazing, everything you could possibly want or need, has been thought of. The views were stunning. The restaurant and bar area were so aesthetically pleasing. There was a lovely feel to upstairs bar area itself. The breakfast was lovely with a huge selection. The only downside was that I had to come home. I could have quite happily moved in!!

We had a really lovely time staying here. The hotel is so Interesting , great to Be amongst all the lifeboats and training college. It’s perfectly clean and modern - nothing feels tired, it’s as if it’s brand new. The rooms are great - plenty of space . Comfortable beds and pillows . Lovely view. Fridges in the room too which is a bonus. The welcome was warm and friendly by the reception lady, she was very professional and pleasant . We will definitely return.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. It was very clean and the views from the bar, restaurant and rooms were superb across the waterfront. The rooms were very nice and also very clean and the breakfast was very good. Would highly recommend to stay here and found it to be very good value for money. There is some scaffolding up at the moment around the restaurant and bar, but that certainly didn't ruin our stay in any shape or form.

We went to the Riggers restaurant at the RNLI Poole Quay for Sunday lunch. From their main menu we had the salmon starter which was delicious and well presented. For the main we had their trio of meats, pork, beef and Turkey with Yorkshire pudding and stuffing. This was accompanied by a trio of vegetable dishes, ie roast potatoes. Carrots and parsnips and cauliflower, broccoli beans, in a cheese sauce. This came with a jug of gravy. To accompany a large glass of delicious malbec, very scrummy. The level of service was first class in particular Nick who was kind and helpful. Can't think.of a better place for Sunday lunch.
