We were delighted when the hotel upgraded our room—it was spacious, beautifully decorated, and featured a stunning balcony overlooking the lake. Waking up to those views was truly magical! The spa experience was exceptional. The massages were some of the best I’ve ever had—deeply relaxing and rejuvenating. The spa facilities were immaculate, and the overall atmosphere was serene and calming, making it easy to unwind completely. The staff were wonderful—warm, attentive, and always ensuring we had everything we needed. They made us feel so special throughout our stay. Dining at the retreat was another highlight. The food was exquisite, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and the lakefront setting added an extra layer of charm to every meal. "we’re really disappointed with the hotel room we were given. The room we were given is significantly different from what was shown on the hotel’s listing when we booked online. The photos and descriptions on the website compared to reality, the room is outdated, poor condition and dirty. This discrepancy feels misleading and not in line with the booking terms. We booked in good faith based on the advertised images and amenities, and we are extremely disappointed with what we’ve received. We have paid $470 euros a night to get a horrible experience. We have shared our feedback with the hotel, instead they get super defensive versus trying to work things out for us. I do not recommend this place to anyone."
