Blue Ivy is a very nice hotel with a great location in Protaras area. I would reccomend it mainly for families. It has one pool for adults and one pool for kids. The adults pool is nice but I expected it a bit larger for the size of the hotel... The restaurant is exactly near the adults pool and it's very decent. Breakfast is superb and staff is super nice. Overall I had a good experience.

We booked this hotel for a girls trip. From the point of contact the hotel staff have been amazing and nothing lhas been to much trouble. David kindly helped us by giving suggestions for hotel transfers. On the second day here whilst we were having breakfast, a lovely English lady called Hailey came over to welcome us and she was very warm and friendly. She advised us on things to do around the area. She was then kind enough to offer us a complimentary 50% voucher off for food and unlimited drinks for that evening. We had booked B&B as we enjoy exploring the local area. That evening at dinner a lovely gentleman came over to say hello to us. His manner was so warm and welcoming and we only realised afterwards that this was the General manager Nicos. He was so lovely, that he upgraded us to a superior sea front room. The coffee machine in the room was amazing. My friend and I are staying in room 328....which gives a beautiful sea view. We would definitely recommend this hotel to couples/friends and d families for its location to beach and local restaurants and amenities. But we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Nicos who has an amazing team of staff who all go out of their way to smile and make you feel like nothing is too much. Nicos seems to have a warm relationship with his staff and guests and always comes out to greet his guests, giving a personal touch. We have 2 more days at this lovely hotel. What a lovely and immaculate hotel in the Protaras area. I have been trying to book this hotel since it was first opened in 2018, then covid happened, and the rest was history. Fast forward to 2024, after numerous attempts to book the Blue Ivy for a family of 6, I finally did, and it was such a great satisfaction. The hotel does live up to the TA reviews and what you see it exactly what you get in terms of the cleanliness of the hotel, close proximity to the beach, great variety of food selection, atmosphere within the hotel and surroundings and most especially the wonderful service and hospitality provided by the hotel staff. Nicos the hotel manager is a wonderful person and can be easily approached for ANYTHING and this goes for most of his other staff. Even though he couldn't guarantee us a late check out, on our final day, he presented us with a voucher that allowed us 50% off anything purchased in the hotel. Everything that this hotel exhibits has been highlighted by most on TA. I would highly recommend staying at the BlH in the future. It was a great pleasure to finally get to experience this gem of a place.

What a lovely hotel this is and the staff are so nice and pleasant. The food choice was excellent and of great quality, we really felt welcome by all staff and i struck up a freindly relationship with the restaurant manager (He sat at a table with my partner and other waiters and gave me the order book to take their orders) which was actually quite funny. Overall i was more than happy with everything apart from a couple of little gripes which were... Some meat dish choices could be cold especially the ones in a sauce and that happened to me most of the two weeks i was staying there but maybe that was because i went for dinner fairly late most nights. I got a room call to say that the smoke alarm in our room was going off a lot but we didn't smoke in the room or balcony, previously a maid had left a no smoking note over a cigarette packet on our bed because she found these on the dressing table so maybe there is a connection there but we were really annoyed at that. It was difficult to get a sun lounger as people ran for them as soon as the red tape was taken down, so were even throwing their towels ahead to land on the beds first so a lot of the older guests ended up at the smaller less popular kids pool. This will have to be looked at by managment as it was a big issue for a lot of people. The Bulgarian head barman in the upstairs lounge was a bit unfreindly to start with but as the holiday wore on he became more chatty but still retained a sort of dry humour which was fine by me. Khan the assistant was a delightful young Pakistani who chatted with us every time we went there. These are small issues and ones that could easily be remedied and in no way marred our stay. A big thanks to all the staff who made our holiday so memorable.

I do not usually write reviews but felt the need regarding the seven nights of pure bliss that myself and my wife enjoyed. The hospitality and professional mannerism with dedicated attention that we received and all other guest was priceless. Hotel was spotless with elegant interior design, food was outstanding especially the all carte menu at lunch times with so much choice, recommend the pork skewers and jumbo pork chop. Dinner buffet was also outstanding with various theme nights best Hotel i have stayed if you are foody the reviews are true. The drinks are of branded choice and preparation was excellent along with the bar service, Nikos GM introduced all the hotel staff which i thought was a excellent touch and thrives to offer the best service. The hotel exceeded my expectations and i have already booked our return for June 2026, shout out to the staff and a big thank you too ( Pool Bar, Peter, Zoe,Kathaleene) (Utopia Restaurant, Marinos restaurant manager, Sherry, Andreas, and all staff.
