Melini Hotel Suites

I cannot recommend this hotel enough! After 33 years of visiting cyprus and the same area we’ve found this gem of a place!!!! A family run hotel! Just how Cyprus’s hotels used to be! Silvana & Christina, along with their amazing staff made our stay one of the best we’ve ever had. Hotel is clean, comfortable and the food is fantastic. None of the All Inclusive free for all out of the troughs. Breakfast is buffet style with a variety of options including full English. Evening meal was cooked fresh from a menu full of choice!! Fantastic!! I cannot fault it in any way! Also the kids were well catered for a spoiled & nothing was too much trouble. Lovely stay, lovely family❤️

Clean and modern decorated room. Cleaners always working hard. Central position. Reception staff brilliant. The best hotel with value for money in protaras and my sister and I have tried many of the hotels in protaras over 17 years. Love you Mellini.!!

We received a very warm welcome on arrival and check in was fast. Our studio room was spotlessly clean with a lovely large bathroom, well equipped kitchen area, ample storage space and a balcony. It was cleaned almost daily but you could ask the cleaning staff for anything you needed on days it wasn’t. The shower was a large walk in one with a soaker and a spray and there was plenty of hot water. The hotel general areas were spotlessly clean too and very tasteful and welcoming. Reception staff always had a smile and couldn’t do enough to help with any questions about the area or booking trips. They genuinely made us feel welcome and valued. The pool area was lovely, again very clean and well looked after. There were always sun beds available for anyone wanting them. The ice cream parlour and Island Affair snack bar/restaurant were super. Great variety and great prices. The location of the hotel is perfect. Just out the door and you are in the heart of the resort with massive choice of bars and restaurants. The beach is a 5 minute walk. This hotel was perfect for us and we would not hesitate to return and recommend.

I never usually leave reviews but feel like I have to as I don’t believe the 4/5 rating on trip advisor reflects this hotel at all. Upon checking into our first room, we noticed it had hardly been cleaned since the last guests. Dirty microwave, coffee spilt all up the wall and skirting boards, grease all over the TV, cupboards and doors. Hairs in the bed, blood on the bathroom floor, food receipts from previous guests. When reporting this to reception we didn’t receive an apology just that they would send cleaners up. We declined this as we had been travelling since 3am. The receptionist put me on the phone to someone who I believe was her boss for me to explain the whole situation again. Only after this were we then moved to a different room which was slightly better but still appalling, the cleaning was basically none existent. The microwave was filthy again along with the fridge, hairs everywhere, muck in the shower tray and razor protectors from the previous guests. The cleaners were sent up but this didn’t make much difference. Again no apology of the inconvenience caused we just had to put up with their standards of ‘clean’. The next day we were left an apology note along with a bottle of Prosecco but first impressions are always the most important and this didn’t help improve the situation at all. Throughout our stay our room wasn’t cleaned, only our beds were made and towels replaced. I wouldn’t recommend staying in this hotel unless you like to stay in the previous guests filth.

This family run hotel is located centre of protaras and is an excellent choice for our holidays for the past 6 years staff are really friendly and the restaurant is first class .the breakfast is pretty basic but a fair choice ,to be honest it's better than most places on the *****
