Second year going to Atlantica Aqua Blue and it did not disappoint again! I’ve never gone back to a hotel before but this hotel is gorgeous, food is amazing with a different theme each night…buffet style. We went in a large group 15 of us with friends, family and children. All the staff work so hard. Andreas, , Effie and Petrov really made our stay so enjoyable. Andreas reserved a table for our group each morning and evening, so we could all eat together. So friendly and helpful, nothing was too much. They even arranged a cake for one of the party’s birthday and had the whole restaurant singing. The drinks were so varied, lots of amazing cocktails made by Effie and Petrov! Entertainment this year was great, evening for the kids face painting and a disco. For adults, music singer, saxophonist, violinist. The weather was hot, cloudy some days but you can walk into Protaras or catch a bus to Aiya Napa, cave exploring. On hot days, the pool area is lovely with a great food from the bar. Would recommend this holiday over and over.

We had a lovely 5 day at this hotel. We got a fantastic welcome and our room was immaculate. Clean, spacious and well positioned. Temperature was controlled well too! Pool area was clean (could be cleaner) and pool was nice. Freezing cold but it is April - It will be lovely in the summer. Staff around pool work tirelessly to do activities. Restaurant staff are an absolute credit to the hotel. The Managers are both lovely and accommodating. The food was a good variety each night. There is a small beach about 2 mins away which is a nice break. You have to pay E2.50 for a lounger (if the guy is there). It is about 30 min walk to Protarus - bit long in the summer heat! But a nice walk along the coast. Only negatives - Noisy guests. Our neighbours were bouncing balls every night on a ceramic floor and running in corridors. I don't understand why some people think they are so entitled - Pool area was not generally cleaned well. Glasses and food boxes left over night. - No indoor pool (?) I'm sure it was advertised as having one. - Gym was disappointing for the size of the hotel. For us, this was an amazing hotel but there is nothing around. Protarus is a good 30 minute walk away. If you just want a holiday in a hotel and not move out this is perfect but if you like getting out think first!

Well what can I say. Amazing! Absolutely loved this hotel from the moment we arrived, Andreas in the restaurant went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and my son absolutely loved looking for him at every mealtime when Andreas would call him Lord Sugar! The rooms were amazing, the beds comfortable, always a sunbed available and the food was amazing and we couldn't fault it. If I was to have one complaint it was that the pool area was often not cleaned well enough. We did mention this and were aware that it was hosed down, but tables by the beds were often dirty, under the beds where drinks had spilt were left where ants would appear. Little things that I feel at the beginning of season are small issues, but could become a bigger issue in the height of the summer. All in all a beautiful hotel, just a few small minor details need closer attention.

On arrival first impressions were good. The hotel is modern and looks impressive from the outside. On entering, the hotel looked clean, most staff are friendly, reception is questionable. Check in was quick. You are not given any sort of welcome pack just a QR code. You can download an app which allows to you open your door without a key card, which was quite good. However, you don’t get told anything such as where to get towels, restaurant opening times etc. nothing. The rooms were modern but not always very clean. Many days we returned to our room to find additional long black hairs on the floor both in bedroom and bathroom. Did not belong to either of us. There were also hairs on our bed mattress protector. One night my bed was unfortunate and under the sheets there was a curtain rail hook. Cleanliness does not come very high here! Room size is a little on the small size. We had a wheelchair with us and to get it into the room it had to be folded to get by the bed. Room does have a mini bar if all Inclusive, however it only gets filled once during your stay then its chargeable. I have never had to pay extra for a mini bar when AlI inclusive even staying in other hotels including Atlantica hotels. This hotel has water refilling stations throughout the hotel at the pool sides & in room corridors. It does not give you bottled water. Again, this is the first hotel we’ve stayed in which does this even in Cyprus. It would have been nice if this was advertised so you bring refillable bottles with you. Food was not the best and although an all inclusive hotel the restaurant didn’t have much atmosphere and felt like a canteen especially at night. We had to queue to be seated then queue for food, often empty spaces and food and plates not being replaced. You never new if the food would be hot or cold. Often certain foods were not available as they had run out for the day, especially in the morning such as fresh orange juice or grapes. At night you would have to wait for the food to be replaced. The were times when there were not plates or bowls for the food. Some guests made a mess in the food area, but staff didn’t bother to clear away, which I appreciate is not a nice part of the job but does need doing. We ate out more than in as the food just wasn’t the best. We did hire a car which we found to be a life saver. We ate our most days, just returning to sleep, which is not good when we’ve paid thousands to stay here AI. The pool is not very accessible for people with limited ability or disabled. Only 3 slippery and slimy steps to get in and out of the pools. The pool doesn’t get cleaned very well and you often see slim on the sides of the pool. As they day goes on the area around pools become very slippery and at night when they get cleaned, they are even worse than during the day, especially the area to the al a carte restaurant. My husband could not use the pool due to the access and I had trouble also getting in and out. There ar

We arrived at this hotel around 10:40 PM with our two children, feeling hungry after our journey, only to find that the only food available was a couple of stale ham and cheese sandwiches—clearly ready to be thrown out—offered to us with compliments by the, albeit lovely, receptionist. The hotel appeared quite dark as it was late, and it seemed a little run-down, with broken fire doors (missing glass and extremely heavy and difficult to open). However, the rooms were clean, and we were pleased to see UK sockets conveniently placed around the room. The most surprising thing the next morning was seeing a man smoking a cigar outside our room in the corridor! As non-smokers, this was disappointing, and it was clear that the hotel is very lax when it comes to enforcing smoking restrictions. It felt like a smoker’s paradise—smoke was everywhere. We couldn’t even enjoy the very soggy, stale Greek salad from the pool bar without being surrounded by the constant smell of smoke by the pool. The food in the main cafeteria was incredibly disappointing; the cheap, lukewarm dishes were awful, with the only edible options being the fruits and desserts in the evening. To make matters worse, I found a long hair in my baked beans one morning—thankfully, we only booked for a week. The weather was very hot during our stay (18/07/24), so guests with shared swim-up facilities benefitted from the sun. However, the main pool areas were extremely crowded, and there was a lot of chair-reserving happening, especially around the kids’ pools. Overall, I wouldn’t return to this hotel. It’s certainly not worth a 4-star rating—2.5 stars would be more fitting.

A very honest review from a couple with a 7yr old son. We arrived and had to change rooms the following day due to being put in a room which was too small and was not what had been booked. Food fantastic, yes can be cold at times but we didnt find that a big issue to be honest. Drinks are quite good. Are conditioning was not what we have experienced before. The air con was set to 23. We could not lower this. We had to approach reception and ask them. They would not go below 21. It turns on and off continuously when the room hits that temperature. Entertainment for the children was not great. Our son likes music and disco, this was only in the children's kids club. A singer or other performer on the terrace in the evenings. We caught the bus a few times into protaras and into ayia napa. Very easy to do so definitely do this. Nicolas at the pool bar was friendly and always happy to help. All the pools are 1.4 metres deep. The splash park is the only one that isn't. Get up early to reserve a decent bed. Overall a good holiday but wouldn't return due to the entertainment for our son being poor.

We've had truly amazing holiday!!! Me and my family loved the hotel so much. It's really family friendly hotel, the staff are really nice, polite and they make you feel welcomed. They have always been ready to help us or give us an advice on how to spend a day out of the hotel. Rooms were always clean, cleaned daily. Food was good and staff in the restaurant was really nice as well ! Hotel has many bars where you can get very nice drinks made by always smiling bartenders. Special thank you to Effie, who has made our nights in a lobby bar very enjoyable. We really enjoyed morning yoga and aqua aerobics in the pool with lovely entertainment ladies Bibi, Kiki and Sophia. They do activities every hour everyday, so if you like active holidays, definitely go for this hotel! Unfortunately, not many people joined the activities, but on the other hand, we've had more time to chit chat with each other. We loved the night entertainment with live music, even tho the lobby is a bit small, we've still had a really lovely time. This was our first time in a Cyprus and if we come back, we'll definitely choose this hotel again! Thank you for everything!
