Travelled here as single parent with my teenage son (14) and we loved every minute. The hotel is modern and clean and the rooms are well equipped. Food is good and although an all inclusive hotel the restaurant had a lovely feel, not like a school canteen which is often the case. The hotel is in a prime location with Protaras and Ayia Napa just a quick bus trip away. Both worth visiting. We also did a boat trip and quad bike safari. Both trips were such good fun.The staff at the hotel are all amazing, so friendly and helpful. There is light evening entertainment which was a blessing not to be bombarded with kids disco etc. Perfect for us. The only small downside was the pool temp, it was cold as others have mentioned.but didn't stop us from jumping in and having a swim. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend. Very sad to to be home

This hotel is fantastic along with all of the staff who work there. Having just returned from a week away here, we couldn't find a fault. Staff are super friendly and go above and beyond to help. The food is varied and the quality never disappointed. Bedrooms are modern, clean and comfortable The only one criticism (and being super critical) was the pool temperature being cold but we soon got used to that. Thankyou to all the staff for giving us a family holiday to remember.

Recently returned from a one week stay. We had two superior double rooms with sea view. The rooms both had huge balconies - 2 sun beds, 2 deckchairs and a table and 2 chairs on each balcony. We had 2 teenagers but for some reason this hotel does not have any twin bedded rooms. They didn’t want to share a double bed so the sofa bed had been made up for them. It was really hard - our 14 year old is almost 6 foot tall and he said it was like sleeping on a brick. I asked if he could have a mattress cover, extra duvet or anything to make it a bit more comfortable but they said there was nothing they could do about it which I found a bit strange. The rooms were very clean - housekeeping staff here are excellent, always cleaning and we had fresh towels and the rooms cleaned every day. We found the whole hotel very clean and tidy. Can change beach towels daily. There is a stocked mini bar in the fridge, free for first use then payable on refill. We arrived late and were given a cardboard box each which contained a cheese sandwich. Two slices of stale inedible bread, slice of curled up cheese and a bit of lettuce and mayo. They went in the bin uneaten and we all went to bed hungry as nothing else to eat save the Pringles in the fridge! We were all inclusive but only had breakfast as we ate out every night in Protaras and Ayia Napa. The food and restaurant does let the hotel down. I can’t understand why the restaurant is so small for the size of the hotel. It wasn’t high season when we were there but can imagine it’s a nightmare when it is. No room to move around in there, and as a consequence of its size not as good a selection as we have experienced in other Atlantica hotels. The food wasn’t always very warm either and you were always queuing for hot drinks/juice etc. The restaurant staff and manager are lovely - as were all the staff we came across. Always tried to help and very pleasant to speak to. They are a real asset to the hotel. The pools were good albeit a bit cold as you’d expect this time of year but about half were out of the sun by early afternoon and you ended up chasing the sun round to the garden area at the back of the hotel. Lovely little cove/beach across the road at Hotel Mimosa. We spent most days at Konnos Bay which is a 10 minute walk away and absolutely beautiful. We didn’t see any of the entertainment as we were out every evening but the area in the bar they use for it seemed very small. The skyline bar has lovely views, it’s not part of the AI and only open from 6pm which is a real shame as it is lovely up there. Location wise we liked it. We come to Cyprus 2/3 times a year but the first time we’ve stayed in between resorts. The buses are frequent and get you anywhere you want to go and they stop outside the hotel. Taxis are good and it’s easy to get into Protaras or Ayia Napa. We walked into Protaras one evening, took just over half an hour. We had amazing weather all week, the days shorten after the clocks go back and sunri

Mixed bag - first impressions were great. The hotel is modern and looks impressive from the outside. Good location less than ten mins on the bus for 1.5 euros to Protaras and Ayia Napa. We were late on arrival due to a late flight and the lovely bar man in the lobby sat and explained the different drinks options etc to us. We were shown to our room - family room with pool view. They brought us some sandwiches which were inedible - stale bread with 1 slice of ham and cheese and no butter. Nowhere to get food nearby so we went to bed very hungry. The meal times on the QR code on the room pass were inaccurate so when we got to dinner on the first night we were half an hour late (7pm). We had to queue to be seated then queue for food and the chefs could not replenish the food quick enough. A few mornings they ran out of bowls for cereal/fruit. There didn’t seem to be much urgency. Pancakes were cold as they were cooked too far in advance and left. Room was a good size and it was nice to have mini bar included as part of AI. The first issue we had was with the air conditioning - so noisy and extremely hot 23 degrees and unable to lower, I don’t know how people cope in the summer and can’t understand why it is set so high! Room wasn’t the cleanest - sticky hand marks from previous guests all over the partitions. The pools were lovely and big but absolutely freezing - they were empty pretty much all day every day. We even saw some families putting wetsuits on their children! The food was ok. Poor choice compared to other Atlantica hotels in the restaurant. There was a lack of cold options - who wants to eat cottage pie or moussaka in 27 degree heat at lunchtime? Also, a pizza oven but the pizzas were not fresh and made from pre bought bases. Such a shame! Breakfast was better but poor choice of fruit - no watermelon, oranges etc. the restaurant manager was a real asset to this hotel - he was wonderful. Pool snack bar made great burgers but the fires were awful and they had an issue with the beer in the cups which meant it was often a cup of froth. Reception staff (lady) very rude. One night the hotel had no hot water at all at peak time which took two hours to sort - we rang to get an update and they were ignoring the phone lines. I had to go to reception and she was very rude and dismissive - we missed our evening meal that night as we couldn’t shower. No apology for the inconvenience! We also found some cockroaches near the pool bar on the last day Overall a cheap deal and a nice bit of winter sun but I would spend my money elsewhere in Protaras or at the sister hotel Atlantica Mare in Paphos!

Just arrived back from Aqua blue, Upon arrival it was beautiful we had a fantastic modern room with a lovely view (room 434) Swimming pool’s were good with lots of seating areas. Splash pool was good for older children although really cold, and the grass area round the it made it very muddy. Food was excellent by far the best all inclusive I’ve been too, lots to choose from in the buffet area, and good food areas throughout the day offering snacks and ice-creams, Al carte also very good. Seven Skye’s cocktail bar was amazing although not part of the all inclusive fair priced for the quality and view. Staff are fantastic all work really hard, the pool ladies always greet with a lovely smile and we’re so good with my little girl a shout out to them and the restaurant staff always accommodating too. The only thing I would say is although the hotel is catered to children there isn’t a lot for them to do. The mini disco was a bit of a let down compared to some hotels we’ve too. Entertainment was very mixed and where it Is placed means seating is very limited. The sax player was very good. Overall a lovely holiday although I’m unsure I would return just down to the lack of children’s entertainment. And only as I have a young child to keep entertained.

Visited recently, this is our third time to Cyprus and our third time to a different Atlantica hotel. First thing to mention no drink offered on arrival, seems to me that should be the first thing they ask after welcoming you. We found the reception staff to not be overly friendly, we had and issue, in fact the whole hotel had an issue on Sunday 29th September where power kept cutting out this in turn caused your lights to come on in the room followed by a ringing of the phone this happened every half hour from 3.30am until 6.00am when we went and mentioned this, barring in mind we didn’t no at this point what was going on, the lady on reception was abrupt with her response as if we were supposed to know what had happened, this was to multiple guests. Also one final thing to note about the receptionist, when we went to check out, I handed over the cards and she replied ‘thank you’ that was it, no, how was your stay or hope to see you again, just no common courtesy. Room looked nice on arrival, fridge was stocked with various beverages, and snacks, free for al inclusive, on the side was some water and apples. It had plenty of storage space, a big walk in shower, a hairdryer, and complementary, hair shampoo and conditioner and hand soap. Couple things we didn’t like first was the air con would only go to 23.c which to us was still way uncomfortable to sleep in, secondly the balconies in our bloke were completely open so no privacy whatsoever from any side or front. The food was your normal al inclusive free for all the area is small for the size of the hotel but we did always find something to eat and it was flavoursome, you have a few coffee and tea machines wouldn’t take long to get a queue but that’s pretty standard. The staff would always sort you out a seat inside or outside was usually a wait for outside but we were happy with just sitting inside, for lunch and dinner they bring drinks to your table. You could order snacks at the Aqua bar from 10.00 to about 5.30pm was supposed to be 6.00pm but we went a couple times at 5.40pm and was abruptly told, no, no cooking no more, fair enough say till 5.30 then. Can’t comment on the al carte restaurants as didn’t use them. Both pools bars the staff were friendly, efficient and made tasty cocktails this was from 10.00am until 6.00pm, only let down was the lobby bar that would open at 5.00pm till late, would of liked to see that opened through the day so you could have a drink in a glass sat on the balcony area, that is what they do at the other Atlantica hotels we have stayed in. The pool areas are obviously busy and you need to be up early to get prime real estate seats as your usual sun bed hoggers are out in full force, this didn’t bother us as we like to chill out the way and never had an issue getting a sun bed away from the pool. The splash park is great for children and us adults, it’s pretty mush identical to the at the Mare village. They have one pool table which costs €1 which is very fai

My 1st solo holiday to this hotel, I was slightly nervous and apprehensive going alone but I needn’t of been, I was upgraded to a suite on my arrival which was a lovely surprise although at 1st thought it was a mistake as there was a note saying Happy Anniversary with fruit and wine in room lol but lovely anyway …bed was super comfy & clean although one wall had dirt marks on it but other than that room was fab ..the staff were super friendly especially Dida the housemaid who was super friendly and just such a friendly lovely person. …I’m a gym goer so my only negative regarding gym was the air con was set to 23degrees which was unbearable & I’m tough but people were coming in gym for 10 mins and just had to leave because of air con issue, not great when weather is hot outside so had to hold door open for some air to come in using a dumbbell, also it would be great to have a water compartment like ones around hotel to replenish your water which was sadly missing & very much needed.. but I’d like to thank the two ladies who were cleaning gym early morning sorry don’t know there names but I hope they know who they are they to were so friendly (the one took pic on her phone as memory ) ..food in main restaurant was fantastic plenty of choice thankyou to the chefs, and the waiting staff in main restaurant work so hard and always with a smile on there face ..seemed to be plenty of sunbeds, I confess I was one of early sunbed hugger but only because I get up early to go gym …definitely recommend this hotel ..thankyou to every one working so hard at hotel

We arrived yesterday from an amazing 10 day stay , and I can honestly say this hotel is beautiful.I worked abroad 7 years and 3 years of them in cyprus and compared to the hotels I worked in , this hotel was honestly brilliant. There's plenty of loungers and the waterpark kept the kids entertained. We went half board and the snacks around the pool were actually really tasty and not bad priced. The room was small but had everything we needed and the shower was our favourite !! The staff in the restaurant were so lovley expecially Georgio :) always make an effort to talk to us! As an ex entertainment representative in many hotels , unfortunately we never used these facilities as we didn't actually meet the entertainment, not many people knew what was going on with the entertainment. When we did entertainment with Thomas cook we did announcements etc but unfortunately they didn't,but that really wasn't a major thing because we always the caught the bus to protoras which is opposite the hotel and every 15 minutes ! It takes around 10 minutes to get into protaras. The ladies in the shop in the hotel and the lady we hand our towels into were soo friendly and welcoming the cleaners were there everyday with fresh bedding and towels. Also a shout out to the lobby team bar effie and Petros who were lovley and made us feel welcomed! There is a beautiful little beach 5 minutes from hotel and we spent a couple of days there ,its beautiful and quiet. We would definitely come to this hotel again as we already miss it thank you very much ..our children loved it
